Before he could notice, an alp was already standing before him and spoke to him. His bloodshot eyes glared, stared at the tough-looking alp before him. "Don't get close,I beg you, I don't want to hurt anyone, go away!" He could barely shout in agony. His heart raged, his bloodthirst intensified, he was already on the edge of his sanity.

Vindle stretched a little and walked over to the tree, not knowing of Ruby on the top. He leaned against the tree and stared out into the ocean."The surface is a pretty scary place." he said to himself, recalling the last few incidents he had in the past few days.


Hearing something below her, Ruby looked down to see someone at the bottom of the tree. Despite being quite shy, she wanted to listen to what the person was talking about. She leaned down, though a bit scared to do so in case she fell, and wrapped her tail around the branch for a bit of support. Though, this made the leaves rustle loudly as she leaned down further to listen.

Vindle heard someone in the tree and he looked up, seeing a girl in it. He jumped back, but fell in the process.
"Woah!" Vindle said, standing up and brushing sand off of himself. He walked back over to the tree and looked up again; "How'd you get up there?" he said after a slight pause.

When she was noticed, Ruby quickly retreated into the leaves again, only poking her head out of the brush to look at the boy below the branches. "C-Climbing." Ruby says in reply to his question. "Obviously." She stares at the boy shyly, staying in the tree. She was too shy to have a proper conversation with him. She was too scared in case she fell out of the tree to climb down anyway.

Kevin walked out of a bakery located in the city nibbling on a donut. He's home was pretty far but he had a special way of getting there. James slowly sat up. "Ow...that one hurt a little..." he mumbled. He then looked around. "Oh hi..." he said to the others in the yard, slowly scooting backwards. He then looked at the girl that asked to scan him. "No. No scanning, and no DNA samples. Most of the facts about my race are bullshit, and I would like to keep it that way. As long as the humans think their stupid 'Guardians' and dragons slayers are stronger than us, they won't cower in fear."

The man before him really did seem to be on edge. Of course, that wouldn't stop the demon so easily. Masilalt didn't move any closer to them, but didn't back up. He was trying to figure out what exactly they were, they didn't smell like a human, and gave off a weird feeling. Did they even have a soul? "Any damage you could cause me would be insignificant. Tell me, what do you need? We could work something out." They looked desperate for something.

Zaina frowns at him and said "But are you sure? I have to know the origin of all life.." Her expression changed and her eyes flashed blue. "Very well..I repect our decision."

"Eh? Amazing, so these really can support humans. Nothing in the sea is like trees; I have to swing coral to coral, can't stay on a single one for long or else it'll give out." Vindle said, pushing on the trunk of the tree.
"Oh, yeah, I'm Vindle. Vindle Zaden. And you are?" he said.
