The boy took a moment to respond to the greeting, almost as if he hadn't noticed her at first. When he finally turned, he seemed to have a faraway look in his eyes, but nodded before drawing an 'x' on his throat with his finger and miming a writing motion.

No worries, stuff happens. I just finished my exams myself, so I know how that is.
I should move Tristyn to the characters tab as well... I'll get that done today.

Also, I wanted to give him some sort of demon form to follow the "demon cat" theme for a traditional bakeneko, but I want to know if anyone has an opinion on that first. Would it be too much?

Name: Aiace "Rose" Cavallero
Being: Bakeneko
Age: Appears to be close to the age of 18
Gender: Male
Appearance: Approximately 5' 7" in his human (or nearly-human) form with brunette hair that falls just below shoulder length. He usually wears it tied back, but in combination with his general face shape, it does sometimes cause him to appear a bit feminine to those not paying close attention. His ears and tail, when visible, display a fur color a little darker than his hair. His eyes are an olive green color, usually hidden behind a pair of glasses.

As a cat, he's fairly small with dark fur and a split tail.

Powers: Poison Immunity - developed at some point during the transformation process, along with his apparent issue with his eating capabilities...

Nutrition from Nothing - he can eat pretty much anything. It doesn't mean that he never regrets it, however, for any number of reasons. He also has trouble avoiding uncovered corpses due to the nature of his abilities.

Shape Shifting - only for forms of dead bodies consumed. Their living appearance is used rather than their nonliving ones.

Bio: Aiace has been traveling for a while, trying to avoid being caught by curious humans and generally trying to get used to the changes in his life. At this point, he's mostly used to the surprises turning into a 'demon cat' has brought, with the exception of a few little extras here and there. As a result of his unfortunate habits that seem to have come along with his powers, he has become very interested in the realm of food, what makes it taste good, and how it could taste better.

Personality: Usually fairly polite and relaxed about many things, but very passionate when it comes to food and a little tense about the subject of test experiments. He has a bit of trouble eating things he's not supposed to, sometimes without even realizing it.

At times, he can act like a bit of an airhead and can be distracted fairly easily, but has had enough unfortunate experiences at this point to know when it's time to be serious.

That sounds cool! I say that's a good thing to keep, especially if there's backstory stuff associated with it. Who knows when something like that could come in handy?

The male nodded and brought out two cups to put on the table along with a jar of honey. "I'm actually a bit worried about that message, to be honest. Everything about it is just really suspicious, so I doubt it's just something intended to be heard or read calmly. Perhaps we should be tightening up security even more..." He frowned a bit as he thought more on the situation, but turned his attention toward getting a knife to cut the bread with after a moment.

"By the way, you mentioned that you could use illusion magic earlier, right? About how much can you do with it? Do you use it often?"

It's all probably going to start making sense once we get back to the guys who escaped. They're definitely not gone for good.
Also, the newer or the older version of the movie? I've read the book as well.

Interestingly, I suppose. They'll have to be a lot more careful if they want to keep this a secret. X3

"That's a relief, because I had no idea where I would send troops if I had to. The fact that you came alone really helps, I suppose." The young demon laughed a little as he began looking around the kitchen for breakfast ingredients. "Like I said yesterday, or I think I said it, the Red Dawn Brigade kind of sent people in here for some reason or another some time between when we started that fight in the throne room and when you went back later for your sword. Exactly what they did besides trespassing and creating a general disturbance..." He shrugged as he placed the rest of the bread from the day before on the table along with a few fruits of slightly odd coloring and texture. "...we don't have the whole story yet unless something changed during the night. What I did get from the guy in the dungeon was that they were supposed to leave a 'message' for us, but they apparently didn't expect the 'trap' to be set up to separate them."

Turning to the small stove, he snapped his fingers beneath to produce a spark and placed a kettle over it. "I don't remember any traps where they were supposedly separated, so I guess that must have been around the time I used the command on the doors so you could get to your sword without being caught. Do you like tea, by the way? I have a new one that I got as a gift about a week ago, but I must have forgotten that it was here."
