Elizabeth, from the little that she had personally observed, could see that the first-years were as excited as she had been. One boy in paticular seemed excited for his situation. However, she doubted that they were as ambitious as herself. They were passionately opening their PLTs, just as Elizabeth's class had last semester.

Rowan wasn't in a hurry to tell Bessie. He'd let her have some rest before he bothered her any further. They both needed some rest. After looking at a few things online, Rowan checked his e-mail. Bessie hadn't sent him the work yet, so Rowan took it easy. At the moment, he did not really know what to do, so for now he spent his time messing around, finding out more about the way Earth and the internet operated.

After a bit of searching and a bit of asking, Aaron had been able to find the ingredients that he had been asked to find. He had brought back salt, a lemon, some rosemary, black pepper, and some basil. He held all of them in his hands, and then carefully laid them on the table as he came back over.

"That doesn't sound like me, but it's not like I've got a better idea. If this somehow works, I'll have to thank you, Mictlantecuhtli," Ruomahl said. "She's not out there now, so there's no chance of doing it now. I'll be here and you can do whatever it is that you do.

Rowan then went back to this laptop that he had apparently turned on. He seemed to have been taught the basics, but he truly didn't have any idea what was going on. Whatever the case may be, however, he'd first check out whatever .com meant, then he'd go to this "online" dictionary. After that he'd see if they had anything about math on this internet, since his algebra was a little rusty. He'd probably be there for a while.

"Well, alright," Rowan said. "But you seem to be missing three point. It's not about finding a place called hell, it's about fixing this problem I've created."

Rowan went and turned on this laptop thing. Apparently it would have all the information he would need.

"There's no need to be too organized, just keep everything they give you," Elizabeth said.

She took a seat in the lecture hall that had empty seats beside it. She figured that what would mostly go on would be orientation. The lecture would be dedicated to the new students.

"So, you're the mysterious advisor," Rowan said. "It's Bessie. We might have been said to have been getting along well. That was, until she asked where I came from. I slipped up, and used a euphemism for hell, and somehow she caught it. When she confronted me about it, I denied having anything to do with fire and brimstone, so she simply felt lied to. Now the distance between us grows. I can't just apologize, as I would have to apologize for something. If I change my story now, I'll need a damned good one to fool her now."

Rowan quietly went to his room, but his thoughts were raging like the ocean. He was full of exasperation, owing his displeasure to the way events had gone. If only he had thought of a better lie, all the anger that the two of them spouted would not have sprung up. He crashed upon his bed, making a large sound.

"There must be something I can do to rectify this," Rowan said. "Spirit, if you truly are to be my future adviser, then tell me what I can do to fix this."
