@Holy Soldier
Frankly Kitty is right there man, if you read wizard's comments from earlier 'He can do everything a kyptonian can do.. and even then, he can do more' a Kyptonian is insanely powerful to start with, especially compared to all the other characters, then your character can do even more than that (even if he doesn't have it yet he would eventually), just makings of an insanely powerful character.

With Tales' it's probably bit of the fact it's a fifth dimensional Imp, even if his portraying it as not being that powerful, it's been shown many times the imps can be so powerful they can break all reality and there for would become to strong, that and his pretty much 3-4 characters in one, and he'll know all inside information about every single character so that to is to much.

Your logic is flawed in many ways. Beast boy is super op if you go by that logic and so is raven. Being a fifth dimensional imp doesn't make any difference if his powers aren't at those levels. I fail to see how you and WizardGirl have any points

I always saw Titans as having a more laid back casual tone, it focused a lot on the members and their personal interaction

The Justice League focused more on the serious action and lacked the fun loving vibe

@Saarebas
lol, well I just liked teen titans because it was just more enjoyable to me, some great funny moments, some learning moments, and some plain out crazy moments. Manhunter doesn't get as much as he deserves that is correct, heck he disappears at one point and just leaves the life of an old man until he is needed again and pops up out of no where turning into a huge monstrosity to fight off an invasion lol.

@Weird Tales
Look back when robin's imp appears in the t.v. series of teen titans... he literally fucks everything up for everybody in many ways. one of the major things about your imp character is he also has massive meta knowledge of DC universe which means he will know the workings of every good guy and bad guy character and therefore there would be no point to anything sense there would no longer be any meaning to seeing how the team would fare against someone. among many other things. Beastboy and raven still have a numerous amount of weaknesses that can affect them and make it easy to defeat them.

@RumikoOhara Agreed, they both have their own great merits and should be appreciated on their own for what they are. But I personally also found myself to the more serious, or as I like to see it as human, moments that the shows offered. Guess that is why I am more drawn to Justice League

EDIT: @olcharlieboi Yeah Manhunter was always my favorite of the original leaguers. His awesome powers paired with a great back story just makes me love the guy to no end.

I grew up watching Teen Titans and loved Starfire's innocence and Raven's cool goth style. The things that Beast boy an Cyborg did were priceless and let's not count out how Robin wasn't as cool as her saw himself

@RumikoOhara I primarily loved the section of teen titans when Beastboy showed his true capabilities, him and robin butted heads a lot but you see exactly why later on when he leads his own team to save robin and other heroes.

true, both had a lot of experience, both had their own methods, and both could be the leader. Just beastboy didn't like being in charge for some reason so that's why he never really fights robin for that position, even though they butted heads on certain situations. Though beastboy's love story half the time is sad and confusing lol. the comics show it in better detail sense it keeps going. unlike the t.v. series of TT that ended idioticly even though there was still more to be had. (I've seen comic pages of what would of been episodes after the one the series ended on.)

@olcharlieboi again where did I list him having those powers? His knowledge is only about stuff that's official canon and not canon to the rp. He would use his knowledge to make fanboy jokes

@Weird Tales
"Bat Mite Jr has encyclopedic knowledge of the DC universe and his very smart when it comes to forms of energy and magic."
That means he knows everything of the universe, doesn't matter if he knows what will happen or not, Just by having that means he would already know everything about every character in the DC universe, so he'd know everything about any villain they'd have to fight, so he can pretty much instantly say their weakness and make the fight pointless. because The characters are still Official Canon even if the events aren't.

<Snipped quote by Kitty>

She gave feedback on the character, which was basically, "He's OP." That was it. What part of his character is OP? How can he not make his character OP? How can he tailor his character to fit the standard? She said the same thing to me: "OP." I went back through my character and deleted things to tone him down and I asked her if it was good. She then says, "He has basic Superman abilities and then some." Okay, so...how is that feedback? Honestly, I'm not going to be a part of this game because a GM who doesn't have time to even be role playing, who doesn't have time for GM responsibility, and who clearly doesn't care about her writers, that's not someone I would write with period. It doesn't even matter if she was a GM or not. It's just selfish and yes, it is very bad administration. I would not waste my time.

<Snipped quote by Weird Tales>
Fifth Dimensional Imps are created to be silly and overpowered, just like Superboy Prime.

<Snipped quote by Weird Tales>
He's basically Deadpool, Starfire, and Miss Martian all in one.

<Snipped quote by Weird Tales>
There would be no trying with a character who knows everything about their team and the enemies.

@Holy Soldier
Do you take the time to read the things she says? Now if you wish to discuss this further PM me, I am not plaguing the OOC with this discussion and you speaking poorly about our GM.

@Saarebas I can't say I have watched the old Animated series of the Justice League, should I?

@Holy Soldier You know, there's a reason I stick to Free. I prefer to have relaxing, fun RPs. If you want to talk about how to calm down your character, then I will.

He has flight, invulnerability/forcefield, heat vision, superbreath, 'intelligence', speed, healing factor, and self-sustenance. It doesn't matter that he isn't actually invulnerable. He can survive any attack and has the added feature of not even taking a hit if he wants.

@Weird Tales As I said before, an Imp is suppose to be a fun character. Theres a reason none of them are major villains, if they wanted to they could beat any superhero or villain in a couple seconds.

But lets ignore like you seem to want us to and instead focus on his knowledge of DC. I don't have an encyclopedic knowledge of DC, yet I know how to easily defeat some DC character. Mister Freeze = Break his mask, Green Lantern = Break their will and concentration, Zatanna/Zatara = Cover their mouth, to name three easy ones. Now imagine if we faced a villain that is harder and our team has to work together to figure it their weakness so they ca-Oh no wait, just ask the character who already knows.

You also mentioned Beast Boy and Raven are OP, yet gave no reasoning. Raven in control of her emotions(Or Raven in white) is OP. Which is why she will never be in this. Beast Boy can only become an earth native animal(sometimes the dimension/world he is on), and never can become mythical creatures like dragons or unicorns.

@WizardGirlOkay, so you pointed those things out, and you know what I would have done? Deleteed them. It wasn't difficult to talk about it. If someone asks you to critique a story for them, you should know that, "This is bad," wouldn't have cut it. They would want to know why? And then they would ask for your opinion/suggestion on what do you think would make it better. If you're not going to do that, then it was easier for you to just tell people interested in your game to "leave" and not get their hopes up.

I had no problem with tailoring Superboy's powers to meet the standards you were looking for. What I had a problem with was you just basically kicking me to the curb and not even offering feedback. It was like, "OP." Next. That's what I thought was disrespectful because I had to constantly ask for the feedback you were refusing to give me until this moment. It's like you were just waiting for an escalation to happen rather than just answering basic questions.

You talk about wanting to "relax" and "enjoy" the game, but you just create drama when you dismiss people's questions. There isn't a rule on this site that says the GM can forego respect to other players because it is his/her game. Being respectful is actually a rule here, and I have already said that I won't be getting involved in this game. But I do hope that this discussion has made you a better person. I don't know if this site has made you bitter over time, but that attitude just wasn't going to fly with me. Good day.

@WizardGirl

One major weakness with Raven is if you prevent her from speaking she wont be able to do her chant, and pretty much weaken her massively. Or just make her emotions to unstable and she wont be able to use her powers. (When starfire and raven switched bodies against puppet master, Starfire couldn't use raven's powers because she didn't know how to control her emotions enough to do so)

@RumikoOhara I like how he posts such a long reply to basically say "I don't care, I just wanted to complain. Also I am leaving."

@Weird Tales Okay, that's fine. And that RP isn't mine, where I am going to have to figure out what villains we face so that each character is tested in their own way.

Apparently this is why it is unwise to go asleep around here, things tend to catch fire. Anyway I hope everyone is okay.

@Kitty If you liked the more serious moments of Teen Titans then yeah, it really does offer a pretty good story for a lot of the superhero/villain characters on the show.
