The smile on his face never dropped for a second, if anything only becoming more deceptively cheerful as the light glinted off his glasses and concealed his eyes from the front. "That's no good either, is it? You're lucky that we happen to know this fine man in front of us, or there might have been a serious accident~. Of course, his companion escapes my knowledge, however." As the cat strengthened the grip he had on the young man's head, the sound of his voice only continued to take on an oddly sweeter tone, as if it were just a genuinely friendly reminder or fun game of some sort that he was explaining. "There are far worse things than death, you know~? But I'm sure we can work this out peacefully instead, right~?" Turning his attention fully back to Willis at his question, Lucifer opened his previously closed eyes and smiled wide. "Hello, Willis! I thought I recognized you! I came to walk Master home when this nice person showed up! By the way, that's a good question, isn't it?" He turned back to the man he still held in a vice grip, looking obliviously happy. "Do I know you, Good Sir? Surely you must be a valued customer of mine or a past assistant for my research, yes? I always like to know that my acquaintances are in good health~."

Kaiden lay back on the roof in a more concealed corner, lunch still boxed and wrapped up beside him. The tall redhead wasn't fully asleep, more in a halfway state for the time being, but he actually wanted to eat before he fell asleep fully. Perhaps I should sit up for now, then, so I don't drift off completely before I get the chance... Then again, the pillow he had made with his jacket was really comfortable, especially with the fluffy lining he had sewn into it... I'm sure it will be fine if I lie here just a little longer...

The butler tilted his head curiously, the smile never leaving his face. "A house in the woods? Do you mean the Fauve establishment, by any chance? Not many people actually seek it out, but the town must have sent you, I suppose." Turning to look at one of the nearby trees, his expression morphed into a slightly confused pout as he considered how this would affect the current plans. "I swear, they never seem to send word in advance anymore. It must be one of the issues of keeping the property hidden out here..." He placed a hand on his chin as he muttered to himself for a moment about how proper correspondence was important for preparations before turning back to the girl with another smile. "Well then, Young Madam. If that is indeed where you are going, then I shall be happy to escort you there. I must return to be certain that the young masters are not causing trouble for our other guest, after all."
