@Jig Absolute Nay on the likes of Nukes(the Killsat will take care of it), but the sat won't be destructive to an epic scale, it'll merely kill the nuke in midair or on site. Ya on Low-yield Chemical and Biological weaponry.

@Monkeypants Makes sense

The only nations I think The Great Han would have had intereaction with would be @Shorticus' Malagasy Empire, and @Isotope's Cascadia, though I imagine the interactions with Cascadia would be limited to minor trade and be rather infrequent. Though, we may be aware of the existence of the Badlands and the NAU through Cascadia.

I think we're far beyond the point of decent levels of overland trade and a significant movement of cargo by sea, so theres probably a level of interaction between most nations even if its just agreement that y'all are cool to buy and sell here.

Am I to be envision that isolated portion of the Nile Delta that's been divvied up amongst @Taeryn, @Willy Vereb, and I as an obvious analogy of East/West Germany with Franco-Iberia and the Hungarians having had established separate occupation zones following the Great War that eventually culminated into a single republic, with the USHR controlling some sort of proto-satellite state after each of us had occupied and eventually relinquished control of the island amongst one another, or am I taking this analogy too literally?

I'm looking to have lost a chunk of territory to either of you during the Great War, so that Jodesia can have a great sense of loss and glory days to harken back to. I'm basically going to suggest that I got myself involved in something I wasn't prepared to deal with, and the result was an embarrassing treaty in which I was forced to hand over either a Western territory to the Hungarian League or a Southern Territory to Franco-Iberia. Either of you want in? (Obviously the current map will reflect territories as they are; we're just talking history here)
And the Great War was a couple of decades ago, ie: 1500-1510ish by the restoration calendar, right?

Probably only want one of you to have pinched my land, just so I don't have to bear a grudge against both of you :P

I'd be more than happy to have formerly held it as a colony and then had it removed from me after a botched wade-in on the Great War if that works for the other guys (would give me my political embarrassment, definitely), but I don't have to have. That would neatly prevent my actual turf being divided up and having to think about awkward land-borders with former Jodesian territory.

Yeah, seemingly between the Hungarian League, Franco-Iberia, and, hopefully, me. I can't really find any details for it either, apart from references. I think that's what we're working out now.

@Monkeypants Well, those two wars of great note.

Those the conflict that jump started the Age of Restoration as the First Founder Kingdoms came to be. Then we jump the present-ish, and those was the Great War which was fought a decade or two ago in the Restoration Calendar.

Oh sweet holy jesus I'm both excited and not remotely ready. Then again, I wanna observe how NRPs work a little bit before making any moves of my own, so maybe that's just as well. :D
