History:
He has been working the mines for as long as the town can remember. At first he was going to rebel from his families less than flashy work but at about puberty he found out something very important of Manuel labor,its simply the most satisfying feeling in the world! A cave in almost killed him, and his family persisted in him finding a new profession simply due to the seriousness of his injuries at the time.

While recuperating he worked with the local blacksmith as to help build up his diminished muscles. What ended up happening was a mastering of the world stone! The feel of the heat, the sweat running down his brow, and the best part was the crash of the hammer against the malleable metals! Any chance he gets he is crafting some ornate tool or trying to refine one to a level of perfection that is completely unneeded for its likely fate. (But seriously you need a pickaxe that can scratch a diamond.)

History: Joel was born in Mineral town as the coddled son of a fisherwoman. Spending the majority of his childhood quietly fishing along the coast withdrew Joel from the rest of the town, for his mother would deliver his catches to the residents in his stead. Upon reaching adolescence, Joel grew weary of his introverted ways and thrust himself into town. Lacking social experience at that age, he regularly made a fool of himself toward the townsfolk, and he failed to earn their respect. Growing frustrated by his inability to find a place among society compelled him to indulge in various vices. Gradually, he distanced himself from his mother and the rest of the town.

The unsavory habits exhibited by Joel became a source of concern for some townsfolk, and this attracted the attention of the then current priest of Mineral Town. On a brilliant morning, the holy-man discovered the degenerate youth, and the two shared the first long and meaningful discussion that Joel can remember. Following that fateful day, the priest served as a role model for Joel, inspiring him to pursue the path of priesthood, which he eventually fulfilled some years later. Once earning his status, Joel decided to depart Mineral Town and wander his own path.

Joel traveled the world as a migrant worker-priest for many years absorbing the lessons of the world, and partaking in many adventures. One day, he returned to Mineral town planning for a brief visit, but altered his plans immediately upon reuniting with his old mentor, who was nearing his twilight. Joel resided with the old priest, and cared for him. Later that year, the old priest passed away, and was laid to rest by Joel. Mineral town had lost its former priest, so Joel decided to assume the vacant position, and has resided in Mineral Town ever since.

Role: Bartender

Personality: "Unfortunately for you folks, I'm the only bartender around, so I don't have to have some winning personality." That being said she really isn't that hard to get along with if you don't mind someone who's a little loud and uncouth at best.

Likes: Alcohol, sleeping, not working, not having to listen to idiots whine about their lives, and did I mention alcohol

Dislikes: Work, weak drinks, listening to idiots whining about their lives, and hangovers

History: Believe it or not, she used to be a teacher, however, she found she didn't really mesh well with a job that required her to be wholly sober at 7 in the morning with absolutely no hope of having any alcohol throughout the day. Also, there was some dissention between her and the admins as there were the number of reports of drugs being taken away from students but they weren't making it to the front office. She decided it was best to allow herself to get away from the city and she went wandering. She had taken a bartending class back in college so when she wandered through the small town and it landed her near a bar that was in need of tending, she figured "Why the hell not?" She figured it would be easy enough to mix drinks, just so long as no one expected her to be some bleeding heart

Personality: Laid back, friendly, but a bit of recluse. Prefers to be amongst his books rather than crowds.

Likes: Reading, writing, books, quiet, people who respect books and enjoy a good story

Dislikes: People who mistreat books, spilling his coffee, stale chips

History: Sam has had a very simple life. He's never had any real trials or tribulations. He excelled in school, he went on to college and got a degree and has just simply decided he prefers to be in the quiet, rural life over suburbia. He loves the English language as a whole and is a restrained grammar nazi as he realizes being strict about it tends to scare people away. He found the opening for the librarian and he snatched it right up as it seemed like the perfect position for him. All day surrounded by stacks of books and the scent of musty old pages? It was practically the perfect recipe for nirvana. Ever since he came to the library, he has a fresh pot of coffee and cookies and the like out for any wayward passerbyer to enjoy. He usually ends up drinking most of the coffee, but he's alright with that.

Personality: Confident, fabulous, magnificent, glamorous, giving charitable and oh so humble...*she puts down the pen*

Likes: Dancing, partying (all aspects), Almost all aspects of expression. Oh and making people blush.

Dislikes: Depends on her mood, but she hates following the rules. Crunchy tacos. Water. Tofu.

History: She worked as a Lawyer for quite some time, Mostly civil suits that where rather childish in nature. Though profitable it was frivolous work that brought her no happiness. After amassing a small fortune she abruptly quit,(Mid case to add flare and ensure she was barred.) and traveled the world in search of happiness. The concept was simple what makes one happy? But being happy was harder than she thought.
It wasn't till her lowest point she took up a chainsaw and cut clean through her mahogany desk, she found herself cutting and shaping till she had a small brown bear crafted from the pieces. With that her new happiness was obtained. She has been in town less than month and already she has set up a shop as a lumberjack, and runs a night music longue at night. All the furniture in including the piano was crafted by her, each piece reflecting a little bit of her journey (The out house is a courtroom motif)

History: Joseph was very engeretic since he was born. At age 3 he joined a dance group and won a dance competition at age five. Joseph's dad owned the store known as Harry's. His dad named it after Joseph's grandfather Harry. When Joseph was 27 he took over the store and renamed it Walter-Harry Convenience Store.

Pretty immature for his age, but I know some people who act similar. xD
