After a long time of wandering around the woods, pouting, and kicking rocks around, Devon eventually heard the sound of the bell. Figuring that lunch was no longer an option, the teen reluctantly made their way out of the woods and eventually toward the campfire. Honestly, the young dragon wasn't sure if that was the correct place to meet, but it was probably on the way to the lunchroom, anyway. And it might be a good chance to get some fire-breathing practice in.

Thomas walked into the campgrounds, wondering where everybody was. He looked around, and then saw a tent, and could hear talking coming from it. He assumed that that was where everybody was, and walked over there, with his duffel bag over his shoulders. He went in, and there were multiple people, and he didn't know which one to talk to.

"Next we are going to do a skills activity. We would like you all to get comfortable with each other. We need you all to feel like a group before the competition portion of our day. So for the skill we would like everyone to show the group one thing that they excel at." The councilors announced together.

Seeing that the counselors were already gathering people by the campfire, Devon decided that this must be the correct place to be after all. Walking over to the area, the dark-haired teen was lucky enough to catch the instructions being given. Something we excel at? Hmm...I do have some good ones...I guess baseball? That's a definite! Or should I do something with martial arts? Oh, but they didn't want any sparring, so they might not accept any other demonstrations...I could do the forms, though. Those don't require a partner, and nobody should even have a chance to get hurt unless they're dumb enough to try tackling me in the middle of one. Still...I'm not sure if it's all martial arts banned or just sparring...maybe I should just stick with baseball...

The teen took a while, just letting thoughts ramble on for a bit while trying to come up with a something good to demonstrate. Surely at least one of the things they could do would be allowed or at least feasible to demonstrate here and now...right?

"I am really good at making fire." Ivy volunteered. She bounced up to the councilors with a big smile on her face. She held her hand out palm out. In the middle of her hand she created a fire ball. Then she changed it so that the ball looked like a car. "I can make all kinds of cool shapes too."She announced proudly. She continued changing the shape.

"Wow! That's so cool!" Devon moved closer to the campfire and looked on excitedly at Ivy's display. "I can't even breathe it properly yet...you should let me watch you practice sometime! Maybe I can get some inspiration!"

"Please don't encourage her. I have a hard enough time controlling her." Kyle pleaded. The last thing he needed was people encouraging Icy. His sister's fire was hard enough to contain. "The one this I am good at is painting. I don't have time to paint often. But it is something I excel at when I have the time to do it."

Devon felt confused by the boy's assertiong. "A-eh? but she's actually good at what she does. Besides, we're not going to be encouraged with the normie humans, so why waste our chances here?" Placing a fist to its hip, the young dragon thought for a second longer. "Hmmm...I can dance! I learned this great K-Pop number a little while ago! Should I demonstrate?"

David walked up to the group. He hadn't really met most of them yet, so he may as well start. He wanted to talk to Devon anyway. "What's up? You guys have room for one more in your conversation?" he said with a grin.

Katsumi lingered in the background.. He was not really paying attention to what was happening around him. He was worried and disturbed by what happened earlier. He could not stop it from replaying over and over in his head and apparently could stop it from coming out either. "How where you able to get out?..." He asked himself then heard a voice in his head reply "As if you can stop me." the voice laughed at him. It was worse than he thought..

Devon grinned at the muscled teen as he approached. "Be my guest! The counselors were just asking about things we're good at." Turning back to point to the other two, the dark-haired teen couldn't help being at least a little excited. "She's got a really good one. And he can paint stuff. I'm not patient enough for that, personally."

"I can make fire." Ivy told him proudly. She held her hand out palm a ball of fire appeared in her hand. She stared changing the shape of the fire. She made a star, a cat, a car, a turtle, and a house. She was very happy to be able to play with her fire. Kyle was always scolding her when she tried to practice. She knew that she had to be careful. Lots of things caught on fire easily. But she was working on putting out her own fires.

"See? Just like I said! I'm kinda jealous." Devon nodded toward Ivy as she showed off her talent again. "So, I dance and other stuff, you rule the flames, you're the artist..." The dark-haired teen pointed to each of them respectively while recapping before turning back to David. "What about you?"

David hummed as he thought of an answer for Devon. Were they discussing powers, or talents? Maybe both? He decided that it would probably better to leave his powers out for now.

"Uh, I guess I can do wood-working?" he said. "Wait, it's not really wood-working, more of . . . construction work? I dunno, but I can build stuff as long as it's big enough. I'm not too good with delicate work."

"Alright." The counselors announced. "The last event of the day is usually a competition. So we are going to have you all gather around the fire pit and tell us a story. Then you will vote to see who tells the best story. Who would like to go first?"
