Destin blinks at her comment before lifting his head to look at her. He slowly gets to his feet before taking the blade from her gingerly. "No, Fabine would probably...Well he'd just yell at me a bunch." He manages a small smile at her. He wipes his palm on his right hand across his pant leg before holding his hand out to her, half expecting her to try to cut it off. "I'm Destin, Brom healer Extraordinaire. Pleasure to meet your acquaintance."

Aya laughs a little at his greeting, and gently took his hand with the one that wasn't holding his dagger. She gave it a soft shake. "It's a pleasure to meet you Destin! My name is Aya and I'm a Rabin healer." She searches his eyes curiously, as if searching them for any hidden malice. "Wow... I've never been so close to a Brom before. You're a lot less scary than I would have thought." She glances at herself. "Maybe it's a healer thing."

"Aya, what a nice name!" Destin then grins, looking quite relieved. "Oh good! Another healer. Phew, here I was half expecting you to be some sort of archer or something wanting to kill me!" He laughs quietly, before putting his dagger into his pouch. "Trust me, I'm probably the least scary Brom. You're super lucky you ran into me instead of someone else. Seriously if Fabine had seen you..." He shivers.

"Thanks," Aya glances away shyly at his compliment, but is grabbed by his talk of the Broms. "I thought as much! You should see what some of them have done to the Rabins!" She shivers at the sound of Fabine's name, one she'd heard spoken often but had thankfully no face to put it to. She looks over the kind boy before her. "I don't understand. Why are you part of them?" She gasps, eyes widening at a horrible thought. "Th-they're not keeping you prisoner are they?!"

Destin blinks. "What have they done to you Rabins?" He then blinks at her question. He shakes his head vigorously. "Oh! No, no I promise I'm not. I'm part of them because, well..everyone deserves a healer. Even Fabine. I mean, they don't have any healers other than me. If I left or didn't join back when I did...they wouldn't have anyone. Right?" He then nods firmly "They're not all bad. Fabine's by far the worst, and he knows better than to mess with me! I'm too important!" He puffs out his chest.

"Hurt them of course!" Aya sighs, "Everyone's always getting into fights. One of these days it's not going to just be some stitches. Not that anyone ever listens to me about that." At Destin's explanation Aya's eyes light up and at once he seems quite heroic to her. "Wow... Yeah! That's right! I mean, I would never want anyone to die because they didn't have a healer around." She smiles at his optimism, "I'm glad to know that everyone in this forest has someone looking out for them!"

Destin's eyes darken slightly and he shakes his head. "No, Fabine wouldn't actually kill anyone Aya. You don't get it.." He then smiles a bit at her comment, glad she seemed to understand. "Exactly, see you get it! Fabine may not be the best person in the forest, but that's no reason to deny him a healer." He shuffles his feet a bit. "Do you like the Rabins Aya? I don't hear many good things about your side of the forest."

"He wouldn't...?" Aya didn't feel able to judge what Fabine would and wouldn't do, not knowing him at all. Of course she didn't really know Destin either, but he felt earnest enough. "Of course I do!" She casts her thoughts back to the camp for a moment, hoping that everyone was safe and enjoying the sunshine. "Why? What kind of things do you hear about us?"

"That you're weak. That you don't know what you're fighting for." Destin sighs heavily. "And that Sacha killed the last Brom leader for absolutely no reason!" He looks at her gently. "I think that perhaps the Broms get a bad rap, and that it's actually the Rabins doing the wrong things." He then smiles at her warmly. "I'm sure Fabine would let you join the Broms! We're so much better than the Rabins!"

Sacha jumps slightly. She scowls and picks up the knife, turning it in her hand. "Are you trying to make a point Brom? Or do you just have bad aim?" She asks, holding up the knife before tucking it into her bag. "Either way, it makes a nice gift, so thank you for that." She raises her hand in a wave before continuing to stroll along the border, deciding to play games with the Brom.

Paisley snickered at the comment. She didn't have much experience with Sasha but the girl seemed like a hoot. Her eyes narrowed onto Sasha's bow; it would be problematic in a fight. Paisley knew she could disarm her opponent if she could get in close enough, but that was the problem. She had to get in close before Sasha could fire an arrow off. And then there was the problem of the river. The girl rubbed her chin in contemplation and then shrugged. She had never been one to think her battles over but instead liked to go in guns blazing. Paisley made a split second decision and swung down from the branch, landing on the earth with quiet grace. She withdrew a long dagger from her jacket.

Sacha hums quietly as she strolls along the river, finger's twitching now again. She knows that the Brom wouldn't stray too far away, not when she had the dagger, so she was ready to pull out her bow at a moment's notice. She glances down at the leaves splayed around on the ground and she takes note of the wetness on them, knowing that she would be ad a disadvantage if she decided to shift. She pauses a moment, trying to hear if anyone was approaching from behind.

Selena was sat in the camp, resting against her usual tree stump. She'd had sentry duty last night, and was understandably tired now, hence her current position. She opened an eye up to see Sacha leaving the camp, her eyes following the girl for a while, before looking down guiltily.
'Stop it. She's your leader. Show some damned respect,' She mentally berated herself.
She let out a sigh before standing up, stretching a little. Having laid there for ten minutes, she realised her body simply wasn't ready to fall asleep yet. So she might as well do something, even if that something was just check on some of the supplies.

@Fionraella

Evelyn let out a grunt as she finally dragged the deer back into the camp, setting it down in the food pile. She'd managed to keep her fur relatively clean, leaving only some blood around her mouth. She quickly cleaned up before shifting back, heading towards Fabine's tent. Things were going relatively steady between them, which was nice. Well, as steady as things could be when dating an egomaniac like Fabine.
"I'm back," she said as she entered the tent, a smile on her face.

John was sat outside his tent, watching the small fire he had made as it heated up his food. He'd tried his hand at making soup, the resulting mixture bubbling away in a small pot. It had been bubbling like that for twenty minutes.
"Bloody soup," He muttered, "Why did I try to make soup? It always take so damn long to make. No, I couldn't settle for just roasting a pigeon. Fuck's sake."
A few minutes passed, the man still staring at the pot. He let out a sigh, waiting for his meal to be done.

Fabine doesn't look up from where he was sharpening his dagger. "Took you long enough," he snorts, turning the dagger to sharpen the other side. "Did you at least catch something?" He smirks, mainly just trying to get a rise out of her at this point. It'd been almost an entire day since their last argument and he was bored with the contentment. He glances at her momentarily, making note of how far away she was in case a fight did ensue.

Jen scowled, remembering one of the reasons she disliked him.
"I doubt you would have been any quicker. Probably got caught up looking at your own reflection in the river," She snorted at him, taking her hoodie off and laying it down, leaving her in her top, "And for your information, I caught a deer."
She walked over to him, sitting next to him.
"And what have you been up to today? Being lazy as usual? Or is today one of the days that you actually acted like a leader, instead of a hobo who lives in the woods?" She asked.

Paisley basically stalked Sasha for quite a while. She gained on the leader quickly and stepped onto the riverbank. A smirk rested on her lips as she approached Sasha very nonchalantly, dagger in hand. She had successfully shortened the distance, "If I wanted you to be, you would be dead. But alas! I'm not that type of fighter." She shrugged, "You could say I like a fair fight."

Fabine scoffs. "If you actually were in camp being useful you would know what I've been doing." He slowly gets to his feet to face her, crossing his arms across his chest. "A deer huh. How'd you manage that?"

Sacha smirks to herself. "You underestimate me Brom." She says calmly, not turning. "I'm going to give you until I turn around to get back across the river. If I turn and find you still behind me, well, I'm not going to responsible for what happens to you." Sacha counts to three in her head before beginning to turn around.

Paisley remained behind the girl, the smirk widening into a wolfishly grin. Quietly she took multiple step to shorten the distance even more. When Sasha turned and raised her bow to shoot, Paisley would be ready, "I think you underestimate a Brom. You should know that we aren't push overs by now."

"I would hope that you can look after yourself without me watching your every move," She said when he called her out on being out of camp.
Evelyn grit her teeth at being called useless.
"Well, it's almost like I can transform into a polar bear or something. I chased it down, simple," She said, standing up to face him, "You got a problem with me feeding the group? Not useful enough for you?"
She clenched her fist.
"What would you prefer I do instead? Stay in my bed all day like you do?" She asked, daring him to answer.

Sacha pauses, not turning. "So what? You think us Rabins are stupid?" She asks calmly, trying to determine the best course of action. She could tell the girl was too close to use her bow. Sacha smirks, remembering the dagger she had picked up. "You're right." She says after a few moments. "You Broms aren't pushovers." She then turns to face the Brom, lashing out with the dagger.
