Misha glanced around, sizing up her enemy. His reach was impressive, but he was putting his superior weight into the full length of the wooden blade. She breathed in sharply, then lunged forwards, aiming to close the distance so she could stab him in the gut.
@Azereiah Misha shook her head, beginning a circling movement around him as she edged through the water, still poised to lunge. "I've had worse, city boy." She watched him for a moment, then moved forward in a mock stab before withdrawing once again.
Misha held her ground, noting his retreat at the first single of momentary failure. Doubt, she thought. He really isn't used to this. She held her knife horizontally away from her chest as she watched for his next move - or an opening to lunge in. At the very least, she knew that her blade was sharper.
Misha lurched to the side to avoid Brick's strike. It caught her thigh with a thud, bruising but not incapacitating. She leaned into the water to try to avoid him as it soaked her pant legs. She began to edge back into the water.
Misha shifted her grip, frustration growing. This Rabin was clearly confident in his skills, but she didn't care. His clothes were too clean, his hair too trimmed, his weapon not yet used. She had no doubt he could take her down if he had experience, but her blood was boiling. She paused, then ducked down and lunged for his stomach with her knife curved towards him.
Misha glared at him from her place just beyond the shore. The water lapped at her ankles, not threatening for now but potentially dangerous if she planned on running. She eyed Brick's wooden weapon with a wary glance. "You're not taking me back," she growled, tightening her grip on her own knife until her knuckles were white with strain. "No fuckin' way."
@Azereiah With a swift motion, Misha backed up so her feet were in several inches of water, then slid her hand to her waist and pulled her knife out. She held it in front of her. "Back off!" she hissed.
Misha drew her hands to her chest at Kianna's words. "Me? No way!" She hissed. She ignored Brick's aggressive call for answers - or cooperation. He was clearly new around there.. "Fabine would be pissed, you assholes. You can't do that."
Brick looked daggers at Kianna. He was not in the mood for that shit.

"I'll explain her for you, then. That cat did something stupid, you dragged him out of the river, and she's worried about him. She probably thinks we're going to do something unpleasant to him or hold him hostage or some shit like that. Oh, and she's probably going to try to kill one of us if we don't cool this little problem down quickly. Good enough, or would you like to hear it from the end of that dagger of hers?"

He stood up again and picked up the sword, digging the tip into the gravel and looking toward the riverbank.
"If you're not going to get out of here, you freezing to death isn't my problem."

Misha made a strangled sound. "Who's side you on, bud!"
Misha's eye twitched. "What do you want me to say? What does it matter to you? You clearly don't give a damn about us, so are you asking me so me so you can get all holier-than-thou?" She shook her head."That's so like you guys."
