Jak was not one for much conversation, but this boy seemed nice enough. "I smell pancakes. With...cinnamon." Jak was a vegetarian, mostly due to being able to talk to animals.

"All of it is fresh" Katsumi replied. There where many things everyone could enjoy... "The cinnamon are the cinnamon rolls, sorry." Katsumi apologized "but I can make you some like that if you wish?" he offered. "Oh and how would you like your coffee? Trust me. I used to work at a café where my coffee was supposedly the best.. any kind you can think of, I'll know how to make."

Devon grinned at the larger boy and waved back walking over after a moment. "Hey, man! You look like you slept well, ready for whatever we're doing after breakfast? I hope we get to some games today." Giving another stretch, the teen looked around the room. "By the way, have you seen Kyle? Ivy and I were supposed to kidnap him or something."

@Kartoffel "Just Normal Flavors.." Katsumi gave him a confused look for a second.. "Have you never visited a café before? Flavors like Carmel, White chocolite, Pumpkin.. that sort of thing.." by that time, Katsumi was walking a little towards the others to ask what they would like...

"Okay. I can take on the characteristics of animals and talk to animals. I don't know who I am supposed to be sharing a cabin with."

Jak was starting to feel more comfortable here, mostly due to the kindness of this person.

She felt unsure where she fit in here but here she was and she was going to make the most of it. Making friends was not something that came easy to her.

Seeing a new face Ivy bounced over to the boy. She bounced circles around the boy. "HELLO! My name is Ivy." She beamed as introduced herself. She loved meeting new people. "That's my brother." She pointed to Kyle who blushed and shook his head. She giggled knowing that she had embarassed him.

@Kartoffel "I am.. Shiro Yuuki" She replied as she sat down across from him. She had already been taken car of eating cinnamon rolls. Still it was way to warm in the room for her.. but she tried to hide it. She took her cup of coffee and took a large drink out of it (She had never had it before or any hot drink for that matter) Then screamed "Ow! Hot, hot! Ow! It Burns, it..." She was panicked and froze the cup and the coffee inside solid. Her hand (the one she used to pick the mug up) was unusually red..

"What just happened?", Jak asked. "Are you okay?" Then he saw that the cup was frozen solid and that her hand was bright red.
"Did you do that?", Jak asked.

This girl seemed very energetic. If Jak had that much energy he wouldn't know what to do with himself.

Devon grimaced a bit at the sound of the familiar voice and grumbled quietly before looking over one shoulder at the green-haired male. "No. Go away and stop harassing me." Before turning back to David, the teen noticed that Ivy was already distracted by someone else and made a mental note to catch up with her later.

Katsumi stated in reply to Devon with a kind smile. "I love to cook.. but, I bet you can't guess why.. Good food has a rare quality to please everyone." He paused then continued "That is the type of person I aspire to be.. which means I refuse to have you as my enemy. We.. I started off on the wrong foot. Let me try again?" His tone was sincere and serious. He hoped he would be given the chance to explain and to make what happened up to her..

The shorter teen visibly tensed. For a moment, the first sentence out of his mouth sounded like a threat, like the words from the other day. The words that followed were only more confusing, though. Please everyone? What's that supposed to mean? Is this an attempt to look good?

After a few seconds of thought and a released puff of air, Devon finally replied. "I don't know what your fixation is, but yeah. Loudly humiliating and-or expressing distrust for someone you don't know in front of a large group and obviously threatening them after is a pretty good recipe for distasteful beginnings. Now you know, 'sweet for one, poison for another.' A good chef knows that we can't all eat the same thing."

Ivy bounced around the new boy. "You didnt tell me your name. Kyle says that's rude. He's very good about following the rules. Do you know what we're going to do first? The first activity is sports. I am not good at sports. Are you good at sports? My brother says I dont focus. But I think that sports have too many rules. What is your favorite sport?"

David grinned and was about to respond when another boy walked up to them. He frowned deeply as he heard him speak. He didn't like the way he worded his sentence; it was as if he was saying that if you weren't friends you were enemies.

His frown grew deeper still the more he talked. He sounded desperate but at the same time threatening. He wondered about his history with Devon.

"Er, listen, not to offend or anything, but you should probably drop it for now," said David. "I don't think Devon feels like speaking with you just yet . . . and in all honesty you really ought to choose your words carefully. You didn't sound too friendly there."

This girl talked an unbelievable amount. Jak didn't think he would talk that much in a whole day. He could see how the girl had trouble focusing.
