I'm glad everyone's cool with disaster unfolding. Ha, anyways, I will not be online as frequent as I normally am this week because I'll be busy travelling. Though, don't worry I'll still be able to make posts just not as quickly. Before proceeding, I'm giving everyone a chance to post about the fall, but I'm planning for us to not spend too much time down there. Since, as you probably know by now, the abyss leads up to something rather awesome that I just can't wait to have happen.

EDIT: Decided to go ahead and work on a post now to get things going.

Alright the post is up, though not as action-packed as I wanted it, but I decided it be better to have one more post before jumping right into another scene, maybe even a battle scene.

@The New Yorker Happy to hear your still with us, you had me worried for a second there.

So, lately I have been juggling with some ideas as the main quest goal will soon be revealed. And now, well, I think I have mostly all of it together. There is one NPC character I for sure wanted in the roleplay that could be a great adversary or a great ally. Right now, I'm leaning more towards having him as an ally to treat as a guide for the roleplay. I could spoil who it is now or save it for later, since you will soon be discovering who it is anyways. What do you guys think?

Wait and reveal it in game. That way we don't have that "oh, I'm supposed to team up with you" temptation. Likewise it will be fun if people are posting in the OOC their shock (if it is shocking.)

@Deserted Thank you for the feedback. Yeah, I usually don't ever spoil anything about the plot and even if I wish to discuss it for suggestions I try to find someone to talk through it. But I put it out there since I was afraid if I didn't, keeping you guys in the dark would bring lost interest to the roleplay. But its good to hear that you would rather want it as a secret.

From some of the great rps I've participated in, the GM never revealed any secrets to us outright, rather made clear what the goal was for the group to accomplish, that way it kept everyone on track, avoided speed posting, and everyone knew how to move their characters along. Such as, have all characters get from point A to point B in their posts. And when it came to suggesting key points in the plot, they would make tiny hints in the OOC. Very obscure hints, leaving us to wonder what the next post would entail. I've noticed that this keeps the interest of the players equally gauged for the duration of the rp. Just a tip from my extensive years of role playing.

I'll have time to write a post in the weekend. I've noticed the activity has simmered down a bit, that's usually normal after the roleplay has been going fast for a while. Hopefully we'll just carry on as usual.

@dreamingflowers That's very reassuring. Yeah, I can't help but feel when a roleplay slows down that I somehow failed as a GM to keep the story interesting or making sense. So, thank you :)

@Fetzen I won't lie, I've been anticipating Othen going berserk on the rogues! But yeah, its no problem.
