Anyone up for exploring Alola? Here's some basic guidelines for the rp:
- You can have maximum 2 pokemon on you at the start. I was thinking we should go slow in building a team. This way we can give each pokemon a well developed personality. So don't rush into a 6 pkmn team.
- Obviously no legendaries. You can befriend them if you want but you can't catch them.
- Please give your character some background or specific personality, it's not only about the pokemon.
- You can be from any region.
- About 2 posts each week is a good average.

Gardenia chose Turtwig for her next battle. Kjolmar peered at Beau for a second and narrowed his eyes a bit. "Beau, how about you go sit with Aro and Belle while you watch me battle?" Beau nodded and made his way to Aro.
"Go Noivern!" Kjolmar yelled while releasing the giant bat. A bold move perhaps, he wasn't sure if she was still being stubborn from before. Luckily Noivern obeyed every command and the battle went well. While Kjolmar received his badge, he smiled broadly at Noivern. "Thank you." he told her with a certain pride.
After retreating Noivern, Kjolmar nodded at Beau, who rushed to his side once again. Kjolmar took a deep breath and faced Aro directly. "You know what, man? With all the Team Galactic bussiness, Han and his Pyroar and the gym battles, I feel like we and our pokemon need a break. Shall we visit the local safari zone before we continue our quest?"
"Go Noivern!" Kjolmar yelled while releasing the giant bat. A bold move perhaps, he wasn't sure if she was still being stubborn from before. Luckily Noivern obeyed every command and the battle went well. While Kjolmar received his badge, he smiled broadly at Noivern. "Thank you." he told her with a certain pride.

Legba raised an eyebrow at AJ for the comment but Justin just stared at him without blinking. With Justin, it was always as if a million thoughts went through his head but none of them revealed themselves through facial expressions. "You know I don't like to hurt birds." he replied with a neutral tone.
Justin had earned a lot of badges in other regions before but he had left them all at home. In fact, he only brought his very first partner Legba. Justin has a very complicated past and he never told AJ why he was in Johto. It's not that he wanted to keep secrets but he didn't find the right timing to bring it up.
"Azalea Town is south of here." Justin wasn't wearing any shoes but no one had seemed to comment on it so far.

Falkner's Pigeot crashed to the floor and fainted. "Gym leader Falkner is out of pokemon. The challenger from Alola is victorious!" Falkner retreated his fainted Pidgeot and walked over to his challenger. "You have earned this Zephyr Badge. Congratulations!"

He didn't walk with a straight back and his eyes seemed emotionless at first, not exactly someone you would walk up to to have a friendly conversation. He was also rather pale considering he came from Alola, where there is lots of sun. But weirdo or not, Justin had just gathered his first Johto badge without breaking a sweat.
"Well done, Legba." Justin said to his trusty partner, an Alolan Marowak who looked just as creepy as his master. "One step closer to getting their attention."

"You two can play again soon but you have to learn that you can't be together twentyfour-seven." he whispered in comfort. Kjolmar could be a bit strict at times but he always had the best intentions. It was because of this quality that he had gotten so far with Gyarados.

No wonder his sister Alice had her doubts about Phantump. Kjolmar knew he had to think of something to get that pokemon under control somehow. After all, he had mastered control over Gyarados so it had to be possible. Perhaps he should think of a special training programme for her.
