The hacking is after they are dead and its to get intelligence about the enemy not to hurt the enemy mech it isn't a system takeover. The railgun is to solidify it in a fight against heavy mechs as well, but I will remove it if you want the plasma cutters are pretty nasty against heavies at short range anyway.

Micro missiles are for light armor, the smallest of mechs and infantry. Against full sized mechs, he'd rely on the squad's other mechs to take it out.

The Scorpio's Hadron Cannon and Blaze Luminous also greatly concerns me, Loki. Drall, as long as it's only hacking downed mechs to gather intelligence, it's fine by me. The railgun though still has to go. Viet, that's fine, so long as those missiles aren't capable of destroying medium mechs through a direct hit.

As for speed, I wasnt sure what was feesible. Physics aren't my strong suit.

Are you guys still debating my Mech can do this and that? Heres a little something this rp hasn't yet started for one. So no need to formulate plans and character development unless its your char only, so if you would please stop blowing up chat and either take ur pissing match to pm or don't say anything so when the GM does return he can read CS' without having to wade through a pile of shit.

Love of God, the above isn't unexpected. Loki, no need to offend here, but your character frankly takes the piss. It isn't just the Mech, it's all of it. The character's multiple battles...I mean, a 25 year old happens to be more than experienced than some 37 year olds in this RP, and there as was aformentioned, was no major conflicts. I'd say that your character needs a massive overhaul, and while I'm not the GM, I'd sure as hell not accept that character in that state if I was. It's the arrogance- you shouldn't be surprised right now, I'd be very willing to re-write the whole thing- the Mech in itself is just too OP, and I can't believe that Caspian, even in 2058, would be a real character. The approach I understand means that we are walking into a far more sci-fi area, but in itself, I couldn't take them as real. I'd understand if you were new, and I hope you tell me this is the case- but otherwise, even if this was a two minute job (and I mean, a lot of people I know would be able to in that time do a far better job of creating a character that has a fucking depth and equipment that seems to make logical sense for the time period- not a far future rather than near future appearance of mechs). I don't want you to feel offended, but I feel that this is the best way of putting it across. or otherwise I simply won't be able to say what I genuinely feel.

I mean, this RP has incredible potential. RPs like this take a lot of effort and time. There's a original take to the universe. I mean, my RPs can't even go that far sometimes, and I feel that if done correctly, it's a RP that will last well. So that's my two cents.

The reason why I have twin 150mm canons is for long distance shelling and blanket firing, also they are forward mount only on a Y-axis swivel meaning they must pointed at the target, also the Patton is much larger than a tank so sizing up the guns is natural however if they are to I will down size. They are useless for taking down enemy mechs unless they are my size (thus having guns capable of doing the same) Or are unable to move for some reason.

If you don't know, then go with the basics. This is an early part of the conflict you don't need this high power shit early on Mechs are mean't to be suppourt not walking one man armies that are armed to take out nations. So i can see some of this shit being added when the war escalates.

Being the sniper is a pretty big job... lol, its more than just killing baddies, its providing overwatch, keeping an eye on your team, keeping tabs on the enemy, making sure we all stay alive. If you really want something else to do, maybe give him surveillance equipment to listen in on enemy intelligence

ok so I don't remember anyone having anything that was "one man walking army made to take out nations" except maybe the pattons ULTRA gun, but if the GM wants to discuss what people were going to put on their mechs I don't think that it should be up to criticism. Such as I had a railgun to deal with heavy mechs with a substantial cooldown and charge up, however the GM felt it was OP so I removed it. That is perfectly reasonable stage of getting CS's approved so I don't see what the problem is.

have him be a sniper/ mech tagger. Give him some kind of lasering device and have him spot targets for the patton's big ass guns.

The problem is you guys say your done but you just add more and more weapons and equipment. Instead of adding more weapons ask yourself "How can my pilot reflect on my mech or vice versa." So let's say your guy grew up in the big city used to run with bikers. Maybe he paints his biker gangs patch on the mech or a flame decal. Add on little shit to flesh out your Mech and or character. Not big ass cannons and laser swords.
