Just so long as you can keep an OOC alive you can generally keep the IC alive as well. You just have to encourage some chatter, like imagine how well Heef would get along with "Da pretty one dat I put holes in (Eldar)".

No joke it would seem. Just me trying to hard to make a stupid character funny. Sorry, I've been reading an awful lot of my first RP experiences and they may have coloured my imagination ever so slightly, leading to less refined OOC statements. Too crude I think.

I have not had internet for two days.
TWO DAYS.
And even without the internet as a distraction I still managed to play 11-ish hours of Mass Effect and not beat it yet.

Well, if he's just up and left this, then it shouldn't be an issue if someone else takes over. I mean, we'd have to get his character killed off the moment we landed, or NPC him as just a quartermaster, but that would be the sacrifice we'd have to make. Seems that Fallen Muse is in the same boat, as it was her turn to post and she was active elsewhere but not here.

I have no objections to someone else picking up where he left off, so long as everyone else is still interested. In all honesty, this is my only active roleplay, so I'll probably wither away into nothingness if this dies so soon.
