According to those who Zane knew prior to his affliction of retrograde amnesia, Zane had preferred an arsenal of bows and arrow-based attacks. However, his current weapon is a scythe-rifle variant which he has respectively dubbed as "Crow". Crow is designed for both close and ranged combat. The wings on the end of Crow can extend into a shield ("Icarus") that can take a few hits, lasting only as long as Zane himself can focus while on the battlefield. Thanks to unknown reasons, Zane is able to cast smaller spells in the field of black magic through incantations.

Short Biography
Not much is known about Zane prior to life at the academy. Suffering both from a heavy case of amnesia, Zane previously resided with his supposed "Uncle" Marcus and his elven wife, Cecilia. Spending days helping them around the house, he was more than willing to attend the academy in hopes of honing his skills and becoming less "worthless".
Personality
Formerly an egomaniac with a condescending personality, whatever happened in the past three years of Zane's life caused him to revert to a much more quiet and reserved persona. Though he still thrives through a certain sense of cynicism, he has noticeable dry humor and slight pessimism that can quickly lead to a grouchy attitude. Despite all his downfalls (and his insensitivity), Zane is extremely helpful both off and on the battlefield and his sense of idiotic bravery is mistaken for fearlessness. However, this doesn't take away from his value as a fighter, having range over three types of offensive combat. Off the battlefield, he is revealed to be an extremely organized individual, suffering from a sense of perfectionism and OCD with a natural ability for cooking. He is also strangely artistic and at times, very mischievous and playful. Though his playful side is shown more from terrible puns and half-decent jokes, he is more serious than anything else with a slight witty sense of humor and of course, a strangely compassionate and rarely, laid-back side.

While on the battlefield, Zane can only focus his shield for only seven seconds at the maximum. He does not have many fears, but it is revealed that he is absolutely terrified of man-made heights such as lighthouses, airships, skyscrapers and so on, in a way, he also harbors fear for foreign technology (namely diseases) that can come from Earth. As mentioned previously, he suffers from a sense of OCD and perfectionism, though this never bothers him aside from OFF the battlefield. Over the past year or so, Zane has developed a noticeably inferiority complex that causes him to exert himself in order to "prove his worth" -- this is obviously his own stupidity as it often is the cause for "his almost death". Aside from that, another limit is that it takes an amount of time to reload his rifle (for enemy strikes and the like) and that his black magic spells are often so weak that they hardly even damage an opponent. He also occasionally struggles with migraines, flashbacks and night terrors that bother him on a whole new psychological level.
Strange Attributes/Abilities/Traits
He occasionally struggles from heavy migraines, flashbacks and nightmares that are likely former memories, though he does not dwell on them. This also goes for voices that he rarely hears as well. For some odd reason, one of Lucis' seven deadly books reactions to Zane, allowing him to be one of the few people in the world to access it. He is currently holding this book in his possession, though his own fear stops him from reading it.

The Trifling are a name giving to mostly human though somewhat not creatures, Most often it is given to those who are of human parentage but have non human ancestors of a mythical kind, So the great, great grandson of Lucifer would be a Trifling. They tend to inherit a good portion of their ancestors power, though this is magnified through various means such as magical/technological assistance or even something as simple as being the seventh son. They rarely have any visible differences, However their aura is massively abnormal.

Arcane Technomancer. A technomancer is someone who has a mastery over technology. and Arcamancer is someone who has mastery over the Arcane arts, such as magic. An Arcane Technomancer is a combination thereof. capability to create, Master, and use Arcane technologies, often lost, or forgotten. While they oft do not have the precision of a high tech laser sniper rifle, or the ease of hurling a fireball. They make up for it in outright durability, Versatility, and destructive power.

His Primary weapon is Brahak, A magitech Scythe/Axe/Rifle (Assault, not sniper.) This axe is powered by both Leo's innate magic and a internal bank of Mana crystals which re-charge over time. the weapon itself can discharge the Mana in several ways, The first being a blast of concussive force over short distance, the second being energizing the rifle rounds to a specific magic type. the third is enhancing the weapon edge with a specific magic type, the fourth, and possibly most useful is in a 'mana catalyser' which generates ammunition for the rifle. there is also a 'Last Resort' device, called a Mana Bomb, it combines the principles of an Hydrogen bomb, with Mana, creating a hurled orb of condensed energy which would (at maximum charge) flatten a 4 bedroom house, However the more magic he has used, the weaker this attack. The downside is this burns out most of the Mana crystals inside of it, Meaning they need replacing, The amount of destructive force can be reduced (and thus the damage to the mana crystals is also reduced)

Casting Pistol, As seen in his image, this pistol enhances is his magic casting ability and allows him to use more powerful spells, the internals of it are unknown to all but himself, it has an alternate firing mode as a short range (five meter) wave gun which disrupts a targets brain function, knocking them out for a few hours.

Long Biography
Before 'The black gate' was ever created, There was a young man, who while he owned a house and had a satisfying life, Struggled to find anyone who could match his tastes, and so, Living in a world like Lucis, full of magical and mythical creatures, he struck a deal with a Supernatural being, A greater Demon to be precise. The demon would ensure several things for the young man, That his family would always own the house, That his house would always exist, and that he would find a suitable wife. The demon, seeing this mans soul decided it was not worth agreeing, However, The man offered him the soul of one of his children, 3 daughters and 1 son to be precise, The demon's choice, he was so desperate that his name not be forgotten, The demon, enticed by the offer. Agreed. And so time passed the man found a wife and they settled down, They had children, and time came and went. The man, not having seen the demon since, thought that he'd forgotten the deal. However, The demon had not. 4 days before his first daughters wedding, The demon approached the man, and said "I would like the soul of your first daughter." The man flatly refused, and so the demon went away. The man felt as if he had won, cheated the demon. 3 days before The second daughters wedding, the same happened, The man felt as if he had to only refuse 1 last time to win. However, The night before the 3rd daughters wedding, The daughter came to her father and asked him to call the wedding off and Let her elope with a man she had fallen in love with. The father agreed, having not seen this man. This man, as you could well guess, Was the Demonl himself. Once again.
Time came and went, The man passed on, feeling angered that he had been tricked so. The third daughter (and thus the demon) Inherited the house. They had children, 3 sons and a daughter. Time continueds. Now we come to the era of the Black Gate, The gate opened, and in that year 2 things happened, 1 of the sons left through the gate to explore new worlds, rapidly becoming one of the foremost pioneers of introducing Lucis to the modern tech of earth. and one of the few with permission to carry Blueprints and designs through the black gate (No actual tech, Yet). And Leonardo was conceived between the second son and his wife. The house itself was on the ground where the black gate first formed, However due to the generations old deal, It stood fast on its own island, held aloft by the demon power, The same demon who still lived in the house.
Fast Forward 10 years, Now Leo is 9 years old, His Uncle, whom he is named after, Alexander is still one of the foremost transporters of Technology and Trans-world traders, exchanging magical goods in Lucis for Technology of earth, Now allowed to transport the materials as well as designs He often smuggles bits of tech home for his growing Nephew, as he never had a chance to marry, The Demon, seeing this, tries to surround Leo with fantastic magics. The two grow bitter to each other, Trying to outdo each other in impressiveness, one with technology, The other with magic.
5 years later, Leo is now 14 years old, 4 years before the present day, Leo finds a piece of crystallized magic, a spell which was canceled halfway through casting, One of his new toys is out of power (A remote control helicopter), so he tries to get it to run on this spell. It becomes a project, and Both without the other being aware, His uncle and The demon aid him in the endeavor, It takes 6 months of hard work, But the first peice of MagiTech is born. A blending of magic and technology. and over this His grandfather, and Uncle find a new goal, Teach the Young Leo to become the first, and greatest MagiTechition. And so Leo's playroom becomes a workshop, Half Alchemical Lab, Half Techo-mancer's research lab. Overloaded with such a possibility The young Leo is encouraged and enticed to learn and grow in new ways in to the role his uncle and Grandfather have set out for him, and He loves it, Not only bringing the two people in his life who meant so much to him together, but doing things, and learning things that neither of them on their own could do. He learns how to engrave magic on to technology to make it last longer, become tougher or even just do something new. He learns how to wire technology to enhance magic and manipulate mana. The years pass by, He creates a Mana-enhancer, Allowing him to cast spells of his own, combining this with a self defence technology his uncle brought back from earth, He created his wave gun. During this, His Father passed way, His father, a magic wielding guardian, left Leo his axe/scythe, in the hope that Leo would follow his footsteps, Leo took the Axe/Scythe and decided to make it his own, he improved it, fused it with technology, repurposed it to his own will, It became his tool, his weapon. slowly he overtook what his Uncle and Grandfather could teach him. and it became that he would only ask them for knowledge or items when he lost his own way, He began to do things they could not understand. It was then, They realised that he had fulfilled the path they had set for him. It was then, he got the letter to attend The Academy Of The Arcane Artes.

Leo is incongruous in his personality when looked at from a overall point of view much like the first assumption of his skills, though like his skills it seems to fall in to place easily and work together. While warm and friendly he dose not take kindly to fools or those trying to make fools of others. and he often treats those who he sees as fools with scathing sarcasm and cynical sharpness.

Due to the dual nature of leo's equipment and abilities he does not gain any specific strengths either, IE; Someone skilled at magic can use highly powerful and complex spells, or someone who as grown up surrounded by computers could be able to hack. Leo cannot do such things, He must rely on his own Arcane Technomancy and often cannot 'borrow' from others.
Non-Alignment, Due to the fact he has no direct natural magical alignment other than that to his grandfather he lacks a natural defence from magic, He can cast counterspells, or use his weapons to block, but he does not have a resistance to any specific element (EG a earth golem would be almost immune to lightning ect.).
Strange Attributes/Abilities/Traits
Magic-translation; Most magic when cast requires a incantation, or produces a magic circle. And more often than not this is in some strange tongue. Due to years and years of working with magic and combining it with Tech he can read, translate, and dissect a magic spell/circle a few seconds before it is cast, understanding what the spell will do, Clearly the faster the spell, the harder this is.
Technological understanding; The technological version of Magic-Translation, the ability to observe, and understand tech simply by examining it, This however does not confer the ability to say hack passwords or keypads. This is much more on a hardware scale than software, if someone showed him the binary of a computer he'd not understand, if they showed him a chipboard, he'd be able to tell them everything about it.

Light Draconian. Draconians are half human and half dragon. There are 8 types of Draconian, each of these draconian tribes have scales with a color that correspond to a magical element, which they can control. The most common Draconian tribes are Fire, Water, Earth, Wind, and Lightning. On August 1st, the Draconians hold a ceremony as ancient as the Draconians themselves. During this ceremony, Draconian eggs are offered up to become that of pure light. Though, very few actually become light draconian eggs. The Draconians tend to retain their original elemental powers from their tribe.

Draconic Archer- The draconic archer carries a bow like any normal archer, though, given the fact that Draconians can fly and use elemental magic, the draconic archer is able to do so much more. Draconic archers are able to combine their elemental powers with their arrows and flight, allowing them to strike from afar with deadly power and accuracy. Draconic archers are also proficient in using daggers for hand to hand combat, though few can use their magic for much more than lighting arrows on fire.
Weapon
Syl' Dayhlijn, or The wrath of day, is an enchanted bow made just for use by a draconic archer. The enchantment on the bow prevents it from breaking easily, as well as preventing the string from wearing out or breaking. The bow is masterfully crafted, which adds to the fact that it looks cool.

Lucis
Ark was an orphan. His parents died before he was born, even before the ceremony. He was originally from the fire tribe, but he was born as a light draconian. An old friend of his parents had asked if she could raise him, but, due to the fact that he was a light draconian, and not fire, the church would not let her touch him. (around this time the Draconians are extremely religious) Due to his unlucky early life, he grew up mostly on the streets, as most priests or oracles couldn't stand him. At some point he ended up training with an old Archer, who taught Ark everything he knows. His reason for going to the academy is unknown.
Ark is an odd kid, and that is probably why most people don't like him. He is, in layman's terms, an asshole, though it is usually on accident. He doesn't try to be an asshole, he just comes off as arrogant, annoying, and a bit of a prick, even when he tries to be nice.

Ark has a fear of Ice, and is actually weakened by it. He doesn't like water that much, though, he kinda had to get over that. Ark hates darkness, and never sleeps in the dark because of it. He despises dark magic, evil, and especially vampires. Ark is bad at using fire magic for more than lighting things on fire (AKA, no fireballs). His light magic is limited to adding a blinding effect to his arrows, or changing the light levels in small areas.

Even though he is commonly treated like an asshole, he tends to stay calm, unless hes in battle, and then he gets weird. Ark enjoys punishing his enemies and watching them suffer, which is quite odd, but oh well, if he fights, he fights, let him torture his enemies all he wants.

Mechromancer - A class that seems to have an almost magical affinity for technology, specifically with robots and mechs. While it's debatable if a Mechromancer is actually magical, their ability and knowledge with machines are certainly super powerful.

Biggy - Once just a robot toy, now brought to giant life! A ten foot tall mech that acts as robotic butler for Mary, but is more than capable of serving as a bodyguard with powerful arms and and a plethora of weapons. Mary can ride inside of Biggy to activate his weapons mode (Without her there all he can do is punch things) and make use of his various sensors and other gadgets. Mary is always looking to upgrade Biggy and also maintains her own robots, though Biggy is the most advance and combat capable of her machines.

Mary comes from a very rich family conglomerate known as Machina Industries, who are one of the leading producers of anything technological. They have donated much money and resources to the Academy of Arcane Arts to improve relations with Lucis and hope to gain access to their magical powers and knowledge. Mary is one of the first of the Machina family to attempt the Academy and hopes to make many friends who would help her take up the family business.

A nice kid all things considered. Might come off as incentive since she's very sheltered and outright spoiled, but she just wants to be able to help others. She doesn't like the idea that just because she's a kid, or doesn't suffer from horrible things, that she shouldn't be able to help others. She believes that because her family is so rich, they should be able to help others however they can, or at least want to. Like Batman.

Mary fears being powerless. She once saw a servant from her family get fired for one of her mistakes, and she could do nothing to save him. It scarred her, and now she stops at nothing to be able to do something for whatever problem comes her way. If she see's something wrong, regardless of if she even knows what it's about, she's going try to stop it or save whoever is getting hurt. As for Weaknesses, Mary is a very idealistic kid and thinks that everyone has some sort of honor that they live by. Even the most roguish of characters would never stoop to real evil if they have a choice, or even if they don't. Her naivety protects her innocence, but makes her vulnerable to truly horrible people. As for limits, outside her robots, she's just a little girl. Not even a particularly strong one. Energetic and good at running, but she's not athlete and relies heavily on her robots for any form of damage dealing or protection. She's not even good with any particular weapon.
Strange Attributes/Abilities/Traits
Tech Savant - Mary has a supernatural sense when it comes to operating machines. As long as she can get a general idea of what does what, she can quickly become competent and operating various machines and vehicles with very little practice or training beforehand. She can also take apart or recreate various bits of machinery or robotics from whatever she can cobble together, often to surprising effect. Even with crude materials like stone and wood, she can make machines out of it. She just needs a lot of time and a lot of material.

So what exactly is he descended from? All that was said was 'Greater Entity' and an example with Lucifer in it. That needs a bit more clearing up. If it's a story thing, just fire off a PM and explain there.

Magitech is Not Really A Thing. According to Cynder, it exists but isn't used since technology in Lucis is incredibly low-tech and Earth's stuff is apparently just better. Anyway, from here on, just assume everything regarding magitech or advanced technology basically has a big *MAGITECH IS NOT LIKE THAT* or *LUCIS IS NOT THAT ADVANCED* stapled onto it.

Durain armour, This armour is a combination of Magic and technology, combining Hydrogen fuel cells with high power mana crystals allows for a conversion of Mana in to a transmittable, Usable force energy, Much like electricity, and also allows the conversion of Electricity in to mana, and vice versa. The armour itself contains dozens of different sub weapons, such as palm mounted Mana-cannons, a Chakra disruptor on one shoulder (Fantastic for disabling monks and Chi/Ki users). As well as technologically based weapons such as a small 2 shot shotgun under one wrist and a flamethrower under the other, Leo built it in combination with his Uncle and Grandfather, designing it to be a frontline mech suit style fighter unit. Though he's the only one with a copy, the prototype in fact. He's still working on it.
Okay, so there's a few problems here:
1) Mana crystals render being born a mage completely and utterly obsolete. They recharge the exact same way as natural mana, can change their alignment, and you can amass a crapload over time. So... Completely surpassing natural sources of mana.
2) Cynder doesn't like assault rifles in fantasy settings, which is what Lucis is.
3) Mana Bomb is a no. When you have a weapon that uses a hydrogen bomb as a measuring stick and can annihilate a town and only needs a simple reload to do again... Well, then you have a balance problem.
4) Please explain to me how a gun fires magic circles.
5) The alternate firing mode strikes me as less 'nonlethal' and more 'neurologically crippling' than anything.
6) Hydrogen fuel cells will blow you to shreds if anyone gets to them. Also, hydrogen cells, especially miniaturized, are not available at your local Lucismart.
7) Chakra/Chi/Ki = Mana. Not sure how your suit works if you have something that disrupts it. Also, it no-sells magic which is Not A Good Thing.
8) Lucisean power armor is Not A Thing.
Grandson of a greater entity and nephew to a inventor Leo found himself torn between two worlds, unable to chose, he learnt to blend them together. this brought the family together as well as causing interest from both his Uncle and Grandfather, Previously bitter towards one another, the two found a combined interest in Leo. This meant he grew up surrounded by not only ever changing technology and inventions, but ever growing magical power.
Inventor or not, Lucis doesn't get Earth-level tech unless you've stolen it or are part of the black market/a scientific institution. Hell, they barely understand phones.
And before anything is said, I doubt an inventor working for a scientific institute is going to give his nephew all the snazzy prototypes.

'Tis but a flesh wound' Leo is highly unconcerned about taking damage, because he believes it would be easy to recreate an arm or a leg with magic infused technology, or even create something that allows him to re-grow it (No this hasn't been tested yet). This makes him quite reckless sometimes. often the first to jump in to a fray even when outmatched.

Magic-translation; Most magic when cast requires a incantation, or produces a magic circle. And more often than not this is in some strange tongue. Due to years and years of working with magic and combining it with Tech he can read, translate, and dissect a magic spell/circle a few seconds before it is cast, understanding what the spell will do, Clearly the faster the spell, the harder this is.
Technological understanding; The technological version of Magic-Translation, the ability to observe, and understand tech simply by examining it, This however does not confer the ability to say hack passwords or keypads. This is much more on a hardware scale than software, if someone showed him the binary of a computer he'd not understand, if they showed him a chipboard, he'd be able to tell them everything about it.
The only magic that involves circles is rituals and written, the latter of which usually comes with instructions. And I doubt he's able to understand every tongue or have a program that does (which, incidentally, is software), especially considering Earth and Lucis only met two decades ago. Also, what exactly is the value of learning what a spell will do a few seconds before it happens?
He's got a small pet Fae creature, for whom he made a mechanical wing after it lost one to his fathers cat, It's unclear what exactly the creature is, Other than it communicates via telepathy and Identifies itself as Frya.

The Trifling are a name giving to mostly human though somewhat not creatures, Most often it is given to those who are of human parentage but have non human ancestors of a mythical kind, So the great, great grandson of Lucifer would be a Trifling. They tend to inherit a good portion of their ancestors power, though this is magnified through various means such as magical/technological assistance or even something as simple as being the seventh son. They rarely have any visible differences, However their aura is massivly abnormal.

So what exactly is he descended from? All that was said was 'Greater Entity' and an example with Lucifer in it. That needs a bit more clearing up. If it's a story thing, just fire off a PM and explain there.
Arcane Technomancer. A technomancer is someone who has a mastery over technology. and Arcamancer is someone who has mastery over the Arcane arts, such as magic. An Arcane Technomancer is a combination thereof. capability to create, Master, and use Arcane technologies, often lost, or forgotten. While they oft do not have the precision of a high tech laser sniper rifle, or the ease of hurling a fireball. They make up for it in outright durability, Versatility, and destructive power.
Magitech is Not Really A Thing. According to Cynder, it exists but isn't used since technology in Lucis is incredibly low-tech and Earth's stuff is apparently just better. Anyway, from here on, just assume everything regarding magitech or advanced technology basically has a big *MAGITECH IS NOT LIKE THAT* or *LUCIS IS NOT THAT ADVANCED* stapled onto it.
His Primary weapon is Brahak, A magitech Scythe/Axe/Rifle (Assault, not sniper.) This axe is powered by both Leo's innate magic and a internal bank of Mana crystals which re-charge over time. the weapon itself can discharge the Mana in several ways, The first being a blast of concussive force over short distance, the second being energizing the rifle rounds to a specific magic type. the third is enhancing the weapon edge with a specific magic type, the fourth, and possibly most useful is in a 'mana catalyser' which generates ammunition for the rifle. there is also a 'Last Resort' device, called a Mana Bomb, it combines the principles of an Hydrogen bomb, with Mana, creating a hurled orb of condensed energy which detonates with enough force to obliterate a small town. The downside is this burns out most of the Mana crystals inside of it, Meaning they need replacing, The amount of destructive force can be reduced (and thus the damage to the mana crystals is also reduced)
Casting Pistol, As seen in his image, this pistol allows him to cast magic circles and thus actually use magic, the internals of it are unknown to all but himself, it has an alternate firing mode as a short range (five meter) wave gun which disrupts a targets brain function, knocking them out for a few hours.
Durain armour, This armour is a combination of Magic and technology, combining Hydrogen fuel cells with high power mana crystals allows for a conversion of Mana in to a transmittable, Usable force energy, Much like electricity, and also allows the conversion of Electricity in to mana, and vice versa. The armour itself contains dozens of different sub weapons, such as palm mounted Mana-cannons, a Chakra disruptor on one shoulder (Fantastic for disabling monks and Chi/Ki users). As well as technologically based weapons such as a small 2 shot shotgun under one wrist and a flamethrower under the other, Leo built it in combination with his Uncle and Grandfather, designing it to be a frontline mech suit style fighter unit. Though he's the only one with a copy, the prototype in fact. He's still working on it.
Okay, so there's a few problems here:
1) Mana crystals render being born a mage completely and utterly obsolete. They recharge the exact same way as natural mana, can change their alignment, and you can amass a crapload over time. So... Completely surpassing natural sources of mana.
2) Cynder doesn't like assault rifles in fantasy settings, which is what Lucis is.
3) Mana Bomb is a no. When you have a weapon that uses a hydrogen bomb as a measuring stick and can annihilate a town and only needs a simple reload to do again... Well, then you have a balance problem.
4) Please explain to me how a gun fires magic circles.
5) The alternate firing mode strikes me as less 'nonlethal' and more 'neurologically crippling' than anything.
6) Hydrogen fuel cells will blow you to shreds if anyone gets to them. Also, hydrogen cells, especially miniaturized, are not available at your local Lucismart.
7) Chakra/Chi/Ki = Mana. Not sure how your suit works if you have something that disrupts it. Also, it no-sells magic which is Not A Good Thing.
8) Lucisean power armor is Not A Thing.
Grandson of a greater entity and nephew to a inventor Leo found himself torn between two worlds, unable to chose, he learnt to blend them together. this brought the family together as well as causing interest from both his Uncle and Grandfather, Previously bitter towards one another, the two found a combined interest in Leo. This meant he grew up surrounded by not only ever changing technology and inventions, but ever growing magical power.
Inventor or not, Lucis doesn't get Earth-level tech unless you've stolen it or are part of the black market/a scientific institution. Hell, they barely understand phones.
And before anything is said, I doubt an inventor working for a scientific institute is going to give his nephew all the snazzy prototypes.
Due to the dual nature of leo's equipment and abilities he does not gain any specific strengths either, IE; Someone skilled at magic can use highly powerful and complex spells, or someone who as grown up surrounded by computers could be able to hack. Leo cannot do such things, He must rely on his own Arcane Technomancy and often cannot 'borrow' from others.
'Tis but a flesh wound' Leo is highly unconcerned about taking damage, because he believes it would be easy to recreate an arm or a leg with magic infused technology, or even create something that allows him to re-grow it (No this hasn't been tested yet). This makes him quite reckless sometimes. often the first to jump in to a fray even when outmatched.

MagiTech is not the imitation of one by the other, but the seamless blending of the two, The reason Leo has access to that (As I have said) is his Uncle is an inventor ect, I should have made this clear, but his Uncle is of Earth. That would be how he has access.

Size limits charge, Also they have a reuse limit, keep re-using a rechargeable battery and it will eventually break down. Same with these mana crystals. Also the crystals themselves are unaligned, its the technology within the axe that changes the alignment of the magic

I said uses the same tech as, Not that it was comparable to. also its called 'last resort' for a reason. as for 'simple reload' the mana crystals are embedded inside the axe and machinery, Meaning he would have to disassemble the entire thing, In combat. to replace its crystals. Also, it is of variable power, that is only if the mana crystals are at full charge, often this is used when they are almost out, so it'll do a lot less

Its not technically a gun, More a catalyst, Think of it like a wand. He cannot use magic on his own, though he has untapped stores of mana, (due to him being, well a Trifling). The 'gun' allows him to catalyse that mana in to actual spells.

Have you ever stood up and got head rush? the gun disrupts the electronic signals in your head, and does exactly the same thing as headrush but on a much grander scale, Thus knocking you out, It's only short range, and because doesn't damage the neurons or electronic pathways you get back up in a hour or so with nothing more than a headache, and probably a bruise if you fell in something.

Ah, I always felt that Chakra/chi/Ki was a internal alignment of your own energy flow to enhance ones attacks and defence (Think Monk), Where as Mana was the reaction of the release of internal energy occurring outside the body upon contact with external energy. However if in this Mythos they are one and the same I'll take it off. 'no-sells magic' I couldnt understand

Well, He's not going to be throwing fireballs or lightning bolts. Or summoning the dead. He's more likely to be using basic destructive magic such as bog-standard mana blasts, nor will he be happy to drive a tank or use a super advanced sniper rifle, he'd much prefer something like a revolver or flamethrower.

No, he can't understand EVERY tongue, however the most common magic ones, he can. and there isn't any really, its just a interesting tidbit, it has no actual 'power' Hence why its in the strange skills part.

I think that covers everything, I would have used a standard Battle cleric, but there was already a battle-mage and the two are far to similar. If the OP is hyper opposed to MagiTech's I'll just drop in a monk or a Bio-Weapon.

Depends, If someone yanks him back, he might get away with losing a hand, if no one does anything He'll probably end up either dead or just getting laughed at by the dragon, or ending up like the black knight. On average No. Thats why it such a weakness, he's so assured in his own ability to re-build himself he's highly uncaring about actual likelihood of survival.

He grew up on the East Coast of the United States, in the NY/NJ/CT tri-state area. It isn't quite known for sure how his incredible marksmanship came about (maybe to-be-discovered in story). However, his interest in cybernetics came about in his late teens, due to a pretty geeky sci-fi obsession. After his 18th birthday, he signed up in several research programs granting him the implants. It wasn't long before he realized how well they worked in tandem with his pre-existing skills, and honed them even further together. He's already been scouted by a few organizations, and has a few pretty-much guaranteed-jobs as a sniper (should he choose them) after he finishes his last year at the academy.
Appearance
I can't really find any good pictures that show what I'm going for, so I'll paint the beginning of a picture and you can fill in the blanks in your imagination.
He's white, with blue-grey eyes and dark brown hair. Short, tidy, but stylish. Strong chin/jawline, clean-shaven. On the taller-average side, about 6'3". Muscular, not huge, but it's fairly apparent he works out. The implants look something vaguely like Cyborg implants from SWTOR, having nothing better as a reference point. Ignore the large mouthpiece, and you'll get the idea.
Personality
He's generally a pretty laid-back guy. He likes to have fun, but he's got a strong work ethic thanks to his parents. He's got the makings of a good leader, but he prefers to stay out of the spotlight and let others take charge. He's straightforward and sometimes blunt, but knows when to keep his mouth shut. If he's really distracted, it will detract from his aim. That said, his shot wouldn't be too horrible thanks to some degree of dummy-proofing in the computers.

He has several cybernetic implants, specifically in his arms and hands, brain, eyes, and ears. They provide various upgrades (obviously nothing too major), such as increased vision, hearing, making him ambidextrous, etc. Incredibly gifted naturally, the systems in his implants increase his already-frightening marksmanship into almost pinpoint accuracy.
Due to the amount of time he spent perfecting his accuracy, he's slacked quite on practicing his magic. He's really only an average student there.

Two guns, a pistol and a revolver. The pistol is custom-made (for a 'classic' look, with modern weaponry capabilities), and is a gift from his father. The revolver is standard, but heavily modded for his personal use. He normally only uses one at a time, but he's certainly capable of gunslinging.
He owns a sniper rifle, but it doesn't see much use. Yes, he'd be able to maximize his efficiency with it, but he doesn't like carrying large guns around when he doesn't have to, preferring his lightweight and concealable handguns.

Short Biography
He grew up on the East Coast of the United States, in the NY/NJ/CT tri-state area. It isn't quite known for sure how his incredible marksmanship came about (maybe to-be-discovered in story). However, his interest in cybernetics came about in his late teens, due to a pretty geeky sci-fi obsession. After his 18th birthday, he signed up in several research programs granting him the implants. It wasn't long before he realized how well they worked in tandem with his pre-existing skills, and honed them even further together. He's already been scouted by a few organizations, and has a few pretty-much guaranteed-jobs as a sniper (should he choose them) after he finishes his last year at the academy.
Appearance
I can't really find any good pictures that show what I'm going for, so I'll paint the beginning of a picture and you can fill in the blanks in your imagination.
He's white, with blue-grey eyes and dark brown hair. Short, tidy, but stylish. Strong chin/jawline, clean-shaven. On the taller-average side, about 6'3". Muscular, not huge, but it's fairly apparent he works out. The implants look something vaguely like Cyborg implants from SWTOR, having nothing better as a reference point. Ignore the large mouthpiece, and you'll get the idea.
Personality
He's generally a pretty laid-back guy. He likes to have fun, but he's got a strong work ethic thanks to his parents. He's got the makings of a good leader, but he prefers to stay out of the spotlight and let others take charge. He's straightforward and sometimes blunt, but knows when to keep his mouth shut. In short: He's loose, but he doesn't take crap.
