the sort of grenade launcher that explodes in your hands is the sort of grenade launcher that wasn't maintained properly...

Therefore, there is nothing one can do to prevent anything happening.

Therefore, if the grenade launcher does go pop in my hands, it's probably because I wasn't reverential enough. Now if you'll excuse me, I've got to do some self-flagellation to appease Him.

Machine spirits require reverence too. Have you considered applying proper sacred oils? I know for a fact Cearbannog becomes a downright moody bitch when her engine isn't properly greased up before a sortie.

Is there a limit on characters? If I'm allowed, I'd also like to double with a seasoned veteran who's been through Emperor-only-knows how many campaigns and managed to lose more or less every limb and is more a collection of bionic bits than a person.

After all, what's a war if there's no insanely devout mech-man to creep everyone out?

There is a limit, and it is one; although if you want your first guy to die, then replace him, that's fine. That goes for everyone.

However, I'll stretch it to two characters in your case...

Serve the Guard well, the Emperor is not as forgiving as I am.

@Tenlock Oh you are free to play a sanctioned psyker in a regiment, but as far as being anything to do with the Inquisition...that is a no-no. This is, as the title suggests, a Guard RP. We have no time for the Inquisition here.

May I express a great deal of interest, I have a hard time staying away from such a beautiful and hilarious universe as 40k's. Granted it would be my first RP on this particular forum, and I don't know as much about 40k as I should, but I will serve willingly, Emperor willing.
