@BrodZ11711so pride would let him have basic glamour skills and control over human emotion not really that much there tbh dont get me wrong though hes powerful when it comes to the other 6 sins but not much else without the other six he is kind of useless

@kagethekiller Alright i get the magic now, so your main abilities come from your demon on top of your magic that isn't used for fighting. I'll change it up later. But with me buffing him I can think of heaps of ways Pride will be strong. Thanks for clearing that up.

OK I have a vague idea brewing. I'll get something for you soonish.

That being said, how would necromancy work on this world? Is it commanding a demon to posses a corpse or more like animation and simple orders?

(Sorry if this has been answered already I didn't read all the ooc stuff)

Scratch that- I'll go for something else, can't do too many necros.

I think I'll aim for mental manipulation (think... lovecraftian illusion magic) drive my enemies insane out of terror and despair.

And, yes. I am planning on my character to be somewhat insane due to this tactic.

I have a few questions. First and foremost you say we have to use real demons yet then link a list of demons from fiction? whats the about?

Secondly is there a plot? or are you going for a jump in and do what you want sandbox?

This is more constructive criticism rather than a question, but the OP is quite daunting. It's a large wall of text with no indication of what your reading followed by a quick section on magic and the rules etc. It might be an idea to tidy it up and put some headers around etc. A bit more organization can draw people in a lot more and hopefully garner more interest.

@BlackbeardIll try to fix the fictional part thanks for noticing that meant to use the link to the real one but used the first one on accident, also Im not really that good at using the site language but i can try to fix some stuff in the text if that's the problem.

It's not so much of a problem I just think you'd have more success, a little bit of constructive crit to try and help this RP be a bit more accessible. From experience an incredibly well organized and well presented RP regardless of content, will garner more interest than a fantastic gem of an idea that looks poor (Not saying this looks poor BTW but could be touched up)

So any answer on the plot front?

there will be a plot along the normal lines for now of there being a bad mage to take down but Idea's are welcome it started very sandboxy its slowly evolving but lmk if that looks more appealing? i put in some more effort to listen to what you meant

Yeah, it might just be a thing of personal preference but to me that OP is a lot more accessible. I know what I'm reading about from the headers and separating the sections makes it much easier to digest. I hope that helps garner some more interest!

OK, that was a good question.

Do these demons have to align with formal mythology?

Because my idea doesn't fit quite as well with formal, abrahamic, demons.

Or at least I don't think so.

@AwesomeZero5 It looks good the only thing would really be he needs to lose more so Marbas can be blood bonded with him because tbh that transformation magic is a little to powerful, but if he had Marbas to draw on for his transformation spells and such it would be different. Might I recommend the memories of your parents as a small child, precious to the char but not plot changing.
