Current And maybe most people don't like getting a single line back in response to a few paragraphs? Like whatever floats your boat, but there's a reason Free exists.

If the man's is asking for a ban, might as well give it to him. Good riddance.

Then you'd just be crying about why it's permanent instead.

“Can’t say I do, though mine may not be as obvious. Given how both your powers are applicable to this problem though… I hope I figure it out soon if I have one.” While Rena went about identifying more objects, Valair instead stood still and tried to puzzle out what he might have been given on the way here. He didn’t really manage to get anywhere with that line of thought before another discovery by Rena seemed to give the three of them the final piece of the puzzle. It wasn’t a particularly hard one with Rena’s powers, but he shuddered to imagine how long it would have taken someone without that very specific ability.

Nonetheless between him and Adam, the two of them managed to shift the statues around until they sat over the matching sigils. He handled the lighter of the three; boron, titanium, and iron, and only just managed to move the iron rifleman statue in place as Adam set the heaviest of the six in place.

Yet when he opened the door, it was to the same result without any change. Valair tried a few times from either side before he stepped back with a frown and examined the piece again. Evidently somewhere along the way the three of them had messed up. “Huh…” he muttered as he approached the door and examined the top of its frame. He wasn’t sure how he had missed it the first time, but there was a distinct imprint that looked like one of the sigils would fit in just right. That probably meant that one of the sigils was supposed to go in then, but how to figure out which one? “There’s a slot for one of the sigils to fit inside on the door,” he called out to Rena as he returned to examine each statue in turn again.

It wasn’t immediately obvious, but he noticed the symbols on the floor just in front of each statue after a few moments. “Hey, Rena. Think you can match these to the big chart over there? Might tell us which statue belongs where.” Afterwards he walked around the room and touched each statue again on a hunch. He must have missed it the first time around, but with the mindset that he likely had a power that could contribute to this puzzle, Valair could feel it if just faintly. It was subtle and barely noticeable, but he could feel a slight tug within himself as he touched the cold surface of each carving. Eventually after a few cycles, he placed his hand on the statue and nodded. The tug he experienced with the other statues definitely wasn’t present with this one. “I think I’ve found the sigil that goes in the door,” he called out to the others again, “any luck with those symbols Rena?”
if you were to compare them to our own periodic table, you can figure out are actually numbers ranging from 1 to 6.

Sorry for another question but just to clarify, but what numbers?

Would they be Hydrogen to Carbon Aurora equivalents as in the first to sixth elements on Earth's periodic table?

Or are do the symbols coincide with the elements of the statues and sigils?
Hm. Interesting application of Soul Anchor for sure. Didn't intend for it to be used for investigation, but awesome idea on your part.
The diagram/table/chart doesn't just have the six square fillings... but over 100 elemental square fillings, each being a single element and being in a specific order. It resembles something that can be found on Earth, but the layout is vastly different.

Huh. Must have mixed it up with the six Saints, or whatever they were called, that were supposed to be elsewhere on the wall.

Damn, messed up a lot of my IC posts running off that misunderstanding then.
@Gnar The Missing Link
Oh right Gnar, just to make sure I have this clear, but the room is as follows right?

Six statues surround a lone door, under each of their original positions is a tile.

On the wall is a circular diagram/table/chart with six square fillings.

Just a bit confused if those words are all describing the same thing and simply used because Rena and the others see it differently.
Alright, so, after much thinking, I have decided that I would like to appoint @Ashifili as my Co-GM, both from recommendations from others and activity. If you're willing to accept this position, I'll be more than happy to have you on the job!

You know not what sort of blood thirsty monster you have unleashed.

He cracked a small apologetic smile when the Goddess calmed down, even if she wasn’t fully recovered. “Just please be careful with those. And no… I can’t stay mad at someone who’s trying their best,” he said reassuringly, before he stood and took a step back to give her some personal room. “Shiva?” The name wasn’t familiar to him as one of the current Deities in the world, but he could only assume that they were one of Thoth’s peers.

Shiva’s identity took a back seat as he apparently picked up on a tidbit he very well shouldn’t have. “Oh geez,” he muttered, scratching at the back of his head at the idea that those monsters were weaker than they should have been, “I guess your idea was on point.” He was otherwise quiet as Thoth finished her explanation, though he did frown a bit at the mention of a “blessing quota”. While he could understand information that was distributed on a need to know basis, the idea that it had to be paid f- No, before he ran down that line of thought too much, it would be better to hear what the quota was from a Goddess rather than using his possibly mistaken assumptions. “Of course,” he agreed with a nod, “but would you be able to explain exactly what this blessing quota is?”

He spared a glance back towards Vincent just to make sure the other man was fine given his silence. Whether it was to hear better or because he had already expressed Vincent’s own views well enough he couldn’t tell, but the other man was still conscious so he turned back to Thoth.

Just as Adam was a bit confused, Valair watched curiously as the other man moved the statues about with no real difficulty. All of the elements that Rena had rattled off weren’t exactly light even if they had been designed to be moved apparently. “Silver and cobalt should be heavier than iron,” he pointed out, recalling the tidbit of information he recalled from science classes, as he made his way over towards Adam.

“Well, Rena seems to have gained the ability to read materials through touch, and the puzzle seems to be designed with that in mind. Maybe you got stronger so someone could actually move them around.” With that in mind, Valair didn’t try to pick up the statue, but tried to simply the tip the piece over. He had to put a decent amount of effort to tilt it even slightly and the thud as it crashed back to the floor, dispelled any doubts of the statue’s composition.

“Yeah… seems like you got super strength,” Valair said with a nod. “Damn it’s cold…” he muttered to himself as he could no longer keep himself from shivering. Well, there was a solution in sight for their problems, so best get to work rather than stand around and do nothing. Even if he couldn’t move the statues as easily as Adam, he could pick and choose. "I suppose those small sigils mark which statue goes over them then."
Bullshit, lol. Well, maybe not earlier in the week.

“Joy to me,” Valair murmured as he noticed the carving was actually quite larger than he had expected. Oh, and it was also covered in frost and his hands were already quite cold. He picked through his backpack for a moment and grinned in success at discovering a metal ruler. Not quite an ice pick, but better than frostbite on his hands. While Adam and Rena talked about the statues, he scraped and chipped away at the thin layer of ice on the walls.

“Ah…” The exclamation came as he cleared away another portion of the diagram. A glance between the center of the room and the blurred image through frost and Valair grinned at the end of the puzzle in sight, redoubling his efforts to expose the full diagram. He didn’t pay much attention to his two companions until Rena called for his attention. Given he was basically done with his task by this point, only one corner left, he gave her his attention and tried to warm up his hands with the small break.

With Adam’s little discovery, it couldn’t be helped that Valair raised an eyebrow and said, “Well, I guess you were dropped here for a reason Rena. We’d probably be here a lot longer without you.”
