Apologies, I have a lot on my plate at the moment. Worst case scenario, I'll have to give up on the collab. It was meant to have Priya suspended for a number of reasons including interference with an ongoing investigation, over stepping her jurisdiction, collaborating with a vigilante and aiding and abetting known criminals.

Basically the repercussions of a cold case detective telling special ops what to do, letting hookers go scotch free and just generally being where she shouldn't since she's cold case not homicide or special ops.

Just meant that you will not have to put as much time/effort into NPCs. Whether that is something you did or did not want to do is not what I was saying.

Also, this month on the 19-25th I will be traveling to DC to do standard tourist in DC stuff that I don't even remember how I got roped into going but free plane ticket and hotel room so I'm not complaining. I may delay a post (if applicable) if the Wi-fi sucks (Like Hell I'm leaving my laptop) or I might not be delayed in writing depending on the activities.

Now to get mentally prepared to order BYOC tickets at Quakecon, I missed both BlizzCon ticket waves so I'll be dammed if I miss my alternative...

Alright guys, I apologize again for the slow progress. I'm trying to meet a deadline for a technical report and it's kicking my butt. If I don't manage to get something up over the next couple days I will definitely just take some time to hammer out a post for you all.

@Lord Wraith It's cool man, life has been kicking my butt recently too. And it doesn't look like it's gonna stop anytime soon.

My birthday is on Wednesday. My Brother and his family are coming down on Thursday to visit for a few days. But I should be free after Sunday, plus I'll be on annual leave again. So I'll be able to catch up then.

Suspension will stay on her file and will be taken into account every time a decision is made about any transfers, promotions, pay raises, bonuses, or further punishments are made. Also, while she is technically 'off' work, she's also not allowed to work on any ongoing cases or pursue any investigations or be assigned any new cases, and any currently open cases she's handling will be passed to someone else (although admittedly this doesn't mean much as she works in Cold Cases). She's also not allowed on-site at her precinct.

Also, given the character's drive, forced time off seems like it might irritate her - go a bit stir-crazy?

Right? Like Priya may actually want another complaint.

The thing is...Priya likes her job. So being away for a month would bother her, especially dealing with her sister's case still. Being on desk duty is a pretty big slap on the wrist for her.

She, of course, will still do what she feels is best.
