The year is 2230, and mankind is in a war for the privelage of survival. Across the board, they have spent the last 3 years pushing an undead army, and any elves who stand in their way, back into smaller and smaller territories with ever depleting rescources. Now, "Heroes" and super soldiers have emerged to decide the fate of this war. Their battles will be remembered here.
Gervus patrols the skies, watching the far distant hills for an army of humans or elves who may aproach or attack at any moment. Each beat of his powerfull wings stirs the clouds. Every so often, he spots a scout and unleashes a torrent of flames upon them, incenerating them instantly. The echoe of the roar accompanying the attack echoes throughout this wretched land.

Its a mostly flat plane area, with no grass, only dead grey soil, the charred remains of trees, and occasional burn marks covering the terrains. Gervus seems to be flying a pattern that allows him to also protect the small undead campsite. The troops there are moving to reinforce a fort several miles north, and are only canped for the evening. Their ranks consist of about 3 dozen mindless drones, a few walkers acting as captains, and a pack of feral undead wolves.

As far as weaponry goes, only low caliber machine guns mount their jeeps, and basic riffles fill the arms of the drooling idiots of the undead army. It seems insignificant almost. Some of the walkers have higher caliber sidearms, and occasional swords, but nothing too heavy.

Alastair:
Alastair sits down at a table it was a table full of elves they wanted to aquire some of his "Special talents." He watched them they all looked so nervous but I mean what do you expect they did just summon a devil to come sit at the table with them. "You know I don't have a need for good so please stop offering me that. Now I'm more interested in you guys when you die, when you die you will be turned into ghouls and will serve me there's something beautiful about you elevish people when your dead that just makes me want smile." Alastair said with a smile. "So you will be able to summon me whenever you need conciling on where the enemy is. And in return you all will become my serverents when you die. Agreed?" These 6 elves seemed to be a meletia group who knew they were over there heads Alastair snapped his fingers and a contract appeared. "Now all you have to do his sign." He said with a evil smile as soon as they did he put the contract into his shirt and bowed to them disappearing. Moments later the small building they were hiding in was bombed Alastair laughed, "They should have been quicker on seeking my advice about the enemy."

The sound of the explosion was enough to get the attention of the undead camp. Soon the roar of jeeps screaming up the prarie filled the still air, and Gervus flew overhead, watching down with a smitefull eye. It wont be long before him and his company are upon the elves to wipe them out.

As the company rose over the final hill, Gervus roared out "DESTROY THEM!" And as he did, he let loose a roar that rose 50 or so skeletons from the earth, armed with roots, rocks, bones, and bits of scrap metal. The company began swarming the elves immediately, like wasp.

Gregory Trilo was enjoying himself immensely. He was in the main Lab of the University, and all around him were 'specimens' undergoing the transition from Human to Cyborg. For the most part this transition or change was extremely successful. It did unfortunately require constant supervision, because at any point in time during the change there could be a complication with the specimens human side.

Thank God that I have Dr. Everett to resolve those problems though.

Dr. James Everett summed up would be a man in his forties, bald, tanned skin, grey-light blue eyes and a very calm demeanour. He knew what the human body could handle and coupling his talents with Gregors had already been a proven success. In fact some of their weakest successful projects were already in the field in the front lines meeting up with an undead army that was noticed by some of the few special forces agents still around. These agents were trained by other agents before the inventions of Cyborgs and other similar, efficient, powerful and intelligent soldiers were created.

__________________________________________________

Drake an older military man was in command of one of the first groups of Cyborgs to be lead into combat and he was proud of his position.

For today he was in command of over one hundred Hornets, well that was what their code name was. Basically their cyborgs who originally were people. Their differences were their hair color from brown to red to blonde and their height was anything from 5 to 6 feet and some were male while others female. That was the human side.

Each Hornet had a mechanical right arm laser cannon that can shoot up to two hundred and fifty feet in the air and deal considerable damage to most objects. They also had a tracking device lens over their eyes that helped locked down their targets. The last thing they had was a metal plate inside their back where there spinal cord would be normally. Attached to the plate was a jet pack that allowed them to combat enemies airborne.

Anyway Drake was leading the group of hornets to a reported, sighted undead army that he heard from a scout which apparently was only about twenty miles away. Within a half hour later he saw a large object flying through the sky and he made plans to meet with it whether it was friend or foe.

"Head towards that U.F.O. and get ready to take flight and take down that thing as soon as I give the word." He commanded the Hornets as they made their way closer to the thing.

Gervus had just swooped down on a few already dead elves for fun, and wa climbing in altitude again when his nose and eyes caught sight of humans burning rubber towards him and his company. They had killed the elves about 5 maybe 10 minuts ago, and were only playing with their rag doll corpses at this point. With but a single command, the jeeps were loaded, and undead complaining of "The stench of the living is closing in upon us." Were driving at 40mph towards the humans.

The mounted gunners on the dozen and a half jeeps waisted no time. Before the humans were even within recomended range, they opened fire, raining down hundreds of tracer rounds down the subtle hill at the humans. Aiming was difficult in the rattly jeeps at this range, so likely no real damage would be done for a bit longer. Meanwhile, whilst gunners gunned, skeletons in the backs of these jeeps were being rigged with kamikaze vest, under the assumption that they would be rewarded for their valour.

Back at the elven campsite, Gervus was circling the site from the sky. A dark purple smoke plummed from his jaws onto the elven corpses, engulfing the camp. It wasnt long before elves, who had minuts earlier succumbed to their wounds, were rising to their feet! All of them simply picked up their arms, primarily being swords and shields or bows, and charged down the hill as well. They're far enough behind and without any transportation that it will take quite a bit to catch up to everyone. After the raising, Gervus tilts his head back and lets loose a mighty roar to signify the start of a potential bloodshed. From his spot in the air, he starts scanning the humans, looking for any signs of their leader.

Bullets were raining down upon him and his troop, comin' from some jeeps and before the first bullet hit the ground, Drake was already giving commands. "First 3 ranks take to the air and bombard those undead bastards with lasers now!!! Let there be no survivors..."

There was only six ranks, in the entire troop. Of which the first rank left on the ground was positioned so that the other two ranks behind it could shoot two lasers around each first rank soldier. So the set up was basically a mega lasercannon with almost no gaps in it that would destroy anything along the ground that came within range.

Drake was behind the last three ranks with his green and black cap and shouting constant commands with a smile on his face-as he knew that he was going to destroy the undead vermin.

The humans flew up, or at least half of them did, and so about half the machine gun fire concentrated upwards. Thousands of bullets are dumped into the sky, but thesea rent AA rounds, and hitting an airborn target isnt easy. Maybe 1/20 bullets will actually hit someone or something.

The elves running down the hill have a prfect vantage point to say "Well isnt that funny? Humans are flying! An what in the good name is that on their arms?" One elf who has a wind alchemy pushes both hands forward making a high power jet stream, but still they are too far bac to really knock the human out of the sky. Maybe just make them feel a light breeze.

Meanwhile, Gervus found himself unable to locate a leaderamungst the humans, so he decidedto take matters into his own hands. He flew low around the cover of the hills and took a wide sweep west of the combat attempting to get behind the humans. If all goes well, he can rain his own personal hell upon every one of these "Foolish creatures." Who think they can fly! "Your attemptsto become airborn are pathetic abd insulting" he thinks to himself.

The odd one of Drake's hornets were being taken down by machine gun fire from below. Without hesitation, because the hornets still had the instincts of complete human beings-the remaining hornets retaliated. Within moments dozens of laser beams from laser cannons were raining down upon the infested jeeps as if the sky was raining lights of destruction and smiting the ones who had made it mad.

Drake was smiling at what he still thought was a victory for the human side as he saw the combat between the undead and the airborne cyborgs. It was just too bad that the last three ranks of the company were only holding their position and had nothing to fire at yet.

Even so, Drake knew from years of experience through war that people could always try to flank you or launch a surprise attack. And so he kept a wary eye around for any such surprise.

Its a good thing you had your eyes open. One tree on a hill side forced Gervus[/b to do a last moment menuever. Though he still wasnt visible, the tree swayed a bit, which was barely noticable from your position, and could be easily passed off as the wind. After all, a wind alchemist was on the other side. For now, what apeared to be an obvious victory unfolded before you. A loss of maybe 4 men, to take out what had become a sizable undead company should be cause to celebrate.

[b]Gervus
was able to feel the company get destroyed, and knew only the elves remained. He decided a flyby would be his best option. If pulled off, he could freeze 1/2 of the humans, revive his comrades, and continue flying to seek his revenge upon their slayers. The elves would just need to provide cover. So telekinetically he sent one of them "ATTACK YOU BLATHERING FOOLS!" Whilst he got into final position to wipe out the humans.

The elves began hurtling all of their long range attacks at the grounded company, and one of them with a light alchemy created a shield of sorts, of blinding light to hover over them, and stop the lazer cannons from pummeling them from above as it had the undead. Fire balls, giant lobbs of earth, arrows, and bolts of electricity shot across the hill to hit the humans that were still upon the ground. The noise was so great, and the lights so bright, nobody could possibly communicate with each other to co-ordinate a defence, nor hear Gervus when he does finaly decide to attack.

Alastair snapped his fingers making the elves stop what they were doing and start march to his location those were his elves and he wasn't going to let then die. They were going to help him later, Alastair stood up and reappeared at the bottom of the hill. It would take thirty minutes for the elves to reach him. So he pulled the contract out agin and smiled before putting it away agin. "Oh how I do live business." He said laughing to himself.

A bunch of things happened at once.

Drake thought he saw a tree swaying but he passed it off as a bit of his imagination. Then some long range shrapnel or whatever it was landed into the ground ranks and Drake raised his voice immediately, "Spread apart but keep your lasers focused on those elves and fire!" Unfortunately they couldn't hear his commands, and so they just fired their lasers at the elves out of retaliation as some of them fell to the elves attack upon them.

Then the elves brought up some sort of shield which blocked all attacks, from the lasers that happened to hit it from the hornets above and from the ground and yet it didn't affect the shield at all.

"Stop wasting the Lasers! Can't you see it has no effect??"

Drake's commands fell on seemingly dead ears yet again....

The hornets continued to fire the lasers and it still had no effect.

To hell with this, if these cyborgs can't or won't listen to me, then I'm going to leave and spare my skin.

And so he booked it away from his post on foot towards the safety of the city, without looking back.

Just after Drake left was when it happened. Gervus came from the hills behind the humans. You could hear his roar from miles away. One ice breath upon the back line, and they were completely frozen. One fly by and he knocke the others out of the sky with wing, claw or tail, and that wasnt even all.

After the devastating flyby on the squad without a commander, Gervus circled around one time, and let loose a cloud of purple smoke upon the battlefield. Fallen elves, humans, and undead alike began to rise together, and join together as a now formidable super squad.

"ALL OF YOU IDIOTS NEED TO GET YOUR USELESS HIDES TO THE NORTH AND REINFORCE THAT FORT!" His voice boomed out like dynamite. The risen soldiers joined together and started thei march north. Most of the jeeps were destroyed by laser fire, so resultantly, everybody walked. "This is going to take all day..." Gervus thought to himself as he flew above the group.

Carnage stood atop the hill at one of the forts where the last battle has just occurred, it was the same fort Gervus seeks at the very moment, though Carnage stood atop this hill with his forces, all super soldiers. Their heavy armaments ready to shred the hordes that guard the fort. Most carried heavy machine guns with hollowpoint or armor piercing rounds, explosive slug shotguns, incendiary weapons, or power blades, swords and axes charged with laser energy along the blades edge. Carnage stood a few feet ahead with his abnormally large left arm that was modified to be a hand cannon, that and its large spiked and plated knuckles. He smiled as he checked his AA-26, fully loaded with its deadly ammunition. His black armor seemed to take in the suns light as he pointed his weapon ahead and ordered the charge, the armored men launched themselves forward, sprinting at near 60MPH at the main gates of the fort. Some men ran behind as to open fire on the defenses, and they did. The undead who came armed with rifles to retaliate were either suppressed or ripped apart by the hailstorm of heavy fire. The initial charge quickly collided with the gates, easily broken open by the sheer force of the charge, this landed his soldiers inside, and then came the brutal hand to hand combat. Some of his men were taken, though not alone. At least 20 undead joined the few that did die. Other than that, it was a sheer slaughterhouse for the zombified hordes, merely fodder to Carnage's brutal warpath. Soon the bodies were out of the base being burned to dust. No way they'd be getting another crack at him. He smiled as soldiers began setting up a perimeter, solidifying his hold on the base. They needed to dig in quick though, who knew what loomed on the nearby horizons. Whatever it was, him and his men were already prepared for the assault.

Just as carnage began to burn bodies, Gervus's roar pierced the eerily still air. It was a roar of victory. Shortly after his commands to reinforce the fort you had just taken became feintly audible. How far was he?

The answer would come in but a matter of minutes for in the distance, he was already visible. He was maybe 5 and a half miles out, and his metallic bones glistened in the fading Setting sunlight. A fight was soon approaching.

Carnage cackled in a maddening tone at the glistening bones that flew his way, the laugh was pure hunger. He hungered for a fight, and here was one flying into his cold, bloody hands. "Everyone! Targets approaching from the South! You know, from where Drake left his men." He scoffed and said under his breath "Fucking coward..." He quickly regained focus, shouting out orders as the enhanced men began to move at inhuman speeds, setting up mounted guns in mere moments, in two minutes they were ready, standing, waiting. Let the hordes come, they had plenty of bullets to use on them. That and Carnage was going to personally rip those bones from the sky and smash them into metallic dust. Tonight a Hero was going to die. It was going to be Gervus, no one fucking doubt that. Mercy left his soul too long ago for it to matter in the least whether his "scientific value" surpassed his own. He was going to eviscerate and decimate any Undead. No matter how many they make and throw, he will win. There was no doubt of that by any of his men, they had his back as some even looked to him with reverence, saying that he may be mankind's real honor. Some of his men whisper that they should make Carnage the new leader when it all ends. Though Carnage himself admits it won't happen at all, he's psychotic, and too brash. So he stays on the front lines till death do they part.

In just under 3 minuts, the undead army was just one hilltop away. Gervus from his high vantage point saw something that certainly didnt please his eye... Smoke cloude the view a bit, but there was no mistake. Inside HIS fort, standing on HIS walls, was a human unmistakably identified as Carnage. Gervus knew him, for slaying General Knarl, a large abomination, at what many called the battle of sunset. The humans should have been wiped out but this one human managed to save them. This was back when [b]Gervus was still only a captain. From the cover of clouds, Gervus roared for his men to come to a hault.

"STOP YOU ROTTED SCUMBAGS! DO YOU NOT SMELL YOUR BURNT COMRADES AHEAD? THE HUMANS HAVE OVERTAKEN OUR FORT! PREPARE TO TAKE IT BACK (and likely get completely destroyed by carniage) IMEDIATELY!" With that, the undead roared in confirmation. Gervus began charging a frost breath immediately, especially for Carnage. He knew he would have to fly within range of the arm cannon... Or perhaps he could try a trap...

"CARNAGE!" He roared, and dropped from the clouds into view. He was too farfor laser cannon fire, and normal bullets would likely just bounce off him. He gave a silent signal and a megaphone was loaded into a makeshift slingshot, and hurled to carnage's feet. "IF YOU'RE IN THERE, WHICH I KNOW YOU ARE, LET US SETTLE THIS SCORE PERSONALLY! THAT I MAY GIVE YOU GENERAL KNARL's PERSONAL THANKS!" His deep metalic voice echoed through the fort. "IF YOU REFUSE, NONE OF YOUR MEN SHALL ESCAPE MY WRATH, AND THER BODIES SHALL BE ADDED TO THE ARMY YOU SEE BEFORE YOU!"

If you would call Gervu's assembly an army. It was maybe 180 strong, consistent mostly of resurected elves and humans, a handfull of skeletons, somebless than high tech weaponry, and a few jeeps. Gervus may as well have just told a humorous joke. Truly he couldnt expect to intimidate you with these numbers could he? Not after you had dug in, and had the high ground!

Carnage loved Gervus's attempt at drawing him out. albeit an ambush lay in wait for any tricks Gervus had...So a small force came out, though his small was double that of Gervus's force, in manpower and armaments, being they are Super Soldiers. They stood not too close or far from the base, as the one advantage Carnage truly had was The Sword of Dawn, his satellite superweapon, getting a fix on Gervus and his men, all he was to do is stall, then force Gervus into the nearby open fields, and use it, if it didn't kill him, he'd have to fall back either way. Carnage knew Gervus's true ensemble was waiting for him to strike, his arm cannon was his personal win against the dragon, though he failed to remember that Carnage and all his men used explosive or armor piercing ammo, and Gervus was all metal. So he and his men could rip him down with sustained fire. Also his mounted guns were even worse than the handheld. His men wouldn't fall as quick as Gervus thought, too many contingency plans sat ready and waiting. Plus Carnage was fast enough to elude Gervus's Magical onslaught and get up close and personal, but with the soldiers in his way, he'd be dead in moments, armored or not. So he held his ground, he may be bloodthirsty, but he isn't stupid. Gervus will need to make the initial play here as Carnage replied with an insult "Shut the Hell up. Knarl was fodder to me then, your nothing different. Go ahead and try this base. You will die a failure, that I can promise you. OH! Almost forgot, a personal gift from me to you." What landed at Gervus's feet may be the greatest dishonor to an enemy, he had cut out Knarl's heart and preserved it, that, is now what lays at Gervus's feet. To show him that Carnage is unending, and unrelenting.
