Lucas can perceive the history of an object through proximity with it. This history can be anything from where it’s been and who or what interacted with it, to how it moved and what its purpose was. In Lucas’ case, object means any inanimate thing that has been shaped or made by humans. In general, foods don’t count, but some highly processed foods might.

Also, while Lucas would call them memories, as they feel like active processes in his brain, the glimpses he gets of the past are more like recordings layered over each other. Similar acts make similar recordings meld together and become stronger, while the less repeated, less insistent activities get lost in the shuffle. They’re still there, every minute of every day since the object first became whole is caught up in its shape, they just aren’t as easy to tease out. Or, as Lucas reacts to each recording running through his mind, he might drag free the more unusual moments that something has to offer simply by unconsciously focusing on them. In a similar vein, external stimulus can prompt a shift in the sort of recordings being broadcasted. Climbing up stairs might bring up the memory of all the other feet that have weighed them down. And greetings are often echoed by a multitude of voices.

He has a range of about 5’ with nearby objects; the smaller they are, the closer he has to be to them, usually. But memories can bleed together through walls or connected objects, and sometimes buildings, particularly large ones that see lots of activity, broadcast memories from up to 50’ away. For an object to transmit a recording to him, Lucas doesn’t need to be touching it, and he doesn’t choose whether or not it does, but the transmissions will remain mostly incoherent until he does touch the object. Once in contact with it, he has more control over what information he receives, but it’s mostly just a method of making things clearer and easier to understand or focus on (like tuning into a radio station).

Every object tends to have something that it retains better than others. For instance, reflective materials can record images, not always clearly, but usually enough to at least create some play of light and shadow. Windows and mirrors are the best. Almost all objects collect sound, though walls do it especially well, and more porous materials can best retain scent. And cloth, clothing in particular for obvious reasons, absorbs a lot of emotional tells. None of them record taste, however. And the sense of touch is often relegated to recording the temperature and varying amounts of pressure, though some of the finer details of object interaction are preserved.

It also does not come with any miraculous translating abilities, so while he can hear someone talking, if he doesn’t know the language, he’s not going to know what they’re saying. And while he can use more complex screens, the only reading he gets off them is a light aura around them. If he tried for anything more, he’d probably suffer the worst migraine ever.

As every sensation is from the object’s point of reference, this excludes them from recording such things as pain, pleasure, fatigue, and some movement, but this doesn’t guarantee that Lucas won’t find the feedback uncomfortable. Each transmitted sensation is almost always intrusive and can be confusing, even if it isn’t unpleasant. So, even if he’s prepared, big events and busy buildings can be remarkably overwhelming. As he cannot turn it off without either depleting his supply of HZEs or wearing an inhibitor, he’s almost always at least a little distracted or tired, even at his best, and often has a hard time focusing on the here and now. Any sudden influx of recorded memories leaves him relatively unresponsive and unaware of his surroundings for a time, so he doesn’t like using the inhibitor for multiple reasons.

Tista’s ability relies on her use of HZE released from pours on her palms to manipulate the gravity of non-living objects and living beings. It allows for her to be able to remove the gravity of things making it as though they are within an area that has zero gravity, where there is no up or down, they simply float. She can also manipulate it to make the gravity of whatever she's focused on seem even more dense. Making them feel heavier than what is normal on the Earth's gravity. With enough focus she can also allow herself to levitate a few feet off the ground, though she is incapable of moving backwards or forwards. She simply floats above ground about 2 feet.

Tista can only ever manipulate the gravity of an object/person that she has touched, otherwise it would look like a sad attempt of trying to move an object with your mind and failing miserably. The reason being that she has to have let some of the HZE ions that expel from her palms to come in contact with the surface of the thing she desires to make float or compress.

Just because she can distort the gravity of objects/people doesn't mean it can’t weigh down on her, she simply cannot (for now) hold up objects that are above her weight, its near impossible for her as anything she lifts gets added to her own gravity mass, this leads into how long she can manage to hold up objects/people. 5 minutes is the current amount of time she can hold something that is 50 lbs. and above before she has to drop the object as it weighs down on her too much. Which would end up having her get nauseous and face planting straight to the ground in a very ungraceful manner.

Despite how upbeat, outgoing and positive Tista is about her ability and using it. She by no means doubts that she can cause a lot of damage. Her biggest fear and weakness that hinders her growth is the thought that she may end up losing control of the amount of gravity she places or removes on someone resulting in them either being squashed to death by the force or floating up, up, up and away without her being able to control bringing them back down safely. Her second biggest weakness has to do more with actually being able to use her ability, if her hands are restricted or bound in anyway, even if she has touched the object/person she wants to manipulate the gravity of. She would be unable to, that's why she usually strays away from hand holding or hugging.

The Anatomical Hive Hyper-Gene is an interesting study into Esoteric-Somatic form. In essence, Jonna’s Hyper-Gene changes her anatomical and physiological structures to both be and accommodate the Apis mellifera or common European Honey Bee. As for the bees, they appear, by all accounts, like normal honey bees. However, some key differences exist. First, their developmental life cycles, while normally measured in weeks, are now measured in hours with fully adult bees capable of being so only a few hours after birth. Their birth, by the way, is a product of HZE-Ions in the marrow of Jonna’s bones. Their rapid development is reliant upon the HZE-Ion supplying the energy to make it so. At peak conditions, Jonna is capable of housing a swarm of 30,000 bees but conditions for this are scarcely available.

Among this change is the vast network of hexagon comb structures that replace most of Jonna’s organs, namely her muscles. Instead the comb structure is the organ that clings to the bone and skin, forming channels from their many layers to allow bees to travel throughout the internal part of Jonna’s body. The walls of the comb structure house a few physiological pathways that make functioning possible for Jonna, such as the nervous and endocrine systems. Under this new structure, Jonna proves more or less the same on the outside. She still walks, talks, and all without any apparent differences. Her strength and speed are more or less the same as a woman of her weight and height. One notable difference is that she is lighter and able to land with more of a cushion as the honeycomb flexes and moves to provide her the ability to move naturally. One significant difference is that wounds that do not break her bones or target the head, are essentially unfelt. She has no blood in that regards as well. Instead, her reliance is upon the bees to keep her alive.

The bees are vital to Jonna’s existence as they function as a new form of circulatory system and give Jonna life as she knows it. They function as a means to repair and maintain the comb structure of Jonna’s form. They also serve as her protector from harm. Each worker bee is capable of releasing from a special gland, a type of hemoglobin wax that will reseal wounds and recover broken honeycomb structures caused by external damage. Gashes, cuts, and stabbings do not bother Jonna as these can be easily repaired. Bees are directed by an altered endocrine system which functions more as a swarm pheromone under Jonna’s new form. Key relays weave themselves through the honeycomb walls to spread any direction that Jonna provides swiftly to the swarm.

Jonna does not directly share mind with the swarm but can translate pheromone signals she receives back from the bees. The bees, themselves, are capable of understanding and relaying simple messages as one would expect from any regular hive. The bees also generate regular honey and wax.

–Drone pheromone relay will allow Jonna to rapidly pass pheromone-encoded messages through the use of drones would be a slight upgrade in intelligence compared to the worker bees. Workers will vastly outnumber the drones by 1000:1. Milestone requirement is scientific instruction or some stronger motivation to improve ability.

–Jonna’s own set of insect wings. She’d be able to fly up to 30 mph but this requires some type of mechanic to power up HZE-Ions within her.

Jonna does not control the swarm but directs it. Each individual bee does behavior on its own and at no point can Joanna directly influence a bee to do anything. Everything must be relayed via pheromone messaging. Additionally the bees are only capable of doing what you’d expect of a bee. Joanna cannot make the bees dance, sing, or illustrate elaborate maps. They are bees and have slightly higher intelligence compared to any other swarm of bees.

Additionally swarm reproduction rely on HZE-Ion use. If Jonna reaches her limit on HZE-Ion use then the reproduction of bees approaches days, even weeks of time for fully adult bees to be born. This would balance out, I believe, to Jonna suddenly losing her hive form.

Additionally, enough exposure to EBI or any inhibitor will revert Jonna back to a regular human anatomy temporarily. The makeup of her hive form comprises everything the human body has and the DNA would be able to rewrite under the HZE-Ion reaction to reform. Jonna would pass out and awake an hour or so later as a normal human. If she was not exposed to EBI or any inhibitor for an hour or two, then she’d pass out again and she’d revert back to her hive anatomy.

Smoke would calm the swarm and make them less responsive. It would also have the side-effect of Jonna nearly passing out and remaining in a rather lax state.

Water would be any body of water that goes past her waist. The swarm would be susceptible to drowning and falling into the water might as well be a death sentence for her. Additionally she does not know how to swim adding to the danger of being submerged past her chest.

Fire would be a means of swiftly eradicating the swarm. There is also the aspect of smoke that can affect the swarm and Jonna. There is a danger of Jonna’s swarm being reduced in number significantly and then being inhibited or introduced to EBI that could be lethal as the bees do make up some of the biological matter she needs.

Cold represents anything just above freezing temperatures as the swarm would be unable to leave Jonna due to the cold. While Jonna can manage in cold weather with the swarm keeping her warm and her keeping the swarm warm, it would be rather miserable.
