Ughhh well I must say writing a post in pieces doesn't really improve the quality, at least not for me.
I'm not really satisfied with it. There was a lot to react to and I couldn't get it quite how I wanted it.
Anyways I'll probably be in a better writing state for the next posts.

So I've started the post hopefully I'll be finished by tomorrow but I've got the feeling this one is going to take me longer. But I've got this plot I'm excited to have played out, it really brings a twist and it will require one person to, in a way, save everyone else though it is quite the risk and sacrifice. I want to know who our true hero in the bunch will be.

EDIT: I did it after all without having to post it up tomorrow!

I'm a little confused as to what's going on in the story time wise. How long has it been since the initial conflict? Has Emmett been tied up the whole time? How far have they traveled?

@The New Yorker So time wise, the fight happened right before day break and now it is around nighttime of that same day. Emmett has been tied up the entire time and he still is tied up, but now since he is blind the ropes will serve moreover as a guide. Distance, I'm really not sure other than Rook's goal to make it to the final cache. Oh and another thing, everyone still has their possessions.

Totally just wrote a whole page of text on my character traveling 10 feet and saying "I'm here." I don't really know if that is good or bad.

Floure keeps some of her medicine etc in glass bottles and jars, would they have survived the fall into the abyss?
I mean we all survived due to some miracle but it would make sense for some of those things to break right?

I would think so, yes, but it depends on a few factors.

1. Where was her pack when she fell? On her back, in her hand? How did she land? On her back, face down? It would make sense if she fell on her back, and she carried her pack there, that then some bottles would break.

2. Since they landed in sand/ash, the impact could be lessened considerably, when in regards to how she landed. I would suspect that even if she landed on her back, some bottles would be broken.

Yes it would all depend on where her pack was on her body when she fell. I had the same thoughts about the ass somehow lessening the impact of the fall. It would be fun to have her realize some of them were broken, maybe not right away. Maybe after they get out of there, since her pack isn't really a priority right now.

I don't really know how to get started with my post though. We are in a dark abyss where you can't see your own hand in front of your face. Kind of hard to do anything.
