"Here," Saya said as she tried to hold the bag of gold up to him. It was a pretty difficult task since she wasn't that strong, but she managed to hold it up enough. "He gave some back."

I gave a warm smile to my bag with some returning gold in it, and the girl who presented it to me. "Thank you for bringing this to me." I said, taking the heavy bag off of her burden with ease. "I won't forget this. Stranger, if you ever need a favor, call upon me. Sir Fafnir, at your service." I'd stand up, and gave her a proper bow with one hand on my chest. "You wouldn't happen to have any favors needed now, would you?" Though my voice was still rough and deep it had a certain enchanting tone to it, like the soft ambient crackling of a fire.

Watching the young boy speaking the older woman, Nilos felt bad interrupting but being that this boy looks less threatening, he took a chance as the boy turned to look at him and Nilos looked back down with a nervous look in his eyes but a gentle smile wearing on his face. Looking over at the older woman quickly gather her things, his attention was brought back to the young fellow going by the name of Saghira. He seemed quite friendly and talkative. he obviously looked like he lived in the town the way he was dressed and what Nilos just noticed with the sharpened teeth and black claws he sported....almost like a kitten in Nilos eyes. Poor looking, dressed in rags, he wondered why such a child would not be well taken cared of.

Introducing himself and trying to introduce the lady that dipped out on him, Nilos quietly chuckled from the funny scene before speaking up. "It's a pleasure to meet you Saghira. That lady must've been in a rush. " he smiled "I-I'm Nilos...." he said with a slight bow. "Are you from this town?" he asked even though he didn't have to ask something obvious. "I just arrived today and I...um....well I was uh..wondering..I-If y-you could...sh-show me...around?" he said twiddling his index fingers feeling bashful about asking someone for help, not knowing what the boy would say.

Oh! he must've hit a nerve. Bala watched the man respond with a hint of anger and really, Bala didn't find him threatening but amusing. Hiding his amusement by his reaction, Bala raised an eyebrow and placed his palms up as they faced Rorack. he was going to have to approach him differently now. "Whoa whoa now, I didn't mean any harm or disrespect by that. It's just, looking at your tail...it looks like that of a dragon's and was just guessing. Plus I've never seen you here before....." he looked him up and down and placed his hands in his pocket as there was something strapped to the boy's back that looked like a stick. "I'm Bala...I'm a resident here...I'm sorry about my attitude earlier...I've just dealt with some nasty people and they sort of rubbed off on me. They think just because I look feminine, they could just treat me any way..." he said.

"Okay..hopefully this should calm him but....his reaction. Why would a noble or pure blood be worried about someone knowing their status? usually they are proud of their status and would not hesitate to remind people of who and what they are...they wouldn't even look at me in the eyes and would basically demand things...almost like he did but he just wanted to know my name and his speech...he didn't sound like he was from the streets like me. he sounded plenty educated. So....the thing I'm concluding is, he's trying to hide his status so to not be treated like one...as if he's bored of that life, or he's hiding from someone by not making himself known, or...he's just upset that a slave class like me figured him out already and talked to him like I did." he thought to himself trying to read Rorack's expression

"Now?" Saya thought about it for a moment. She then took out the list she was given before and looked it over. "Have you seen a shop that sells rice?" she asked. She didn't really need anything at the moment, except for directions. She didn't come into town often enough to know where every shop was.

I puzzled on the thought for a moment, trying to recall when I smelled rice. After a minute or two later, I'd point to my left. "Down that way I recall seeing a rice stand." I said, happy that I could assist.

Saya smiled a little, which wasn't as rare as it would seem with her attitude. "Thank you." she said before beginning to go in that direction. She stopped abruptly though, almost causing a person to walk into her. The person walked around her, glaring at her. She turned back to Fafnir and said, "I am Saya."

"May fate have our paths cross again, Saya." I smiled back before walking in the opposite direction, most of the bystanders would have to move away from intimidating size. I'd sling the sac of gold over my shoulder, next to a massive axe that was big even for my height.

"THat's always nice to see old friends, although I don't have many so I wouldn't quite know," Lapis said laughing slightly before hearing the bodyguard tell Alex someone was watching him. She watched as he peered over her head and spoke to someone behind her. Lapis turned and stood off to the side slightly looking at the girl curious of what she wanted.

Saghira mulled this over, rolling his head side to side as he considered the questions. After a moment, he licked his lips and said, "Yes and no. I'm from many places. But I don't see why not--what were you looking for, then?"

Then he rose to his feet and folded his arms, wide smile still aimed at Nilos.

The market district was filled with all manner of people, smells, sights and sounds. Near the center of all the chaos a young woman had arrived with her horse and wagon and was about to start a show, she didn't really know another way to make more money for herself, she was a master blacksmith and every time she tried to work under a blacksmith, her work would be so much better than their own that they would send her away saying things like, "I can teach you nothing...maybe someone else will hire you..." Eventually she started to run low on money and she had no intention begging her dad for it. So she had to decide how she was going to make some money and as she was sleeping a few nights before, she had an idea. She was going to put on quite the show and perhaps sell some of her creations.

Titania stood at a somewhat empty area in the massive crowd and then laid down her mat and set out quite a few items on a small folding table she had built less than twenty minutes ago. She sat out each Item carefully taking a moment to tune each one up a bit or sharpen some of the swords and weapons she was selling with the tips of her fingers quickly so no one noticed. After she was done setting up she reached into her big bag of stuff and pulled a little device that looked somewhat like a tiny bugel connected to some kind metal device. Titania turned the machine one and then spoke through it, the little machine making her voice much much louder echoing around the market, "People of Brythine...Come one, come all for your chance to see a very strange girl doing amazing things with metal, See living creatures of steel and Iron, weapons of greater quality for cheaper and amazing items that will change your life. If you like what you see you can purchase some of these amazing items. The show starts in five minutes." Titania turned off the machine after that and as people began approaching she started explaining all the different items and what they could do. Most people weren't to interested in buying her machines but she kept right on smiling brightly and selling tools and some weapons, all money was good money.

Walking up to them she personality changed to what it truly was. "Well you see I found something that may be of interest to you," Roxane said with a crooked smile looking at Alexander, "I found this piece of paper on the bounty board over there and well....let's say your sister is of interest to someone dead. I shall leave this with you, to see how you want to handle it." Grabbing the torn poster she flipped her hand and held the pieces of paper between her middle and ring finger. Turning to the performer the crazy girl scoffed.

The sudden attitude change from Bala made Rorack tilt his head. Because he looks feminine? Yes he has a tiny physique but I wouldn't say feminine. "Oh, I didn't know. Please forgive me for taking my anger out on you," the male said with a slight bow, "You would not have seen me in this part of Brythine as I lived on the outer rim." He pointed in the direction of his father's castle which could visibly be seen in the distance.

Lapis watched as the girl approached something seeming off a bit about her as she began to speak. When she mentioned the bounty on Alex's sister Lapis' eyes widened in shock. She hadn't met the girl but she didn't know why someone would want the sister of someone so high up like Alex dead. Lapis decided in that moment she would offer to protect his sister and help him in any way she could. Then she watched as the girl turned to her and scoffed. "What?" She asked staring at her and furrowing her eyebrows.

Thinking for a moment and happy for the fact the kid was going to be able to help him. Watching Saghira carefully and backed up a little to give him room, Nilos looked around his surroundings. "Um...I-I was wanting to find m-maybe a.....map for...travel...and...I would like...to see...what attractions this town have." naming the requests never being around a very lively environment before.

"Oh no, it's my fault for mouthing off first. But thank you for your offer of apology." looking over to the area he pointed to, Bala smirked "Ah....I see...no wonder. Well thank you for telling me your home but he probably won't tell me willingly why he's here and why he wants to keep his status secret. But let's see how far this takes us..." Bala nodded from catching the view of the castle "Looks like a wonderful place. Honestly, I'd rather be in such a place like that than here in this dusty heap of land." sounding admired about the castle and then turned again "Oh! my apologies...I think I missed your name..."

"Ah, I am Rorack," he replied with a flick of his tail, "Trust me when I say you would enjoy it here more than there." Though I doubt you would survive one day in that castle, all the needy clients my father gets in a single day he would probably use you for profit. Shifting himself to lean on the wall of the brothel he starting looking Bala up and down again attempting to figure out his stamina and strength.

With a warm smile "It's a pleasure to meet you Rorack....and honestly....people who are down here would think differently being that they've never been in the castle unless sold off or hired." Bala watched Rorack for a moment "Awww look at him trying to size me up and figure me out. There's more to me than what meets the eye my spoiled, high privileged, acquaintance." Thinking for a moment "Would you like to step from the sun for a bit? How about a drink?" he offered. "Or did you have something else planned? I don't want to intrude..." Bala checked Rorack up and down "I think the black market would love to have him...or....he can help me jump from rags to riches...he seems to be in wonder shape...I'm fighting the temptation to test him...."

Alexander took the flyer from the girl and looked it over. A frown formed upon his face as he read it over, not seeing the name of the one who set the bounty. He assumed that it was one of his enemies, and they targeted his sister since she was an easy target, probably setting a bounty so it wouldn't get too personal. The corner of his mouth turned up in a smirk for a split second. "This is indeed troublesome." He said. He proceeded to crumple the paper up in his hands. "Thanks for letting me know." he said with a small smile before handing the flyer to one of the bodyguards to get rid of somewhere. Whoever it was that set the bounty, they had made a great mistake by messing with the Leonhearts.

Saya nodded before quickly heading to the rice stall.

She got three small sacks of rice and put them into a bigger sack. "Thank you, put in a good word to Mr. Leonheart for me." The gorgon who ran the stand said. Saya nodded. If she saw her brother, she would definitely do that. "Thank you." she said quietly before going to get the vegetables. By the time she finished with the shopping list, the large white sack she had was nearly full and she had some eggs in her other hand.

"Thank you but I plan to leave town shortly as I plan to venture out and chart the unknown," Rorack's eyes lightened up when talking about his dream. Catching Bala eyeing him caused Rorack to close his eyes and rub his face. Oh this is not easy in the slightest leaving this attractive boy. Heavily sighing he pondered what he should chose.

"I saw part of your performance earlier and found it rather boring," Roxane said to Lapis. Tsk, really what a shame that this girl isn't set on the dark performances. Turning back to Alexander she cocked her head, "No problem at all. I like helping out my competition on the most kills and I would really hate to see them distracted." With that she turned and started to skip away feeling quite pleased with herself.

A little indifferent about him leaving but noticing this could be a missing opportunity to rise, Bala crossed his arms but nodded in understanding. "Ah...I see....are you sure you can handle the unknown by yourself? I heard it's scary....I know...I've sorta been there....well more like a couple of other towns but...you know what I mean." he said with a smirk watching the guy rubbing his face. "Oh Rorack...just want is going on through that head of yours...looks like you're in a dilemma..."

"I'm sorry you felt that way." Lapis told the girl not letting the insult get to her. Many other's enjoyed her performance and she has earned a lot of money through her performances so one person not liking them didn't phase her. Lapis then turned to Alex. "I'd like to offer my assistance in protection of your sister or whatever else you see fit." She told him, she had been one of her best customers, the performance she did at his party having been one of her favorites so she felt the need to offer help. Plus her mother's blood did run through her and that made the desire even stronger. She knew he may not take her up on her offer because she was a performer but she had trained with Egyptian warriors and her mother and step-father in the ways of using her magic for fighting and how to fight without it.
