Well, no matter how the vote turns out, I fully intend on having Stukov run out of ammo right soon. He was packing for an undercover job, not an open firefight on enemies that take half a cylinder of buckshot/slug to bring down. Gotta love that bulky, bulky shotty ammo! And his sidearm uses the same ammo. Good on paper, practice, eehhhh.

Oh yeah, I appreciate that. If she's accepted, then her Plasma Pistol is going to Gets Hot! at some point. And most likely explode. Which is why I brought 2 pistols, I'm gonna roll a Die every time she fires it and on a 1, it'll Get Hot, then the 4+ armour save from her Carapace Armour, if failed, then she'll get hurt in the explosion.

Also, gonna have to make those Peril's rolls whenever she's trying to use her Biomancy Buffs.

It seems like your character is just all over the place. I see Psyker, Anti-Tank, CQC, and Anti-Infantry. Pick one or two.
And it's extremely unlikely for the Eldar to just gift you a Biting Blade, and a Fusion Pistol. Especially only after one favor, even if it was saving the life of said Eldar. Even if you somehow got said weapons, your character being raised by the Mechanicus + Using Xeno-Tech doesn't go well together. The vast majority of the Mechanicus would probably call it techno-heresy of some sort.
To me, your character just seems too powerful. If a tank shows up, no problem, you have a Fusion Pistol to blast it with. Chaos Marine? Plasma bolt to the chest would do. Any sort of infantry? Your Biting Blade would make short work of them, and if they're too far away, you'd just Biomancy them to death. Hell, you could probably biomancy a tank crew to death.
I'm not much for game-mechanics and such, seeing how this is a freeform RP. If this were a legitimate Dark Heresy campaign, where everyone is using rules and stuff, I'd be more accepting of some of this stuff, but we're not.

As a note: I let some pretty powerful characters in before, and I think we have enough of those. Try and make a more 'normal' character, I guess.

Actually, she's supposed to be fully Anti-Tank. The Biting Blade is large and unweildly, hitting anything faster than slow moving, Heavy infantry is going to be difficult, the Biomancy is for the purpose of granting her the extra strength necessary to cut through tank armour. Taking out simple Heretics will be difficult, like trying to swat a fly with a hammer. Just take the tabletop game for example. You charge a Sisters Repentia squad into a Dreadnought, they will make short work of it. You charge them into a squad of Guardsmen, the Guardsmen will actually, probably, win. They hit on 4's and wound on 4's, no saves. Plus, because the Repentia have Unweildly, about half of them will be gone before they even get to attack.

And it is not unheard of for the Eldar to gift humans their weaponry, generally done after saving their life. Eldar take Life Debts VERY seriously, from what i have read.

As for her philosophy, she was completely into the "Human Only" stuff, until she was taken by her Inquisitor. He taught her a philosophy that she has kept until this day. "The reason Aliens have Technology, is because the Great Machine God wants us to have it. But he is not into giving us everything we want straight away, we would grow weak and supple. He wants us to grow strong enough to be able to take it from them. One day, we will be able to shape the wraithbone, but not until we grow strong enough to take the technology from the Eldar. But, that is not our destiny. Ours is to rid the universe of the vile Warp Spawn."

As such, she has no qualms with using Xeno technology, if it is used to take care of Daemons. Now that you mention it, yes, the Plasma Pistol is a little too much. But, for the moment, she is dedicated to taking down the big, heavy targets. She will lead the fast-moving ones to the others.

@mattmanganon Tabletop is a bit jinky to quote here the scale is all allot smaller and deadlier generally as i imagine this is a Dark Heresy parallel. Also the tabletop is as balanced as a fight between a tiger and a six year old. Though i think the point that @Skyrte is making is that generally when making a character you can break the general feeling of the setting's populace once and any more tends to be very standout.

Being a psyker in the Admech and having xeno tech is pretty wild. Psykers in the admech tend to be a whole kitten caboodle on their own.

Just my ten pence.

I know what you mean, but I am still speaking in realistic terms. In a fight, the question is what kind of armour your opponent is wearing. If neither is wearing armour, then the guy using a short-sword will have a big advantage over someone weilding a large two-hander, in close quarters combat. The one with the Two-Hander will have the advantage of reach and power, but neither of those things matter, as they are so close that reach is irrelevant, and since it takes only a pound of preassure for the average blade to cut skin, that power is also irrelevant. Whereas the Short-Sword fighter has the advantage of a lot more control of their blade, plus, they have to use a lot less energy per swing. Meaning they can swing their blade faster and more accurately, which is relevant.

However, it takes a lot more preasure to cut tempered steel. The Short-Sword guy will have a disadvantage, as his sword won't be able to penetrate the armour as well as the Two Hander. And since they are armoured, they will be moving slower, so the decrease in accuracy is lessened.

It's logic. My planning was that, if she needed to fight a Cultist or something like that, she would simply put her blade down and fight hand-to-hand, or try to shoot him before he can get close enough.

As for the "Admech using Xenos tech" actually, from what i've read, most Acolytes will mold their own beliefs to fit more with their Inquisitor. If the Inquisitor believes something, then they usually do as well, even if it's super heretical. That's why some Inquisitor Retinues contain Daemonhost's, even though that's the most heretical thing ever to be imagined. The Acolytes won't ever go against the Inquisitor unless he openly starts worshipping Chaos.

Or the Eldar. There is an Eldar Apocalypse formation which is a load of psyker units that are immune to Perils. Hell, I was thinking of having Maria Perils at some point.

I mean, I understand that rules have to be bent in terms of post by post roleplay, and that we mostly use the rule of cool when we can when we write our posts. But there are also limits to the game. In terms of plasma weapons, you mentioned the overheat rule, which is an oversimplification of Imperial plasma weapons just being kinda bad and the containment field in the weapon failing or the venting of so much excess heat some things die.

In terms of a warp peril test, you would be able to get away with using the chart from the RPG where lighter consequences can happen, like say, you just hear some spectral screaming, or the temperature drops. Your character doesn't have to suffer an aneurism from using psychic abilities.

Additionally, Eldar are just super cheese all around, but even they aren't as good at psychic things as big Ol' Emps.

and Regal is better than Lloyd.

Right now she is just riding the adrenaline high, so it'll hit her like a tonne of bricks when it happens ^^

Unfortunately I'm going to have to deny you again.

Any sword made to be unwieldy is not a proper weapon and thus should not be used on the battlefield. Biting Blades included. Especially Eldar weapons. Any two-handed swordsman would know how to make that two handed sword into a whirlwind of death, and any swordsman would be wise to practice in some sort of wrestling. Any Knight who does not practice wrestling wrestling is a failure of a swordsman. Assuming your character is not a failure of a swordsman, taking out the common Heretic would be like swatting a fly, since your Biting Blade would be like a whirlwind of chainsaw death. Actually, taking out five common Heretics would be like trimming your front lawn with a lawn mower, if they are all armed with small knives and swords and are as suicidal as Cultists usually are. I have also never heard of any sort of Eldar life debts, nor have I heard about them gifting weapons to any humans. To make sure, I asked a couple of people. They all have never heard of an Eldar life debt, and neither have they heard about the gifting weapons deal.

I'm okay with with the Biomancy and the Plasma Pistol, or a Melta Pistol equivalent. I am also alright with the Admech background and the acceptance of using Xenotech, given your reason.
What I am not okay with is the Eldar Biting Blade and Fusion Pistol. Particularly with the Biting Blade. Psykers typically carry some sort of staff to amplify their abilities, I would accept a spear or pole arm, as it's basically a staff with a fancy tip. But with the reason I stated earlier, having never heard of any life debt or weapon gifting, I'm having a hard time accepting your load out. Then there's the balance issue. In a one on one fight, with only the swords, a skilled user of the Biting Blade alone would make my own character be extremely careful. A skilled user of the Biting Blade with Biomancy abilities would make him just give up and run, that's how powerful your combination of Biomancy and Biting Blade is.
