Haha, yeah. My mum was freakishly liberal with that kind of stuff, and everything else to be honest. I watched rated 18 horror movies when I was quite a bit younger than that. She apparently found it funny how I'd move further and further away from the TV until I'd be hiding behind a pillow on the sofa. I'm still not a fan of the horror genre, partly because of all the nightmares I had when I was really young. She a bitch, but a cool one.

Also, horror movies? HAH. You know of a show called scream queens? I thought i'd watch it since it was a joke and not supposed to be scary.

However. I got freaked the freak out and couldn't handle a lot of it. THE JUMPSCARES MANG. I DON'T CARE IF IT'S A STUPID DEVIL MASK IT TERRIFIED ME. AND THE MUSIC. JESUS CRAP MANG.

My parents too fall into the category of "You're 7 years old and we're watching this movie right now so if you want our attention for today you're gonna have to sit here and watch people have sex, get murdered, say any curse word imaginable and anything like that. All of that and more were already happening at home anyways- so seeing it on tv wasn't that big of a shocker.

My parents never cared about the movie I wanted to watch if they didn't want to watch it. Well, my dad. I remember when I wanted to watch a kids movie that was pg-13 but my father thought it'd be boring so he lied and said he'd take me then ended up showing me a violent as fuk awesome rated R movie. Just because he wanted to see it.

My Mom would never really let me watch that kind of stuff, so my Dad and I would watch it whenever she wasn't home. My two older sisters would also take me with them whenever they wanted to see an violent R/PG-13 rated film. After a while she just stopped trying to monitor what I watched . I guess it stopped being a problem when she realized that horror movies never really gave me nightmares. They were never scary, more so comical.

Aye, same. One good thing about that though is all the usually angsty teenage shit seems boring/unimpressive when you're used to seeing your parents do it, haha.

Noticed things have slowed down a lot- I know school is starting for a lot of ya.
