Hello! Nice to see you, eh?
I'm Yami, a college student and sometimes decent artist heavily influenced by anime/manga styles. Um...I'm not that interesting, really. I do some cosplay stuff and can get really into anything that interests me enough, but that's about it.
I might be in a bit of a slump right now, actually. I'm looking for something really fascinating to pique my interest once again, help me get back into the swing of things. I'm into crazy fantasy situations, especially.

Kido nodded at the instructions he received and followed the taller boy cheerfully. He felt a little bad that his new companion still seemed a bit stressed, but maybe he just needed some time to adjust. Maybe tired from traveling as well and would feel better after some time to just rest. The short boy wasn't sure.
"Perhaps it won't seem as far away after we've walked to it once. Isi told me that unknown destinations are always farther away than known ones, but who knows?" He shrugged again as he walked, but kept a small smile on his face. He would try his best to get the other boy to feel better if he could; the first day of camp was supposed to be a good thing, after all. Wasn't it? He really hoped that Kyle would be able to stop worrying eventually.
At the sound of the bell, the brown-eyed boy looked around before speeding up his walking. "I think we need to hurry! I bet that's important, whatever it is."

Sorry for the wait! I'll try to get a post up soon, but I might have a little difficulty with anything else until late Monday/Tuesday. I'm out of town for the moment, so internet and general availability is a little rough.

I am too. I'm just hoping Shadow responds... otherwise I'll just pull my characters away and say Leera just pounded the other person into dust or something.
Let's not kill anyone we don't have to. Based on the power description, we can probably assume that the attack was somehow safely deflected and just let them fade into the background from there. Besides, it will be troublesome if Rhapsody ever comes back and decides to resume with that character. We can't just say "we killed them" without repercussions. Too messy.
Also, you'll owe Kyo a new tablet. She still has his and I'm still working on an explanation for how he gets it back.
EDIT: I forgot about the trauma factor as well. Everything will probably go to heck if another orphan is just killed in front of the rest, but if it happens, I guess we'll just have to deal with it.

Kido shrugged and looked straight ahead as he walked next to Kyle, holding the strap of the bag in both hands and letting it swing in front of him as he moved. "I don't think anyone can accept people with powers easily. Papa says that there's always going to be something that people have concerns with, no matter how small or silly a thing it is. If they aren't used to it, people are going to be nervous no matter what; it's just part of human nature even among the stranger ones of us. I think what scares me more than that is if we never get to use what we have enough so we can stop being afraid and actually learn how to avoid problems..."
The shorter boy blinked a few times as he quickly stopped speaking, grinning widely again after a moment as if he had forgotten the topic already. "Anyway, I'm just glad to get to see so many different people around! It'll be fun to see what everyone can do and get to know them. I bet we'll get to try all sorts of activities, too. Maybe we'll get to do something really challenging, like running a maze! I think it would be fun to try it at least once, through a bunch of hedges with all sorts of puzzles or something, don't you?" He looked around for a moment when he realized that they had arrived at the first cabin before turning back to the brunette boy. "Ah...do you want this one to stay here, or is it yours?"
