Yeah, I've been using the Psypoke stat and damage calculators. I feel it's the best way for me to make unbiased decisions about battles, but that's just my opinion. Keep in mind that avatars have half the stats of their respective Pokemon. Anyone can run the numbers themselves if they want to take the time.
On that note, make sure you're updating your avatar and Pokemons' levels and moves in your character sheet. It may make a difference in battles against NPCs.
EDIT: After seeing the quote several times, I finally just realized the leader should've said "whom you're cheering for". -_- Oh well. Terrorists don't have to be grammatically accurate.

The woman's Koffing and the middle Gourgeist can still be fought. The Gourgeist is about to take a swipe at Rebeca.
None of the first trainer's Pokemon are knocked out yet. I ran the math; Kaze's lower level and mostly non-stab attacks didn't cut it. So he can still go avatar state and/or the remaining fighters could help him. I was planning to include this info in the mass post. Rethel, I know you're eager to post. I'm just a little worried that one person taking down four enemies won't leave enough for the others to do. Can we wait to see what they want?

Yes, a normal human taking a Selfdestruct to the face would be potentially lethal under normal circumstances. Unless they're karate masters or something, humans are considerably weaker in battle than Pokemon.
