@Dawnscroll: Transience is set to drop a big chunk of responses, so until he pulls that together and posts, I can't really do anything about it. After that, my GM duties will kick in, and hopefully we'll split responsibility for IC replies and such. Just hang in tight, he's been much busier than usual this past week.

No need to start unloading the doomsday protocols so soon. I'm sure many of us can get by on pure inertia for a while yet.

Anyway while running today (still questioning why I thought that was a good idea) I decided on my vote for the RP theme. It's kind of hokey, but it's fun and 100% on point as far as theme and subject matter goes.

Picturing a smattering of characters as members of a boyband. Good stuff.

Ansur, of course, is the hunky frontman. Ansur is the charming, suave type that actually has some skill with his instrument. Volkimir is the cool, mysterious one for those that like that kind of thing. Ellarian is the least pretty one, most ignored by the media, and consigned to being the drummer, but actually has the most musical talent. At a loss for who would be the cute, sensitive one. Need a conniving, cutthroat manager as well.

I figured I SHOULD PROLLY ADD some story to Nridriel other than just the Night Goddess formerly known as the "Mother of Moons" who eventually become the Goddess of Night and Madness, I couldn't find a bunch of things to go on other than a few things ^^;;

EDIT: Imma do some reading before I just jump in here :D got a lot to catch up on before I start up :) going to be wandering the deserts for a while looking for a city that no longer exists lol.. maybe some ruins but tons of nope.

No, no. I'm very much here. it is just taking longer than usual to get responses up. What I may end up doing is posting the main body of them soon, and potentially post yours a little later as you requested a longer response.



(And yes, it is a hell of a lot of work to juggle a generally busy week with writing quality responses, working on three collabs, approving characters, discussing lore with like 4 people simultaneously, working on requested longer responses for Clarent, responding to a fairly high volume of PMs (seriously, I logged on this morning and I had like 25 PMs.), talking to a few prospectives about joining, and trawling through the OOC. I wasn't around yesterday because of a work-related emergency, but hell, i'm still here. I won't ever abandon the RP, guys. I can promise you that. Sometimes it is just going to take a little time as the workload goes up and up. For this reason I got raven on my side to help with this sort of thing, but I haven't even discussed with them about co-writing responses and such yet; I will do, but it hasn't happened so far. I pour pretty much all of my free time into this RP, so just bear with, I am doing my best.

Starless has become pretty much one of the most active advanced level RP's I have seen on this site, and almost certainly the most active and expansive advanced-level RP going currently. Also, consider that we have like 20 players.

SO yes, I am here, I am alive. Give me time. If only I could GM full time, eh? ;) )

hmmm problem is I planned to meet Ki'ira up with someone, but she ended up still nto meeting anyone... anyone up for a collision of characters?(like really, they might just bump into each other while running without noticing lol.)

@rivaan I'm up for anything... I'm just role-playing Elowen on what she'd do realistically given her information and clever mind. :p

Edit: Also, just in case anyone is actually interested - The Light of Our Oath. And yes, I did somewhat steal the dying world idea from this role-play. It just means I really like that. ^.^

@lydyn okey then we can meet. Ki'ira is escaping a burning forest and she plans to head to the coastline, but I imagine the forest is well away from the coast so they maybe can meet somewhere in the middle? open fields, crops and what not... :3

@rivaan - Not sure if Elowen will be leaving in the next few posts or not... she's on a mission and isn't aware of anyone else. So basically, Ki'ira would have to stumble onto it. :p

@lydynHmmm... Ki'ira is heading towards the coastline... so I doubt the temple is between her and the coast. though we can always have our lovely @Transience set some hurdle in Ki'ira's path to head her towards the temple right? :3? What do you think, GMbro, can it be done? xD

Hello friends!

Just a small note that Dead Cruiser has levelled up to the second co-Gm for Starless, so congrats to him. Everybody give hima round of applause and such. The decision was made because the I need manpower because of the aforementioned workload, and DC has shown both enthusiasm and a lot of activity in actively worldbuilding in Ansus. Also, I dropped a bunch of OOC story info on him over the course of a bunch of collaboration. It just made sense to me to assign him as our third GM.

So everybody give him a warm welcome. Myself, @ravenDivinity, and @Dead Cruiser are on the case.
