Hey everyone!

I'm not the best writer, plot-creator, or world builder but something just plopped right into my mind and I can't seem to get it out.

I'm interested in a roleplay that has various amounts of fantastical races specifically including; Humans, Elves, Angels/(Avians), and Beastfolk with their providing subraces. With these four reigning races, they would live in a roleplay setting right before a massive war and then surviving that war.

The world, where the characters play in would be heavily high-fantasy with magic airships, possibly magic-guns, practically anything that you could put 'magic' onto, it'd exist. Sort of like Fairy Tail in the sense of technology, some appear modern or even SCI-FI in certain regional areas and in other areas it'd retract to a more gritty, almost realistic medieval setting.

This is all I've got so far put onto the table, and to restate I'm no creator of massive stories, so if anyone would like to possibly join in maybe help create and expand on the ideas I already have or maybe even rewrite please PM me!

I'm super into high fantasy myself! I'm very interested in this RP idea of high fantasy with airships and guns!!

I love more classical/old-school D&D type of adventures and stuff! Combat and tension's always good stuff. I love to read fantasy books like LotR series to Drizzt books to The Black Company books. I'm actually in a Paid Pathfinder campaign right now that's in a custom campaign (our GM is frickin amazing) that involves airships, less magic, guns, and all sorts of awesome stuff!

I wouldn't be worried at all about some big epic storyline. I feel like a lost of PbP RP's get too dragged down by trying to make some big epic story line when really all you need is a general idea and some players actually writing some simple plot-lines together! I'm more than willing to help out with some of the basic details to just get it rolling.

Question: Would you be okay with dwarves in this world of yours (I would love to RP a dwarf, but I can very easily RP a human or elf or w/e, just curious)?

And regarding your question about dwarves, of course! I haven't even fully fleshed out anything yet so dwarves or any other fantastical race will most likely be available.

And towards the roleplay, I've always wanted to play in worlds similar to Fairy Tail, Full Metal Alchemist, or FFXIV. I've always enjoyed the bizarre and flashy magics or the crazy landscapes with interesting monsters to defeat.

Hopefully, once more people get interested we can all come together to create a storyline for the ages! >:D

I would love to make a dwarf gunslinger type! ie: He's unable to use arcane magic himself, but with powerful crafting enchantments/ancient rune magic he can create magically enhanced guns/ammo to use for different situations. Not sure on his occupation, bounty hunter is so cliche. Probably his occupation would be gunsmith; everybody has to make a living somehow.

That's cool we've got a decent amount of peeps interested already! As far as epic story, I feel like there's no need for any grandiose backstory/plot. Just getting it started with a decent general idea/location is all that's needed. More important to just get IC posts started, then further development can proceed more naturally and easily! No need to put ourselves into a thing where we get worried about making some impossibly epic intro post that is bound to just induce writers block!

Hey everyone! I just got off of work and I'm surprised by the number of people interested!

Ahhh~ I'm already stoked >:OOOO

On a serious note, I'm seriously glad this amount of people showed interest. I'm sure once we're all able to communicate in a faster area, we'll all be able to create bomb ideas!

Regarding the roleplay, I've envisioned a few things for the current group. Once we connect together via discord or some other group chat platform we'll all start working together to create a general storyline and from that we'll world build, create magic systems, determine technological advances, and all that and once we've set up the 'legs' of the roleplay we'll then decide on who will be the 'DM, Gamemaster, or Whatever. " whether that will be one person or multiple. These DMs/Gamemasters will have the ability to push the group forward and backwards, these are the people who will introduce you to new areas, initiate events, and the like.

Other than that if there ever comes a moment we're were all in disagreement, in disarray and it comes to the moment where a choice is needed to be made or someones acting irregular then I will most likely be the person to say NO! But hopefully, that won't happen.

I hope this isn't overwhelming for you guys, I just really want to create a world with like-minded people!

I'm curious as to how this might all work.

I do love me some world building, especially the high fantasy sorts, so here's some tentative interest. Suppose we'll see how exactly all of our interests align if we'll be making this together.

Would we use the Guild’s discord or should we get our own discord channel?

I would think it better if we made our own discord.

I'm down for world building, it's one of my favorite aspects as story writing. I can make maps, cool geographical features, even magical areas. I can also help work on the physics and laws around how magic works. Though I like building worlds, I'd need someone else's input for things like governments, kingdoms, and legal laws since my interest lacks when it comes to that.

I can help you with that @Randomness. I like looking for awesome concept art and than making nations and geographical regions around that art.

And for this roleplay I'll be making a group chat for all of us so that it'll be easier to communicate in a less crowded area.
