Thanks for letting me know. I realize that Fate doesn’t gel with everyone so it’s perfectly understandable.

I hope it doesn’t seem like I’m rushing you. I was mostly just wondering if you guys had any questions I can answer. Honestly, I realize that people have lives off the forum and as such there is no rush on finishing a character. I believe with RPs that fun should come first, and as such you can take as much time as you need.

Sorry to tag you all again but I have an important update. I'm not going to be on the guild for about a week. I'm taking a short trip, my first one in forever, to go across the province I live in to attend a friend's wedding. I'm coming back Tuesday night, so realistically I won't be online until Wednesday. Once I am back, I will put up the OOC thread as it seems it's just you guys interested in this, unless someone else comes along in the days I'm away.

Also as for the rushing thing, no worries I didn’t think you were rushing me. I know people can just drop off the guild and games (I’m guilty of that sometimes) so a poke and a prod for interest isn’t going to hurt my feelings

So I’m back from my trip, taking an extra day to just chill. Thanks for all the well wishes as it was a lot of fun. Anyways like I said, I’m posting the OOC today.

It’s mostly the same information, save I added the house rule about exchanging part of your extras for a point of refresh and I also included the example character. Rush, since your character is done, you can post it in the Characters tab.

Here's the answer to those questions:
  • First we are using the Fate Core system alongside a Star Wars system hack. Both PDFs can be found in the first post.
  • Second is that this is set during the Galactic Civil War, specifically three months after the destruction of the First Death Star.
  • Third is that you guys are playing as people attempting to join the Rebel Alliance. Right now we have a no Jedi rule, though I might accept some other Force using traditions.
