Still accepting? It's been a while since I took a dive in the ASoIaF setting, so pardon me if it's subpar.

@AtomicNut We're still accepting but there are a few issues. Firstly, the only people who have ever survived going near Old Valyria were (possibly) Euron and his crew. Everyone else has disappeared or died. Attempting to travel there is a feat reserved only for the truly foolhardy, bordering on insane. A random mercenary company would not make the attempt because any profit would have been overridden by the enormous losses and the extremely minuscule chances of returning. Simply sailing by the place is usually death, stepping on there would be all kinds of hell.

Secondly, the only ones who've so far managed to take control of dragons are the Targs. Any lone person managing to hatch a dragon would have caused a massive political shitstorm as everyone in Essos immediately tries to capture or kill the dragon, which they very well could if it's still in adolescence, and the Iron Throne tries its damnedest to track down the rider to make sure they aren't a threat. For story reasons, right now the only dragon riders are part of the Targ dynasty or closely tied to it. If you want your own dragon-riding character I would suggest you could play Aegon Targaryen or his children, since Aegon is the rider of Viserion. Since he is living in Dorne now you could even explain him having such martially inclined children that way.

Other than that the sheet looks fine.

@Masterkeun That's fine take your time.

So that is where you draw the lines. Back to the drawing board i guess. I wanted to add said shitstorm to be fair.

If I might interject, and more so for my own sake of curiosity, what is the disposition of the two dragons, one wild, one tamed, that escaped during the Dance of Dragons? The Dragon Sheepstealer, flown by Nettles, and the wild dragon Cannibal, both dipped out during the Dance of Dragons, and in conjunction with these two Dragons, what is the disposition of all the other eggs? I think it was mentioned in the back story that the Ruins of Summerhall had some eggs, but the lore touches base about a number of other eggs that are either MIA/unaccounted for, excluding the egg of Prince Aerion Targeryen, which my character currently possess. ((By no means trying to stir the pot, but maybe this would be a more acceptable means of having an egg, rather than a fully hatched dragon. These eggs would be very valuable, but perhaps a reasonable and convincing backstory/history/biography could explain how you have gotten your hands onto an egg, and what your hopes are to do with that egg.))

unless I'm much mistaken Cannibal escaped over the whispers into the Vale where he was tamed by a wild witch who essentially formed the burned men creating their ritual out of dragonflame.

@Winston Smith Another fandom theory is that that dragon is Sheepstealer.

@Abefroeman I will say that the fate of Sheepstealer/Nettles, and Cannibal will actually be expanded on further in the story and have pretty sizable implications on the plot. If someone wants to know more to possibly build a sheet using those characters as part of the background, everyone's free to PM me.

As for the mystery eggs, I would assume the majority of them were found in the ruins of Summerhall, and are being kept close at hand. However, I would think it's possible that the Essosi nobility, especially those who have blood ties to Valyria might have an egg as an heirloom and there could be some in Asshai.

I've been very tempted to create a character a la Nettles, as her backstory is rather curious.

Alright, v2 incoming. I guess I'll have to drop the dragon now.

Edit: More like v2.1, adjusting Lysara's age a bit.

I'm going to break with tradition and try to write part of my next post from a woman's perspective. Any female players will have to excuse me for the story cliches that will undoubtedly abound. I know you're not from a (completely) different species but sometimes I do think we approach situations in completely differently manners and this is coming from someone with two sisters. Constructive criticism is welcome.

@Winston Smith

I've RP'd female characters a lot, it's a weird thing, can play them off in lots of different funny ways too, there's sometimes huge differences, sometimes very few. I'm very mature about it. Though....

@AtomicNut

Daaamn, Lysara has titties. "Court at own risk"....that's literally inviting in Ellion, he likes risky (even though there'd be a long list of people in Westeros, male and female wanting to castrate him at the end of it). I always see Alerie as being ample, but her face is far more pretty than...well, what lies beyond the dress :D (right, that's my NSFW comment of the day)

Well... I ended up roleplaying females just by commodity. I dunno, more roles and whatnot available. I'm mostly hopeless at it, but since i'm trying to have fun, i don't really care...

@kingkonrad She certainly is and you'll learn about her ultimate fate in the story, rest assured.

@AtomicNut I imagine that company must have been pretty prominent for the Captain to have such a prize, and two heirs to an old house running away with a dragon egg will surely cause a stir. I'm sensing some courting opportunities. Accepted.

@Winston Smith I think I play my women alright but maybe I've been getting it horribly wrong and nobody's told me yet.

@Masterkeun Good post, but I'd like to point out that the Targs bonding with their dragons for life has made them pretty amiable. We hear tales of dragons being ridden for pleasure all the time. The Targs gave the boy Lord Arryn a ride on a dragon in order to bring in the Vale. They designed special saddles for dragon riding so the riders didn't get freaking cut by the spikes. So I don't really think the dragons would mind or that they'd be mad enough to kill some servants. It wouldn't be out of the ordinary for the Targ kids to take their dragons on rides at all.

I am sensing some stronger than bromance vibes from Steffon though ;p

Also I thought the collab was with @Nightwing95? Where you at man? I forgot to put in an interaction between Rhaegar and Jon in my last update but I'll put it in the next.

I will try my best to have something up by either Thursday or Friday.

@MrDidact Well, they pretty much angered a few, like the Magister who didn't get the egg, the mercenary Captain and their men, and probably friends of their household since they poisoned their father and fled.

So, where do I start?

@AtomicNut Well perhaps the pair signed on as sellswords in some lordlings retinue and were involved in some of the festivities, and they get involved in all the chaos.

Then they catch the attention of some prominent people.

I was thinking they were at the inn and they lament their luck. Seran tells Lysara to flee with civilians as there's safety in numbers and he goes to stall the fuglies.
