Alex looked at his watch. 7:30. He needed to be a school by 8. He knew he'd never make it in time, after all, he was quite the slow walker.

He walked out of his one-room apartment, and started down the street. Looking at the sky, his mind wondered to the past few months. They had been crazy.
Alex looked at his phone, and it read 7:35. He continued walking until he got to school, at around 7:55.
'Close call,' he thought to himself. 'Better get up earlier next time.'

Theodora sat in the classroom five minuted before class started. She stared up at the light on the ceiling. Every few seconds the light would flicker. Every time a different student would walk in, she would cast the light from the window into their eyes, giving her a bit of a laugh. At one point she looked out of the window to see Alex walking up to the building. She scoffed and aimed a tiny beam of light onto his cheek. Maybe next time you won't be late. She thought.

Noticing a small amount of heat on his cheek, Alex projected his voice through the wall, into Theodora's ear.
"Next time, I'll make sure the window breaks." he said coldly. Alex wasn't in the best mood, and her playfulness wasn't really helping.

Alex walked into the classroom, and sat down at a random desk. Looking around, he noticed all sorts of odd things laying around; books, pieces of paper and the like.
'Classrooms certainly changed since last year.' he thought to himself.

Allen woke up at 7:50 and didn't even notice until he looked his alarm clock and jumped up to change. He noticed that he won't make it time and thought that the only solution to not being late was to use his power. Allen put on a fast and up beat song on and focused on the ability of speed and went outside and quickly ran to school at 7:59. There were only a few more seconds until he was late and kept running until he got to school and sat in his desk just as the clock said 8:00. Allen turned the song off since he made it to school on time and didn't really need speed right now since class was about to begin.

Faeya sat in the back of the classroom, her eyes focused on her desk. She looked looked up when she felt an angry and cold feeling seep through her and she tried to push it away. It somewhat balanced when another male walked in with a relieved and kind of happy energy came in. Almost physically relaxing, Faeya then noticed the angrier boy was closer to her than the happy one. She sighed and focused all her strength on not taking in his anger as her own.

Allie walked into the threshold of the class just as the bell rang. She inwardly sighed, slumping into a seat towards the back of the room. She knew she had moved awfully slow this morning. Today was one of her sicker days, but she knew she couldn't miss school every time she felt bad. Which was almost every day. She felt a wet cough coming on and squeezed the side of her desk, her knuckles turning white from the strain of trying not to let the cough escape. She didn't want to freak anyone out. It passed and she eventually relaxed a little. She stared at a line on her palm, afraid to meet someone's eyes. She just couldn't help being so tense and anxious. After all, social interaction was a fairly new thing for her. Maybe I should have stayed locked up.

The rumbling hum of an engine faded into existence as a dark figure approached on the roads horizon. Drawing closer from the distance was a black limousine with tinted windows. It rolled down the road and slowed as it approached the front of the school. Unseen eyes looked out from the pitch black windows as the limo came to a halt at the schools steps. One of the rear doors opened, and a suited figure stepped into the warm mid morning light. An umbrella followed, spreading over head as the tall, slender form of Azazel stood up from the recesses of the limousine. He looked out with pondering eyes onto the rather mundane school building. Without a further thought, he leisurely made his way down the cement path and into the school. The door of the limo closed without influence and a low growl of it's engine signaled the limo's departure.

Alex looked up from his desk at the clock.
'8:00,' he thought to himself. 'Professor should be here any minute. Wonder which poor sap they'll have this year.'
Reaching into his back pocket, he took out his phone and looked at it. There was a new message, which he ignored. It was most likely some unimportant junk that would just make his already bad day, worse.
He pulled out some paper, and a pencil and started drawing.

Allen was just sitting in his desk waiting for the teacher to get here wanting to find out what kind of they got this year. Allen looked around in the class room inspecting everybody in the classroom to pass the time. Most of the students were reading, drawing, or just looking at their desk for some reason. Allen then turned on a song to listen to while everybody was doing something boring while he was listening to cool music and full of happiness having fun.

Will hummed as he and Mary entered the classroom late, Mary (His bird) taking off and landing in the corner of the room on a bookshelf. Will smiled at the the class and gave a wave as he sat down,drumming on the desk waiting for the teacher to arrive. He looked around the room Mary was now preening herself and the other seemed distracted with there own problems. He stopped humming and began to sing softly in his seat, he had been listening to Queen this morning on his way here so Under Pressure was stuck in his head, focusing his voice went up some and he went perfectly on key as he sang, if there was one thing he loved his power for it was his own entertainment .

Allie looked up as the guy walked in, intrigued that he had smiled and waved at everyone. She hadn't seen very many people who seemed so cheery in the morning. She went back to focusing on her hand. She was thinking about pulling a book out to pass the time, when suddenly she heard a sweet sound, so soft that she almost didn't hear it at first. She listened for a while, realizing it was coming from the guy who had just sat down. He had such a beautiful voice that she immediately felt at ease, visibly relaxing. She closed her eyes, a small smile on her face. For a moment, it felt like the poison had lifted from her, and she could finally breathe.

Will looked over at Allie then noticed the empty desk beside her, realizing class had yet to start and that she seemed as alone as he was he moved back taking the seat beside her. He gave her a soft smile "My names Will, I noticed you were enjoying my singing, I can sing something else if you like." He was trying to be friendly, even if talking to a girl made him nervous he still needed to try and make a couple friends. He knew they all possessed some sort of power not all of them were as easy to hide as his though.

Alex looked up seeing two people converse. Using his ability, he whispered to them, "Sing her a song. It'll get her low".

Using his first ability, he hid in the shadows of the classroom, silently watching everybody. For some reason Alex wasn't in a good mood today. He had yet to figure out why, since nothing had really happened yet. Looking around at the different people, Alex suddenly realized the professor hadn't arrived yet.

Whoever had just spoken seemed to know more than he did and with that he racked his brain for a song. Pausing only to consider if wanted to sing it, shrugging at the thought he began sing Drops of Jupiter. He knew the song was sort of a love song but he had always liked it and it was better than anything else he could think of. Living in Germany meant a lot more metal and rock so he could have pulled on that, but he had feeling the girl beside him would prefer something more soothing. He continued to sing, though in the back of his head he wondered where the hell the teacher was.

Allie furrowed her eyebrows for a moment. Who was that? And what did they mean by "low?" Before having a chance to respond, Will started singing again, and she started to relax once more. She didn't know how his voice was so magical, but it was still keeping the effects of the poison away, even if it was only for a little while. "You're an amazing singer," she smiled, speaking for the first time.

Will blushed slightly as he finished the song. "Thanks, it's sort of my talent I can make you forget pain or problems make you smile just by singing or playing a instrument." He reached back scratching his head "So what's your name?" The girl really seemed to like his singing which made him glad, still the voice troubled him, who could that have been? And more importantly why was the voice helping him?

Coming out from the shadows, Alex sat back at his desk. He had enough sitting and waiting.
"Where is the professor?" he finally asked out loud. He was becoming impatient, and was about to leave. After all, if the professor doesn't show up in the first 15 minutes of class, students have the right to leave.

Faeya huffed softly. "You're way too impatient" she said in a soft mumble. She didn't mean to say it out loud, so she blushed and stared at her desk, hoping to not draw attention to her. She hoped the others would stay away, so sayig something rude would only bring them closer. She slowly felt her anxiety intensify and her eyes turned into a soft orange. She hid her eyes from everyone so no one would notice.

Thankfully, Allie had enough sense not to look at the girl. She didn't want to embarrass her. However, she couldn't help it when her eyes widened when the boy literally walked out of the shadows. She focused her attention back on Will. "It's Allie. And yeah, I kind of figured. I've never felt better in my life, really." As better as she felt, she knew it was already getting bad again. She hid her shaking hands.

Looking over he noticed the embarrassed girl, turning back to the girl he now knew as Allie. "Nice to meet you Allie, if it makes feel that much better I wouldn't mind singing for you when you need it. I don't mind, just let rest some in-between songs and I should be fine. So where do you think the teacher is?" He looked around the kid who had come out of the shadows hadn't surprised him to much, he knew a lot of the people here had strange powers like his and he would have to do his best to ignore them and meet the people behind the powers.
