[IC] Camp for Supernatural Teens

Devon put down the box, making sure to grab a marker and sign it so it could be identified. With the project finished, the only thing left to do seemed to be to wait for the others. While waiting, though, the blue-eyed teen figured that it couldn't hurt to look around at what some of the others had done.

Kyle looked at his painting. It wasn't done but it was close. He went to the counselors and asked if he would be able to finish it some other time. The assured him that they had no problems with that. They would make sure that it was accessible whenever he had the time to work on it. He was glad that he would have a chance to finish. He hated leaving projects half done. He went to check on Ivy.

While taking the time to walk around, Devon took notice of a particularly nice-looking painting in progress. Despite the fact that it was only half-done, it seemed very well done. "Wow...I wonder who made this one...I don't think I could do that."

James was just about done with his project, even though it looked very rough and crude it was probably the best work he could have mustered even if he had time to work on it. In the short amount of time left James was using small wooden dowels and pipe cleaners to add trees around the lake model to fill in the empty areas. putting down his supplies he looked over the model feeling very satisfied in what he had made in short time. If only I had more time, I could maybe... Do a lot worse and end up procrastinating on it completely.

looking around at the other kids and projects, James was glad that no one had taken notice of him while he was porting around the room. He had gotten a lot of attention back home when he did that sort of thing, but it was never good. He was either called a freak or people would attempt to fight him. in response, most times, he would simply open a worm hole to walk through and disappear, but it looked like he wouldn't have to worry about that here.

Ivy ran out of the lunchroom as soon as she could. Yes she had enjoyed working with metal but even using her fire to bend metal wasnt enough for her to want to stay put. She hated being still.she raced out of the build grateful for a few minutes of freedom. She bounce along the path to the campfire.

Devon continued around the room for a bit, looking at the other projects. Some of the others were really talented, and the range of mediums was impressive. Honestly, the box at her table kind of seemed like an elementary-school art project compared to some of this.
...Which probably wouldn't be that far off from the truth, actually.

Finally finishing the walk around the room, the dark-haired teen fixed their cap and tried to find the counselors to see what was next.

Katsumi had been looking around too when he bumped into devon and almost knocked her over until he cought her arm and pull her back up befor she even hit the floor. "I am so sorry" he said and the bowed apologetically. this is not the way he wanted to confront her after what had happend eearlier.

Thinking to have spotted the counselors, the dark-haired teen started off toward them only to be bounced almost to the floor by some other force that seemed to come out of nowhere.

"Ow!" The reaction was more out of surprise than any real pain, having neither fallen or been injured by the arm tugging. When it became clear who was speaking, however, any thoughts of forgiveness quickly changed into ones of irritation. "Oi, you again?" Snatching it's arm away from his grasp, the young dragon let out a slight growl. "Careful, will you? It wouldn't surprise me if you tried to add injury to my insult, but...but...argh! Just leave me alone!" Fuming at the greatly undesired contact, Devon tried to continue across the room to ask the counselors what was next.

Katsumi had hoped that she would have moved on but was helpless to do anything then a force overtook him and he saw his hand reach out for her arm as it grasped her tightly yet it was not his own will... His eyes started glowing Red and his hair flower Silvery-White as he laughed and whispered time seemed to stop "hehe.. Carful what you wish for... Afliction is an easy wish to Grant" It seemed like he was another person, His presence felt like putrid malice.. Then time seemed to start again and no one seemed to notice what had happened just then.. as if in the blink of an eye..
Then Katsumi returned to Normal.. No, Something was wrong.. His hand, the one that grabbed you was over eye on his forhead.. he was in obvios pain as he moaned.. The world began to spin, turn black. and then there was silence.. Katsumi passed out..

Devon's eyes flashed at the feeling of being grabbed again. "Hey! Let go you--!" The words died in the dragon's throat at the sudden change, though, and a deep sense of dread began to take over. As time seemed to start going back to normal, the teen was only just aware of the terrified scream that ripped from her mouth and stumbled backwards in a desperate struggle to get away. Staring up at the guy in horror, though it seemed that the change he went through hadn't lasted for long, Devon only stayed for a moment longer before scrambling to stand and running out the door.

The young dragon didn't stop, continuing to flee into the woods. It didn't matter that he had fallen unconscious, all senses were just screaming for it to get as far away as possible.

"Lunch!" The counselor a called. They had set up a buffet for the kids. There was a large variety of food available to choose from.

The young dragon didn't stop until it found itself deep in the woods, far from the view of the arts building. After looking back and around for a moment to make sure they were completely alone, Devon finally started to feel a bit tired from the run and dropped to the ground in tears. How could this day be going so badly? It seemed to have started out pretty well. It seemed like maybe she had come close to making a friend back at the campfire, and there were things to look forward to and everything. And then that plant-head had to not only ruin those possibilities, but turn into some kind of...demon whatever and threaten her too?

If only I were a stronger dragon, I could have fought him off or something, she thought bitterly. He made me look like a total wimp back there!

What would her family have said? They probably would have been so disappointed. Maybe they wouldn't have allowed her to come to camp anymore.

David stretched, looking over his work with . . . er, respectful silence? That was what you usually did when the you stood in the presence of the dead, after all, and his little wooden . . . thing, looked pretty dead to him.

Shaking his head, David proceeded to the cafeteria for lunch. He wondered where the others were, particularly that rather interesting guy, the dragon. He wanted to continue his chat about the 'sparring' thing.

Pushing a stray hair back behind her ear Rylie made her way to the buffet, a feeling of unease ran though her causeing her hazle eyes to look up. A young girl running from the room and a boy just passing out, what in heavens name was going on in this camp! Rylie made her way over to where Katsumi lay. This being Rylies' first time at a summer camp, did not make her nervousness any better.

Julia quickly attempted to compose herself the best she could. Nothing, absolutely nothing seemed to be able to reduce her to an emotional child like thinking about her dead mother seemed to. Not even her...interesting family situation did that any more, that was what it was. She4 didn't know why it affected her, but it did. Done, she went to lunch.

Vanessa stretched and decided to head to lunch. She could have skipped it, like she did at school, but there were far less kids in this camp than at her school, and the (slightly creepy) head counselors would probably notice and punish her for some stupid reason. Whatever. She stuck her noise canceling headphones into her ear and started blasting one of her favorite bands. People liked to get on to her about how loud music for long periods of time was damaging to a person's ears, and it certainly was for most people, but because it was technology, she was able to make sure it wouldn't hurt her. Of course, she didn't tell them that - revealing she was some sort of freak with powers would not end well for her - so she just smiled and nodded, all the while tuning out.
She was so deep into her thoughts and her music that she didn't even notice herself tripping until she had tripped and was falling to the ground.

Ivy ounces into the lunch room once again. She looked around but didn't see er brother. She briefly wondered where Kyle was but figured that he would turn up. Her brother was never late for anything.

Katsumi woke shortally after passing out to see the most hazel stary eyes.. he blinked as he tried to remember what had happened and why he was on the floor.. " I don't..." he said and the stopped as he remembered his body moving agianst his will and threatening that poor girl.. he began to hold his head as if it would help the throbbing but it did little. He decided not to worry those hazel eyes looking down at him any longer and put on that smile he always seemed to wear. Katsumi looked at her and asked of all the questions he could ask " Are you alright?" As if he was no longer concerned for himzelf in the least.

Kyle took his time walking back to the lunch room. Camp wasn't going how he thought it would. People usually flocked to Ivy drawn to her bubbly personality. While he was quieter he could usually make one friend given time. Of course only half the day had passed. It had been a strange day too. Maybe when things got more settled.

Even though they were kind of hungry, Devon didn't feel like heading back yet, instead choosing to sulk some more in the woods. They could head back when they were ready. Standing up again from the previous sitting position, the blue-eyes teen wiped their face and started walking around. Might as well just enjoy the surrounding nature. At least that couldn't be messed up yet.

"When you have finished eating please head to the campfire." The counselors aid in unison. Then the rang the bell for those who were not in the lunchroom.
