@Bigg Slamm "pathological coward he freaks out about something as simple as his stomach growling. That doesn't mean though he runs away. He faces his challenges head on and without predjudice" I don't mean to be too blunt about this but there are a few contradictions here. You've mixed up being a 'coward' and being afraid. See, an actual coward doesn't simply overcome their fear (not to mention a pathological coward). They lack courage, meaning they don't have that willpower to face their fears whereas someone who is simply afraid of something can get over it. You become a coward when you CAN'T face your challenges head on. I usually don't like being the guy to point these things out, but it's important that somebody does.

well you missed the beginning of that quote. "He is a bit of a pathological coward." meaning he isn't one completely. well i can see where i messed up. i should have said, "That doesnt mean he runs away all the time." If that doesn't help you could just ignore it. for some reason when i try to edit thread posts my previous work gets deleted when the edit box pops up over the post box. Meaning i have to rewrite the whole thing. Ijd rather not rewrite the whole thing for one sentence.

I'll make this simple, if we point something out to you it's not up for debate or compromise.

You can't be a bit of something and also be pathological about it. Pathological is obsessive. There's no such thing as 'a bit obsessive'.

If you are a pathological coward, you do not face challenges head on or 'without prejudice'. Those statements contradict each other. Not to mention that facing a challenge 'without prejudice' doesn't make any sense from a literary standpoint.

um i did mention i write using my xbox didn't i? that means no copy paste. i'd rather not rewrite the whold thing again and it just so happens some of my slow rps have picked up so i'm dropping. my bad. good luck and happy writing.

God, I'm such a sucker for Pokemon RPs. I'm interested in this, although the battles happening in Showdown is something I've never done before (I've mostly just co-oped with whoever I was battling against and reasoned out solutions, but it should be interesting to use that system). Also, the concept of having it made into a game also intrigues me. I love projects like that.

Basically, the only thing that concerns me is how harsh the critiques of the other roleplayer seemed. I'm not trying to be a dick or anything when I say this, but I shied away from another roleplay when the GM and Co-GMs tore people's posts/etc. apart for minor things. I understand it's within your power to do so, however.

If you guys still want me after saying that, I can write up a character profile to see if it meshes with what you guys are looking for. :]

@Aphelion I really don't like to pointlessly tear at people's posts, I really just wanted that little bit changed. I'll admit it could have been done better (and honestly I should have remembered that he was posting with an Xbox). I'd be happy to see another face in here!

@Double Like our starting level everything will be approximate. In the anime, levels are kind of wishy washy anyway, so we're just using it as a way to gauge how powerful we'd say our pokemon are by game standards. I thought it'd be good to start at the recommended level for the first gym (in the game). Obviously it isn't needed to start at that level since the gyms will more or less be scaled to the challengers. (something that'll be harder to do in the game but far from impossible)

@Eklispe Looks good so far. Where'd you get that picture if you don't mind me asking (or did you draw it yourself)?

@needlingAsklepios Hey yeah we are still taking people so absolutely write up a Character Sheet. It's kinda the unspoken rule right now the we all only have one Pokemon at the moment, but you could happy catch your other two down the line.

So we have two people choosing ralts? Interesting seeing as one chose a male and the other a female. (are we going to see a Gallade AND a Gardevoir? Because that's certainly unexpected.)

I didn't see the other person with the ralts. Still don't. However, Gardevoir has been my favorite pokemon since its arrival in gen 3. Its my computer background and my phone background. Anyways, when is the rp expected to start?
