And from Ray's point of view, Shouta is nothing more than a drunken bully who likes showing off his strength (at the moment anyway, once he calms down he might think otherwise). Besides, Ray was a little more drunk than he cared to be and he never cared about being judged anyway. Ray is reacting a bit immaturely to the criticism of his friends, but that just ties into his character, where he (accidentally) killed someone just because they bumped into each other.

Overall, I tried getting Ray to do something that Shouta would notice. Not the result I expected, but I can roll with it. I thought it was cool. *Shrug*

Well, at least we're all in the same boat with our poor reviews.
*Waits for someone to see what he did there.*

Ahahahahah what in the world was that video Grothnor. What's retribution looked like a MOBA.

I met a pirate on halloween at work actually don't know if that counts or not. It was pretty good actually, hat, clothes the whole thing.
I haven't finished soul eater but my friend told me the ending wasn't that good, actually made me hesitate in finishing it, then I watched something else.

Luro leaving a good impression....hmmm...that's like playing Russian roulette with three bullets instead of one, three out of six times it's going to end badly. I would have been surprised if he left a good one.

Also I see what you did there Grothnor, accepted.

And the next cycle, I say we wrap up the Brass Cape arc and be off on our way to the next island. Sounds good?

Retribution is a standalone expansion to Dawn of War 2, an RTS set in the Warhammer 40,000 universe. Also known as Warhammer 40k, WH40k or just 40k, it is your standard fantasy universe placed in a dystopian sci-fi setting. Someone made a playlist of the Ork Campaign, cutting out extraneous gameplay and highlighting the story and dialogue. The other factions are rather serious, but the ork lines are hilarious, even more so because these orks are pirates. Here are some links to a concise summary of WH40k's backstory and a link to the playlist aforementioned.

All I did for Halloween was go to a party with some friends. It was a nice small party (about 6 people, and almost all previously acquainted) and we watched a few horror movies that weren't that scary. I didn't dress up because I didn't have anything to dress up as.

No problem! And I watched Nightmare Before Christmas because I mean, scariest movie ever. Pssh. Then I watched the newest Nightmare on Elmstreet, which I think is funny. Then some other movies that weren't that scary. Because I don't like scary movies anyway. I think I've seen the first Insidious.

As for parties. Nah. Movies are the way to go.

Announcement!
So it's been a week or two, maybe even three without the lack of a notice from Banba. So, it's unfortunate to say, with such a small group, that she is out. Danny will be an NPC for the time being so everyone can use her if need be.




With that being said, I'd appreciate notices as to if you'll be missing days and cycles like that. It's just a reminder, and you've been doing a good job thus far. I understand school and jobs and life come first, but there's only so many cycles you can miss before you become dead weight. Hopefully the remainder of our crew will stay in tact. And with the way our story is going currently, I won't be able to accept any new crew members for awhile.


So, it is going to be a fairly small crew. With a party of five. We can make that work, right?

Also! Speaking of how the story is currently going, I'm excited for the next phase. It's going to be quite dangerous adventurous.

And, also post reminder. Annd that's it for my GM announcements.

Thank you for the information Grothnor I know what Warhammer is so that helped.

I haven't seen Insidious, and I love horror movies I was going to watch one with a friend but I have to hold sadly. So nothing so far his sister watches the Nightmare Before Christmas so that's where I saw it...again.

Message received Aki, I'm sorry to hear that Banba always made me chuckle.
I won't let my fire be extinguished though, I got Blazing Soul to four corners of the earth! (Not really but close enough)
Also side note that video was fantastic, the sleeping part got me.

I'll have a post up tomorrow as well, I've been swamped lately but I found an brief opening...it's going to close right back tomorrow though.

I'm feeling better today. I think I've been going through some caffeine withdrawal from eating all my Halloween candy (which was all chocolate, thus caffeine) in about 3 days (totally worth it).

Not many people do. I happen to love 40k (it's universe and lore more than the tabletop game), so I apologize if I went a little overboard on the details.

I am very much a cat person, so I can attest to the effectiveness of that cure even if he is a little furry dick sometimes I still love him. I was dancing with him earlier this morning (and by dancing, I mean I danced and he sat there).

When I was told A Game of Thrones was a detail rich book, I was definitely not ready for it. I'm about 300 pages into the book (out of 800), and from looking at episode summaries of the TV show, I'm only to episode 4 or 5. Reading the books before watching the show is turning out to be a much greater challenge than I originally thought. ಠ_ಠ
