Huh, you're right, it wasnt invoked. My bad. The judge did instruct the jurors, though (as required by SYG law), that Zimmerman had a right to stand his ground and use deadly force. Without SYG, he'd have told the jurors that Zimmerman had a duty to get the hell out of there before defending himself. So I still stand by the claim that Stand Your Ground helped get George Zimmerman acquitted.

Without legal rights, people who would otherwise be convicted as criminals are made innocent!? How scandalous!

Soon people won't be able to be found guilty of bearing arms in the United States any more. Damn legal rights, who even wants personal freedoms to be ensured anyway?
