Also, David had not yet realized that Devon was a girl."Eh? Sparring?" Devon turned to the well-muscled boy with a look of slight awe. "Aw yeah, let's do it! I can totally practice the techniques teacher's been trying to get me to learn! But!" The bright-eyed teen gave a smirk and crossed both arms. "You have to be sure you can handle it. Shea answered without looking at the merman.Runo smiled at the girl despite the fact that she probably couldn't see it from her position. "I'll be careful, then. And I'll keep to the nearby places in the hallway that connects directly to here for now." Finally, he felt like he had an idea of how to actually be helpful. Provided that he could remain careful enough not to draw attention to himself or the group, of course, but that probably wouldn't be too much of a problem as long as he stayed alert.
