"You wouldn't." Tamlin's voice was steady, sure, and confident, but he was anything but. The woman smirked, her knife pressing harder against Tamlin's stomach. "You'll be hunted down and killed if you do this." His voice was low, as he grasped the woman's wrist, trying to keep her from breaking through the fabric of his shirt, and through his skin.

A small laugh escaped the woman. "I'm willing to take that risk, if it means that you're dead." With that, she pushed the knife into his body, ripping open his flesh. Tamlin cried out in pain, falling to the ground as the woman fled, leaving him for dead.

Trying to keep from passing out, Tamlin forced his energy towards the wound, healing as much of it as he could, which was barely enough to fix where she'd cut into his liver. There was blood flowing freely from the wound as he stood, staggering out of the alley and towards the street. He didn't make it that far though, collapsing at he entrance of the alley.

Seeing a man walking under a nearby street light, Tamlin cried out, "help, please!" His voice was weak, and he was afraid the man wouldn't be able to hear him. He needed help, someone to make sure he stayed alive long enough to let his Fae body heal him naturally. An injury such as his would only take a few days, at most a week, to heal, so long as he stayed alive for that to happen.

Tamlin watched the man, hoping that the hood thrown over his head would be enough to keep the man from noticing his pointed ears. He just prayed the man wouldn't take him to a human hospital, knowing that there would be too many questions if that was done. He couldn't hide his Fae blood, his Fae healing, from doctors. He had a hope of being able to do so with one man, but in a hospital, he was doomed.

Ryan departed from the small bar, drunk and ready to get home and into his bed. He had enough sense to not drive himself home despite that his car was parked right outside. After working for the local emergency transport services for three months, he'd seen more tragic accidents than he cared to count due to reckless driving, there had even been a few deaths, though none on his watch he'd been proud to admit.

Ryan staggered along, and grabbed a lamp post just at the end of a dark alley. Hearing something his senses sharpened, though he wasn't sure what he'd heard. He squinted his eyes as he gazed down the alley, and saw a dark figure, which was blurry from the amount of alcohol consumed, that was hunched over onto itself. Ryan stood for a moment with his brow wrinkled before shaking his head and jogging over to the figure. He knelled down next to the figure and placed a hand on it, holding his breath.

Good, he thought. You're alive. "Are you okay?" He asked in a soft, slightly slurred voice.

Tamlin breathed out a sigh of thanks that the other man had heard him, trying to keep conscious. When the man touched him, he jerked away, his breathing becoming shallower. He had multiple smaller wounds from the woman, one of which the man had just laid his hand on. "Please, can you-" he broke off as his vision began swimming. Slowly he continued, his breathing shallower than before. "Take me somewhere. I need to lay down before I pass out."

He looked up at the man, just noticing the smell of alcohol that was on the man. He hoped the man wasn't too drunk to remember where he lived, or how to get there. Tamlin just needed a place to lay down, and where he could relax. He needed a place to hide and to heal, somewhere that the other Fae didn't know about.

"Can you help me?" He tried to use the wall to help push himself up, but found the stress on his body was too much. He cried out in pain, falling against the wall, slowly sliding down it, causing pain in his back. "Damned woman." His voice was a low growl. "I'll fucking kill her." He hoped the other man couldn't hear him clearly, knowing most humans wouldn't be accepting of murder.

"Where are you hurt?" Ryan asked, helping the maan to stand. He wrapped his muscular arm around the other man, and began to walk back to his car very slowly. "We might want to get you to a hospital." He said softly.

Ryan felt his head clar as he felt the rush of doing his duty as an EMT. It was a job that you did on and off the clock no matter who was hurt, where you were, or what was wrong. Ryan moved slowly and grabbed his keys from his back pocket.

They reached the ssmall car a moment later and Ryan helped the man sit on the passenger side. "I should assess you injuries." He said quickly and started to lift the other man's shirt.

Tamlin groaned, allowing the other male to pull him up. His head was swimming, along with his vision as he tried to keep from passing out. "My stomach." His answer was more of a grunt than him really using his voice, but he didn't care about that. All that mattered was- "No hospital. Please."

He slumped down into the passenger seat, a moan of pain escaping from his lips. His eyes closed as he tried to keep from crying out at the pain, or passing out. As he felt the other male lifting his shirt, he cried out as the fabric shirt pulled at his skin. His breathing was ragged, labored, as he opened his eyes to look at the other male.

"I swear, it's not as bad as it looks." It was a lie, of course, but Tamlin couldn't risk being taken to the hospital. He needed to make sure he ended up somewhere without doctors, without constant supervision, since he couldn't get back to his house. Tamlin's hand shook as he reached out, touching the other male's shoulder. "Thank you. Please- not the hospital." With that, his hand dropped, and his eyes fell closed. He was out cold.
