Hello! I'm Altair, I'm an undergraduate university student and while I'm on spring break I thought I'd get back into roleplaying by joining this forum.
I've been into roleplaying for about 7 years now. I have experience with play by post and IRC roleplaying, mostly nation roleplays, and character based fantasy and science fiction roleplays. I have some table top experience as well and I've been LARPing a couple times. With college, work and other responsibilities, it's been a while since I've been involved in or dedicated to an rpg, so my roleplaying skills are quite rusty.
I enjoy roleplays that have a slower pace with more in-depth, complex lore and a couple paragraphs per post. I prefer science fiction and/or post apocalyptic genres, but also like fantasy, table top, horror, and history/alternate history RPGs.
Non-RP things: My favorite video games are Elder Scrolls, Far Cry, the Last of Us and Dark Souls. My favorite movies are Star Wars, Amadeus, Braveheart and Superman. My favorite TV shows are Hannibal, Sherlock, The X-files, and Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency. I love to read, and my favorite author is Isaac Asimov. I'm into martial arts, chess, programming, I play piano, and I collect comic books.
Upon review of this post I realize how much I sound like a geek/nerd/something haha.
