Ororo Munroe || Storm

It had been three days since the first day of the academy had begun. She stood there with a smile as always and watched from the balcony of the stairs, eying the litter of kids below. Her eyes fixed themselves to the left of her just as Logan came up the stairs, saying hey. She said hey back just as he came and stood beside her, folding his arms over his chest. "So, what are you going to do?" He asked her, referring to the note that Storm had found when she was walking up the stairs to reopen the academy. Ororo shrugged her shoulders then looked at Logan. "I honestly don't know but I must keep these kids safe. With me, you, Hank, Bobby, Anna Marie and Kitty being the only X-Men left, we cannot do it alone." She sighed while rubbing the top of her head. "We need to recruit." Storm said as Logan raised a brow and nodded his head. "Hope you know what you are doing." He muttered then walked back down the stairs. Ororo was left in charge of the mansion now and she knew she had to do what was right.
Taylor & Tyler McDaniels || The Psych Twins

Taylor sat on the edge of his bed, doing a little bit of thinking early this morning. He ran his index finger over his eyes to rub the sleep out of them as he stood up. His eyes glanced over at his roommate, no one other than his brother, as he slipped out the door, closing it softly. Of course, Tyler wasn't really sleep as he sat up and stumbled out of bed, walking out of the room as well. He was right behind his brother as he started making objects float before him. "Tyler, I know that it is you." Taylor said while shaking his head with a huff.

"Oh, come on, brother, live a little." Tyler laughed while appearing by Taylor's side. They both walked down the stairs and entered the kitchen. Tyler told Taylor to sit down and he'll cook them up some breakfast. Taylor of course obeyed his younger sibling and sat down. Their eyes flashed at Logan, who were just entering the kitchen, scoffing at the twins. Taylor and Tyler raised a brow at each other then looked at Logan. "You guys know that I don't like you." Logan said while pouring himself a cup of coffee. "It's cool. The feeling very much mutual." Taylor responded just as Tyler laughed.

Logan slammed his mug down and pointed at them, snarling. "Listen to me, you piece of shi.." His eyes flashed at Ororo as she made her way into the kitchen as well. "Logan, I hope you were telling them the new rules of the academy." She spoke while walking over and reaching out to touch the eggs but they moved and Tyler spoke. "I got breakfast, Miss Munroe." He winked then she sat right beside Taylor, who felt that something was wrong and it vibrating right of Ororo. 'Something's wrong?' His voice echoed through Tyler's mind, who nodded his head.

"Everything okay, Miss Munroe?" Tyler asked her while finishing up breakfast and sitting a plate down in front of her and his brother. She nodded her head with a smile then pushed the plate back. "I am not hungry." She said then raised up from her seat, looking up at Logan. "Come with me to check on the kids." She then turned heel and walked out of the kitchen, followed by Logan. Taylor and Tyler looked at each other, shaking their heads.

Something was wrong and they both intended to find out what it was - One way or another. Tyler sat down next to his brother and started to eat on the small breakfast he had cooked for himself and his brother. "So, anybody caught your attention?" Taylor asked Tyler, shaking his head with a chuckle. "You?" Tyler countered the question back at Taylor. "No. Everyone here seem to be dumbasses." They both laughed and continued eating, wondering on what was in store for them today.

The sun dripped through the thick trees as morning peeked over the city. In the shallow woods surrounding the mansion, something was lurking. The creature slunk low to the ground, crouched on all fours as he watched the home and its students intently. The timid creature had clearly been out in the weather for a couple days: mud covered his feet, his hair was a mess, and his clothes were torn and dirty. A small cut on his cheek, probably from a tree branch, had a little dried blood on it.

The canine-like creature, as frightening as he may have appeared, was rather shy. He was too scared to leave the shelter of the trees and greets his new caretakers, or captors, whatever they may be. Most of them seemed nice enough. Some had come filtering into the woods in search of him, leaving food out so that he wouldn't go hungry. With his new found sense of smell, the creature could sniff out the offerings quite easily. But still, one could only live in the dingy, dark forest for so long. He found himself wondering just how hospitable these people were. Would they let him inside? Could he have new clothes? Take a bath? Would they be afraid or him, or hurt him like the people on the farm had?

The wolf man began to pace around, watching the school as he went over his options. His almost hairless tail lashed around behind him as he thought. He could either stay here, safe, fed, and somewhat uncomfortable, or he could go over there, try to make friends, and maybe find himself a new home. He paused, then slowly began to emerge from the trees. He stood right at the treeline for a few moments, then whimpered and slunk back into the safety of the shade. He wanted to try and go to the house, but something just kept him from it. The last people who had offered him a home had been cruel to him. They treated as a slave, harassed him because of his heritage, and had sold his horse, which had really been the only friend he'd had. Why would these people be any different?

The furry man went back to pacing, torn between being brave and exploring, or being a coward and staying put.

"We don't want you..! Haha. We don't want you in our family..!" A woman, man and two kids laughing at a young Tiffany while pointing at her, rain coming down from the sky, as the family dissapeared slowly.

Tiffany popped up from her sleep, thanking god that it was a nightmare, well it wasn't a nightmare because that's what she thought that happened. Her real family didn't want her or anything, so they decided to put her into care with two women, not that she complained or anything because she actually loves her adopted parents. The girl stood up from her bed, walking towards the bathroom, doing all that she had to do there, her hair, brushing teeth, taking a shower, girls stuff that they do. As she got out, Tiff noticed her roommate still sleeping. [To anyone who wants to room with me icly.] She didn't bother to wake her up because she barely knew the girl much. So she decided to go to the cafeteria to get something to eat.

The hallway was long and so many doors filled the hall. Tiffany walked down the stairs, she was wearing short high waisted jean pants, a white tanktop but it showed a bit of her stomach not much and her white converse shoes. Her hair was straight, like it usually is and so on. As she got into the cafeteria, she could already saw students talking and Logan and Storm leaving the kitchen. "Hm..." Tiff sighed making the line with the others students, grabbing a tray of food, it wasn't much because she didn't like to eat but today she was hungry and depressed. Alone.

The girl had no one around her, not her adoptive parents, her real parents don't give a shit about her and her brothers are probably far away from her having a good time in their lives. Tiffany walked to a table, empty ofcourse, like her life. As she sat down looking at her bananna and unpilling the skin, side to side, now taking a bite while looking around the kitchen munching the bananna. "Hm. Tiffany, if only you had atleast one friend..... I feel so alone." and that's when she noticed some boys looking at her, and winking while a guy was trying to impress her by using his powers, but failed because his power backfired. Tiffany giggled shaking her head, continuing to eat her fruit, wondering what was in store for today!

Zephyr lay in bed and pupulled her pillow over her head. She had been fortunate enough to get a single room but that didn't help much with the noise as people started to wake up. She moaned as the chatter started up full throttle. Throwing the pillow across the room she sat up and shoved her hair out of her face. Her blue eyes shone on the light she peeked through her blinds and she got out of her bed. She stretched side to side, touched her toes, then bent over backwards and grabbed her ankles before standing straight again; her thin, muscular frame always needed a morning stretch after a mostly sleepless night, she tended to tense up as she "slept" because of everyone's dreams.

Walking over to her closet that had a lot of variety in it. She grabbed a blue plaid, short sleeve button down then grabbed her jeans off the floor and a black tank - top from her dresser. Slipping out of her boy - short style pj bottoms and put on her jeans she then finished getting dressed. She brushed her hair then her teeth then she put on her shoes and walked out of her room. She put a hand to her temple as she felt a headache coming on already. Zephyr tried to ignore the other students and waved with a slight smile at Storm and Logan then went into the kitchen.

There were two young men in there when she entered and she tried to block them out. She grabbed a bag of bread, pulled out a couple pieces and popped them in the toaster. She stood there, hoping to avoid conversation, but jumped when the toaster popped. "Damn it." She wished she could read inanimate objects... scratch that, no she didn't. She grabbed the toast, buttered it, grabbed some oj and sat on the counter to eat.

Taylor & Tyler McDaniels || The Psych Twins

Taylor eyes looked at the girl entering the room and raised a brow at her. Tyler lifted his hand up and waved at her with a smile. They both continued to stare at her while eating, hoping she would engage in some sort of conversation with them - But nothing. 'Bitch.' Taylor thought to Tyler, who nodded his head again in agreement. When the female jumped at the popping of the toaster, Taylor and Tyler couldn't help but laugh as she sat on the counter. "You know, chairs are made to be sitting in, not the counter." Tyler injected while walking over towards the sink, placing his dishes in there and staring at the girl with a smirk. His eyes looked at Taylor as he also stood up. Tyler had every right to pour the girl's own orange juice over her head but fought the temptation off, thanks to Taylor.

They both laid their eyes upon the girl now as they turned heel and left the kitchen, going into the dining hall where it was buzzing with fellow mutants. Taylor saw a pair of mutants use their ability to torture a new student then looked over at Tyler, who walked over there and grabbed the boys by their necks. "This is a safe institute, be nice or get lost." He said while walking past them now and kneeling down in front of the cornered little girl. "Come on out. I'm not going to hurt you." When she stepped out of the corner, he wiped her tears away then smiled. "Tell me, what is your name?" The terrified little girl pulled out a notebook and wrote her name down. "Ah, such a pretty name Brooke."

Tyler lifted himself up and extended out for the little girl to grab but when she did, it seemed like it had stunned Tyler as he groaned then collapsed on the ground. "Tyler!" Taylor voice roared as he rushed over towards him, staring at the little girl. "What did you do?" She apologized repeatedly then ran out of the dining hall, passing Hank in the process. All of the new students feasted their eyes upon him as he was kind of use to it by now. He walked over towards Taylor and Tyler and flipped Tyler over and gave his chest a light tap then pressed down as hard as he could.

Tyler eyes shot open as he gasped then sat up, coughing a little bit. "What happened?" Hank asked him as he looked at him. "She stunned me somehow." Hank and Taylor lifted him up to his feet, just as Ororo came into the dining hall, wondering what had just happened. Taylor and Tyler looked at Hank with worried looks as he shrugged his shoulders, responding to their facial expressions. Taylor looked at Tyler as he felt a familiar presence overcome him.

Taylor looked at Ororo and placed a hand on her shoulder. "I sense that something is wrong." She looked up at him with a soft smile then shook her head. "Nothing is wrong, Taylor. You may be a Telepath but you cannot sense everything." She turned around and walked away from him as he went back to his brother's side, raising a brow. "Something's up." Tyler nodded his head while stumbling over towards the nearest table, where a female eating a banana sat. Taylor and Tyler gasped then Hank raised a brow, looking at Tiffany. "It's okay, they do that around all the pretty girls." Hank laughed while leaving the premises.

Sleep was always quick to find Aya, but slow to release her from its grasp. With a small groan, she buried herself into her fluffy comforter and tried to deny the fact that she was awake. Sadly, her struggle was for naught. Finally giving in after twenty minutes of trying to go back to sleep, Aya let her eyes slide open. She yawned, and rolled out of bed, beginning her morning routine.

After she was changed, her hair was presentable, and her teeth were brushed, Aya crept into the hallway, careful not to wake her roommate. Walking into the grand kitchen, she plucked an apple out of a basket of fruit and listened as several names were called over the intercom. Curiosity nagged at her, but it wasn't Aya's place, she knew. With a sigh, she tossed the apple in the air once and walked out of the kitchen, unsure of what to do with her day. It was beautiful out – the sky was clear and blue, the sun was bright, and if she looked out at the forest lining the mansion's perimeter, she could see leaves rustling in a light breeze.

Decision made, Aya peeked back into her bedroom to grab a book and her iPod off of her bedside table and made her way out into the forest. She stopped a little ways past the first line of trees, far enough in that she couldn't see the mansion, but not so far that she'd lose her way back. Plopping down to lean against a tree, she set her apple and book down to work out the tangles in her headphones. Aya's fingers paused, however, when she heard the snap of a twig.

Aya felt her heart stop for a moment. Glancing around, she saw no one in her immediate vicinity and tried desperately to calm herself down, telling herself it was just a deer or another student who had the same idea as her. But still…

Aya closed her eyes and breathed in slowly. It was probably nothing. There were no predators living in the area, and if it was a student then… well, she was supposed to be working on making friends, right? Aya exhaled and opened her eyes. Nothing at all. And yet, she couldn't make her heart rate slow down. Clenching her fists in her lap, earphones long forgotten, she knew a simple solution to this. She could just investigate. The thought of using her power still disquieted her, but the professor had always said that her abilities were nothing to be afraid of. Years of keeping it a secret had left her hesitant to use them at all, but she couldn't just pretend they weren't there – she was at Xavier's School for the Gifted, after all.

Mind made up, Aya closed her eyes again and felt her spirit detach from her body, a thin string of consciousness connecting them. Now in the form of an projection, she turned to where she'd heard the sound and walked forward. The fact that she was both invisible and intangible didn't ease her nervous heartbeat, but she moved forward regardless. She could do this. It was probably nothing.

This line of thought was promptly killed when she finally found the source of the noise. There, hidden in the shadow of the forest, was a hulking creature, a thin layer of fur covering its skin. His face was more animal than human, fangs clearly visible in his mouth and an elongated, almost canine snout. With a gasp, Aya snapped back into her body.

Definitely not nothing, she thought, mind frantic.

It was then with a jolt that Aya remembered where she was. Mutant Mansion, she'd once heard a student say. The creature in the woods was probably just another student like her… she hoped. It was this thought that made Aya stand on shaky legs, belongings forgotten on the forest floor, and walk to the creature in the woods. She let her foots fall on crunching leaves so that whoever it was would know she was approaching. It was probably a student, but she also wasn't looking to startle something with fangs and claws that sharp.

"Uhm… hi," she said when she was finally before him, her voice a frail thing in the forest air.

Now floating up and down
I spin, colliding into sound
Like whales beneath me diving down
I’m sinking to the bottom of my
Everything that freaks me out
The lighthouse bean has just run out
I’m cold as cold as cold can be

Blue October blasted in Audrey’s ears through small ear buds that hardly ever left the sides of her face. She’d been working out in the basement for 30 minutes at least so far. Long enough to have a light sheen of sweat cover her body anyway. She continued punching the bag in front of her until the song ended, an uppercut to seal the deal before pushing it away from her panting form. She walked over to the mirrors against the wall, grabbing her water bottle she’d set on the floor and chugging it. Her hazel eyes caught a glimpse of herself in the mirror. Honey hair, messy and short… black sports bra and some black baggy sweats with her tennis shoes and she didn’t know whether she could pull off sporty, or if she just looked rough.

She closed the bottle and set it back down clumsily, having glove weights on her hands. She sighed and looked around at the other equipment before shaking her head. I really should be more social… other people are up by now surely, she thought to herself, ripping off the gloves and tossing them. Another song had started, and Audrey was beginning to hold onto a lot of stored sonic energy. She put a hand up and filled the room with a large blast of light that permeated almost to the halls outside the room, before letting it fade. ”There,” she breathed heavily, leaving the comfort of metal bars and whirring machines for the cold hallways of the manor.

Audrey managed to get to her room without running into too many people, showering and changing into something more ‘socially appropriate’ she supposed. Some hole filled flare jeans and a black cami. She left her hair wet, not bothering to dry it or put on makeup, as she left her room once more, music player tucked in her pocket. She always had it on her, afraid the one time she didn’t, something terrible would happen. It was her life line basically. And though she’d been at the school for 6 months already, she’d yet to even explain that to anyone but teachers really. Some students were friendly enough, but most were bags of emotional scar tissue that couldn’t get past their own hang ups enough to say hi.

”Protein shake.” she said aloud to herself, reminding her to go get something to eat post workout while she began down the hall to the kitchen.

Lee starred in awe at the mahogany red bricked mansion that he would now live in. The trees rustled in the wind making leaves flutter in the wind landing on the ground near his feet. Lee continued to take in the scenery around him before it would become boring to him. He turned and studied the large statue memorial of a lady who's name was Jean. Satisfied he turned back to the mansion starring at the large double doors Lin front of him, torn between either leaving all together or manning up and walking in.

"This is the place that I have running away from my whole life" Lee mumbled to himself sadly. His family for some reason had hated this place, thinking that it was a family destroyer. That reasoning had followed him for the most part of his life until he made the decision for himself. The wind blew Lee's hair into his eyes, "Can't avoid this forever" he said to himself finally deciding that it was time to start his first day of school.

Lee walked up the stairs, leaves crunching underfoot, the same ones that had been blown there by the wind. He placed a nervous hand on the knob, taking a deep breath and asking for forgiveness from his parents he opened the door into the mansion. He paused,"What" Lee yelled sarcastically to himself, " No trumpets no parade in my honor..not even a teacher to show me around, some school this is" Lee said out loud. He dropped his duffle bag on the floor next to his feet and fixed his hair, pulling the sleeves down on his black leather jacket, readying himself to meet who ever would give him the tour of the school.

He stood there for about 3 minutes before his inpatients got the best of him. He decided to take matters into his own hands and started to explore the mansion uninvited. His adventures eventually led him to the kitchen door. Before he he walked in he took another deep breath, and opened the door.

The creature had worn a bare spot on the forest floor with his pacing, still undecided. He had to do something. He couldn't just stay out here! But if he left the school, he left his only chance of survival behind. He couldn't go back to living on the streets; he just couldn't. He was in a strange country, in a strange body that he was pretty sure wasn't his own. After he had turned into this...thing, the poor man had yet to figure out how to change back. What if he was stuck like this forever?

He was pulled from his thoughts when he heard footsteps approaching. The smell of human blew through the wind, striking his sensitive nose. The man froze and looked off into the forest, searching for her. His golden eyes had a faint glow to them in the shadows. His instincts told him to run and hide, but his human curiosity got the better of him. The wolf man turned and bolted to the nearest tree, using his sharp claws to climb up the trunk and huddle among the leaves. He peered down as a young woman walked into view. She seemed to have known exactly where to find him, much to the man's confusion. He would have known if someone was watching him, wouldn't he? She called out to him, and for a moment, he considered not responding. But before he could stop himself, words slipped out of his mouth.

"Hello," He said softly from the branches, his accent thick. He hunkered down, ears flat, almost as startled by his own words as she may be. What if she saw him and ran away? He couldn't even blame her.

Aya started when the mutant bounded into the trees, but paused when she heard his voice. It was a rumbling thing, stained with an animalistic growl and heavy with some accent she couldn't place, but it was as fragile as her own. Forcing her shaking legs to stay rooted in the ground, Aya opened her mouth again and, careful to make her voice at least a little stronger she said, "I'm Aya."

This creature… this person, whoever he was, seemed as nervous as she was. Aya couldn't see him clearly in the shadow of the branches, but she already knew what he was hiding. Was he afraid of her seeing him? Or just afraid of her? "Uhm… are you ok?" she asked, still timid. "I uhm… I don't think I recognize you." This wasn't saying much since she could count the number of people she personally knew in the mansion on her two hands… including her professors. "Are you new?" Aya vaguely recalled some hubbub about professors looking for someone in the forest. She had a feeling this was him.

Taylor & Tyler McDaniels || The Psych Twins

After the sudden feeling of a very strong presence came over them both, Taylor spoke that he was going to get his brother a bottled of water. Tyler nodded his head then turned towards the female, eating the banana. "So, why are you sitting here all alone?" He asked her in a soft tone. "You should mingle with your fellow mutants." He laughed at his words then raised a brow at the female. "You felt something too, didn't you?" He asked her while tilting his head to the side.

Taylor entered the kitchen and grabbed a bottle of water, closing the fridge and raising a brow at a blonde headed male. "I haven't seen you around here before." Taylor cliched the water in his hand a little bit. "Are you new here?" Taylor asked him with a raised brow As he sent a message to his brother. 'Intruder Alert. Kitchen now.' Tyler instantly got the message and raised his index finger up at the female he was talking to. "Oh, uhm, excuse me." With that said, Tyler immediately raised up from his seated position and went to the kitchen.

Taylor stared at the male then eyed his brother as he entered the kitchen. "Ah, what have we here, dear brother. An intruder among us." Tyler injected himself with his arms folded over his chest, brow raised slightly. "Normally, we would take matters into our own hands but you should follow us to Headmistress Munroe's office." With that being said, Taylor and Tyler turned heel, hoping that the male knew to follow them. "What is your name anyhow?" Tyler asked him without looking back to face him.

If the male continued to follow them, they would bring him into the office and sit him down. "An intruder. Probably working for The New Brotherhood." Taylor snapped just as Ororo waved Taylor and Tyler away. With head nods, they both walked out of the office and stood against the door, placing their ears upon the wood, listening to what Ororo was going to say to him.

Zephyr tried to ignore comments the twins made. Bitch they had said. Maybe they were right, but she didn't feel like fighting. In fact, in the past few weeks she still hadn't really felt like she was welcome. It was more than likely that she just hadn't made much of an effort to assimilate. She watched the twins leave and finished her toast and juice before standing up and cleaning up the kitchen and dishes she and the boy's had made, wanting to do something, anything to keep busy. She could sense someone new enter the house, and wander, then come towards the kitchen. A blonde young man had entered but it wasn't long before Tyler and Taylor came in and ushered him off. She could tell that they were suspicious of him, but she couldn't read anything about him that they should be suspicious of.

Running out of things to do and feeling it was time to be done with her antisocial behavior for the day, Zeph left the kitchen for the cafeteria. She wasn't really friends with any one there yet other than some of the teachers. She waved at Hank then found an empty table to sit at. Sitting there she tried to focus on particular thoughts. "I can't believe that girl did that to Tyler. She should know better." Searching thoughts she was able to piece together what had happened through memories and she stifled a giggle. "What's up with Storm? She seems off." others seemed to be worried about Ororo and the school. Zeph wasn't sure if she should investigate that or not... no, she should try to give Ororo her privacy.

Zeph closed her eyes now, trying to see if she could shut it off. Focus. Focus. Focus. Damn. she said slamming a palm on the table in frustration and opening her eyes. That didn't work/. She looked around nervously as she noticed that some of the younger kids stared at her. She kind of felt like a fox in a hen house in this school. There were plenty of older students like her, but that didn't make it any less weird to be here. Zeph pulled her hair over one shoulder and sighed What is that chicks problem? she heard someone think. Lots of things. she thought to herself. Noticing Tiffany she smiled and waved. She had to be friendly to someone.

Cold.

She woke up with a small girlish screech as she shot up from the comfort of her bed, drenched in cold icy water. Her ice blue eyes narrowed into a deathly glare as she met the gaze of her oh-so-lovable brother who stood at the foot of her bed with a bored expression and a bucket in his hands. She would have reached out and slapped him upside the face… if she could reach – but that sounded like a whole lot of effort. So instead, her features relaxed into a blank stare and she fell back onto her now wet sheets, staring up at the ceiling for a moment before closing her eyes once more; she mumbled an incoherent “five more minutes” before she slowly allowed herself to fall into an unconscious state once more.

Chris stared at his sister with a frown as he watched her go back to sleep… that girl could sleep through anything. With a dismissive raise of his eyebrows, he dropped the bucket and yanked the blanket back, exposing her pale foot. He glanced up at his sister for a moment before rolling his eyes and wrapping his hand around her ankle. He paused for a moment before he yanked swiftly, ripping her from her blankets and comfortable mattress.

She hit the ground with a small yelp followed by a thud – her gaze lifted to meet Chris as he towered over her, his arms folded over his chest as his blue eyes scrutinised her. A small pout befell her features as she sulked,

“What was that for?”

“We’re going for a run,” she huffed like a small child as she folded her arms over her chest, shivering slightly due to wet pyjamas – Chris simply turned away and exited the room before calling one command over his shoulder,

“Be ready in five or I’ll come in and force you to get ready.”
It was warm and the breeze was blowing gently, sweeping across the grass as he laid upon it, staring at the sky with closed eyes; no noise, no teens running frantically around the place… this was nice. A small frown tugged at his features as he heard the all too familiar voice groan as it drew nearer. Why couldn’t they just leave him alone?

“We’ve been running for so long! I don’t want to do this anymore!”

His eyebrow twitched as he heard their footsteps stop not even a metre away from him. He heard Arina collapse to the ground, trying to catch her breath. He cracked an eyelid open to look up at Christopher who stared down at his sister with a bored expression… A typical day for the siblings.

“You’re pathetic.”

“Your mother’s pathetic!”

“We have the same mother…”

“Doesn’t make her any less pathetic...”

A small whine came from the girl who was now sitting cross legged, her childish demeanour never faltering. With a sigh, Pachid summed up that with these two handing around, he was no longer going to get the peaceful morning he so desired. His deep green eyes narrowed into a slight glare for the moment as he stared between the two, but even the grudge was too much effort to hold – so he simply sighed and looked back towards the manor.

“Do you two ever stop arguing?”

Arina turned back to look at him with a grin, which signified a definite no. He couldn’t tell whether they liked each other or despised each other half the time. The two fought like no tomorrow… it was so tiresome. He sighed and fell onto his back once more, staring at the clouds. Arina stared up into the sky with him, her hand raising slowly to point at a fluffy white cloud,

“That one looks like you, Pachid!”

He frowned as his gaze found the one she was pointing at – it was a big white blob in the sky… it look no shape. He rolled his eyes for a moment before relaxing completely, he was comfortable around the two of them. They had taken a liking to him when they arrived at the school, and ever since then – they had been impossible to shake… always showing up when he wanted to rest.

“Arina, I’ll make you a deal,” his ears perked up as Christopher’s words cut through the air – he glanced at the troublesome man or a moment before looking back at Arina who cocked her head to the side as she stared up at her brother; indicating she was listening.

“A sparring match,” she raised an eyebrow at him, “We can stop running if you spar with me…”

Pachid stared at Arina for a moment, watching her ponder over the offer. He could see her features change with every action, thought and consequence that ran through her mind – her expression allowing him to read every thought. It wasn’t often she allowed herself to show so much emotion – most of the time, one couldn’t tell if she was thinking about joining the Brotherhood or wanting to ride a pony…

“No powers.” her voice was oddly high and she sounded like a five year old as she frowned up at him, and he smirked, folding his arms over his chest,

“Alright, no powers.”

It's not that Tiffany didn't like to be social, because she loves to talk to people, meeting new people and being a social person, it's just that she felt betrayed by her family and alone. So she decided not to talk to much people around. Tiffany started to notice some twin brothers, calling someone a bitch? It was part of Tifanny's telepathic abilities, she could only read people's minds and talk to them through there, nothing else. Tiffany earned these abilities due to her real family, it was a possibility that her family was a mental powered family, their abilities came from their minds.

Tifanny looked up seeing one of the twin brothers talking to her, she rose an eyebrow looking into his eyes, something was telling her that he looked very familiar, but she didn't actually know what was it. "Ummm..... I'm just not in the mood to be making friends and stuff now. My stupid family, abandoned me." she said taking her bottle of water and sipping it before nodding. "Yes, I did feel that...." Tiffany stood up and decided to follow Tyler whereever he was going. Ofcourse she didn't want to miss anything. Tiffany looked at the intruder. Who was thi guy? And that's when the brothers took the Intruder towards Storm's office. "You guys are such evesdroppers. Get out of the doorway." she rolled her eyes crossing her arms close to her chest, while walking away from the twin brothers.

Mornings. Pandora didn't love or detest them.
Of course, she hated waking up in the morning and trying to sleep once more; and failing miserably. She hated how the weather was abnormally cold and she shivered even when buried in bedsheets. However, she enjoyed having some time to herself before she was barraged by everybody and everything. So now she'd spring out of bed (with a rough 10 minute space between waking up and the bed-springing), get herself dressed and go jogging.

She usually circled the whole academy, not minding the small obstacles in her path and just phase through them. Well, that's what Professor Pryde calls what she does, phasing. Pandora wanted a unique name however, as she was constantly pestered about being a "Kitty Pryde" wannabe. It's like everyone believes she chose her mutation. Idiots.

She'd circle the academy roughly ten times and it'd take her an hour and a half before she'd finish. By now students are already flowing out onto the patches of grass in the school gardens, and that was Pandora's cue to leave. Although she wasn't aware that she recieved any male attention, it didn't make her any less self-conscious about being caked in her own sweat. It grossed her out.

She'd jump in a shower and initiate a hardcore procrastination session. Even though she had decided she hated the morning chill she strangely always submitted herself to an equally as cold chill in the shower. She tried to reason that it was because she needed it, whilst when waking up she doesn't. At all. The shower usually takes 30 minutes but that morning Pandora really exerted herself to 45.

Her next stop on her morning routine would be the kitchen, where she'd usually eat light. Snacks like chocolate, chips, cookies, and drinks like soda, water, and milk. It varied depending on her mood. She never normally lingered long there and was heading back to her dorm when she passed Ororo's - otherwise known as Storm - office and saw the two troublesome twins. She sometimes saw them about but from the top of her head couldn't recall ever having a actual conversation with them. She stopped to observe them pressing their ears up against the door anyway, and wondered if they had some absurd belief that Storm was naked. In her office. Then she realised that if this was the case the fact they were listening would be almost redundant.
"Do you mind telling me what you're doing?" She inquired with a brief five second delay that involved observation beforehand.
Who was called what, again?

Zephyr was disappointed when she saw Tiffany get up and leave. So much for that effort. Effort, yeah, that's what that was. She stood and went to her room, grabbed her leather jacket and then left the mansion to walk around for a bit. It didn't really quiet things down much, but the bigger space at least meant that things could filter out more and they weren't quite as loud as they were in the house.

She observed some people jogging laps around the house, I should pick up running again. As she continued her walk she saw a brother sister duo. She knew they were older, as was their friend, so she wasn't sure how she felt about them, nor did she really know them all that well. She had heard stories, she had read thoughts, but she still didn't know much about them.

She walked a bit more then sat on a stone bench that was probably about 100 yards from the duo and friend. She tried to remember their names. Christopher was the brother she believed, Aria.. no Arina was the sister, then there was... Pachid? Yeah, that was it. She smiled a little. At least she could get names down pretty well. She sat Indian style on the bench, she didn't have anything to do since she wasn't in classes or one of the X-men so she had spent the past couple weeks just chilling, trying to get a handle on her powers, to no avail. She decided to try shutting it off again, maybe this time it would work.

Closing her eyes again and sitting up straight, she breathed deeply and exhaled through her mouth. "Breathe Zeph. Just breath. Focus on shutting everything out. You are the only one around. Your's is the only mind speaking." she breathed and continued her mantra in her head.

Lee looked around the kitchen in awe, it was amazing, nothing like Lee had ever seen before. His kitchen was also his bathroom, which was also his bedroom, so he never really trusted the food that he ate. Lee was just about to sit on one of the high chairs that were placed near the counter when a man with black hair walking into the room.

Lee watched him wearily, but the man seemed not to care. The he grabbed a bottle of water and turned to Lee "I haven't seen you around here before; are you new here?" Lee looked at him and replied "Yeah, just got here, I was looking for a welcome committee but unfortunately there was none".

As Lee answered the man's question another man walked in, for some reason he looked exactly like the other."Ah, what have we here, dear brother. An intruder among us." the second man said, folding his arms across his chest, brow raised slightly. "Normally, we would take matters into our own hands but you should follow us to Headmistress Munroe's office." And with that whey left, probably expecting him to follow them,"What is your name anyhow?" they asked him. Lee looked at him once again, exasperated " The names Lee of the gods" he said jokingly, and he began to follow them to the Headmistress room.

Audrey was headed for the kitchen when she almost ran into the twins, Taylor and Tyler. She had met them since attending the academy and found them nice enough she supposed. She waved with a friendly smile, though there seemed to be someone behind them. As they passed, the new guy followed, causing Audrey to just tilt her head and watch for a moment. ”Be careful, they might take you to the … experimentation room,” she winked, though her tone had attempted to sound ominous.

She grinned and turned away from them and went into the kitchen, finding it empty of other students. She shrugged and grabbed her milk and jumped a few times to grab her powder off the top of the fridge. She didn’t want anyone getting ahold of it honestly, though plenty could. Then again, most by now knew she was friendly and happy, but not to mess with her either. She mixed it up and put everything back, leaning her backside against one of the counters and drinking up, mind running to the hustle and bustle of students that would be going in and out of classes today. Sometimes she attended classes, sometimes not. More often than not, she stuck to just training exercises where she learned how to use her power. During her homeschooling, she’d gotten all the way to college courses so she didn’t exactly need the other subjects.

Audrey wiped the back of her hand across her mouth and sighed, feeling rather lonely despite the day having just started. So, to perk herself back up, she pulled out her music and began listening once more, leaving the kitchen and roaming the hallways, where she began dance bombing kids on their way to class, causing those behind them and a few teachers some giggles.

The girl saw him. She seemed scared, or maybe just shy, but she wasn't running away. The man slowly began to relax and ease down out of the tree. One furry paw-like foot came down and gingerly felt the ground beneath him before the rest followed. The stood in a sheepish manner, unsure of himself and obviously so.
"I'm Yoska," He said, not quite looking her in the eye. "I'm...sort of new." He'd been there a couple days, but he had yet to actually step foot inside the house. Or talk to anyone.

Yoska lifted a hairy hand to scratch the back of his head. "Sorry...If I scared you. I...will not mean to." His English wasn't really the best.
