The only thing I truly hated about sao in general was that there were too many girls.

I hate to say this, but you want to know SAO's overall issue? Albeit a great universe, it's story is driven by one concept.

"We should make an Anime for all the Fourteen year olds boys who wish Power-tripping in a Video-game made them amazing, awesome, and the guy of every girl gamer's dream." - *Starts writing SAO Arcs.*

XD I love the universe, and the games they emerge into though, and this is why in ALL of my SAO rps I avoid the Canon Characters and do side-plots, off-story arcs.

The amount of girls was fine, but the "every one falling in love with him" was annoying. Especially with Lisbeth

It is fine. ^^

It is just a personal Quirk of mine. I hate bad stereotypes, even more so when they are stereotyped and used. Katana's in an Anime/Manga/JRPG is an overly used, overly stereotyped, over-rated design.

I honestly didn't think about that. I just like how katanas look and thought it would be pretty apropriate for a sneaky character (as good as any one-handed sword).
