Affiliation: His allegiance is a little complicated, in the sense that he doesn't really have one. On a whim, he might choose to change from the Supernaturals to the Scientists, or vice versa.
Appearance: Jason stands at around 5'11", with light blue dyed hair and grey-ish blue eyes. His dress sense is extremely loose - mostly comprised of shirts, jackets and trousers of varying kinds that grant him a kind of freedom in movement. Along with that, he is rarely seen without a pair of headphones or ear-buds either near him or in his ears.
Personality: His personality tends to vary depending on whom he is with - essentially granting him the perfect facade. his real personality is extremely manipulative; easily shaping others to his will, in an almost hypnotic fashion. Except, no one ever sees his true side. Everyone he has ever known simply sees a single side of a shattered mirror that reflects exactly what Jason wants them to see.
History: From a young age, Jason has lived in hell. His family were abusive - cruel, evil - and his surroundings were no better. The area, the town, was simply filled with rapists, drug dealers, low lifes and every manner of evil. He never went to school, never made friends; never had a social interaction besides that which he controlled.
His childhood began with stealing - pickpocketing. Drug dealing. Everything in between. It taught him skills invaluable to someone is his position. Combat, self defence, stealth, free-running; everything. At the age of 9, he had already killed at least 5 dealers who tried to take out their opposition.
The one thing that always struck people as odd, though, was his lack of presence. They could walk right past him in a street with little to no people and not even realise he was there. And, for another, he could perfectly hear almost every noise around them - hear dozens of different conversation at once and never break a sweat.
It was only after being captured for the first time at the age of 12. It didn't take long to break out. It was there, locked in a cell whilst waiting for whatever punishment awaited him, that he discovered his true ability. A guard came for him, and in the struggle that followed, he slapped a wall. On accident, of course. The next thing he remembered was that there was a group of guard outside his cell levelling gun at a boy covered in blood - sat atop the body of a man without a face.
As if he had practised the ability his whole life, Jett clapped. The guards doubled over, clutching their heads, as their eardrums ruptured from the deafening sound. And he left. Bullets shattered and exploded under the immense sound pressure, and men and women fell dead before him.
He doesn't tell anyone what happened in his past, but there are some that know what he has been up to - if few and far between. All that they know is that Jason has been juggling allegiance between the Scientists and the Supernaturals; essentially fighting every front of the battle.
Abilities: Wavelength: Jason can take a sound - any sound - and break it up in his mind into the sounds that make it up. Everything appears visible in his head as a wavelength, and he can focus on the different sounds. (Example, he could pick out a quiet scream from a massive explosion despite being pretty far from the place of origin.)
Reverberation: Echo can change how loud any sound he makes is. If he clicks his fingers, he could change it to the volume of a shogun blast - or as quiet as a vacuum. (Example: muffling the sound of his footprints to inaudible levels.)
Grim Presence: Jason... Does not have a physical presence. He does not emit an aura, does not have anything that could tip someone off to his being there. He could stand in front of you, and if you didn't know before hand that he was there, you probably wouldn't until you stared him in the eyes. (Example: sneaking up on an enemy. They don't realise until they're dead.)
Weakness/weaknesses: For one, his power is rather diverse - but limiting. He can pick out individual sounds from a cacophony of noise, but any extremely loud sound directly near him which he does not expect will completely immobilise him.
Secondly, if you want to get past his ability to amplify sound, just wear some ear plugs.
Other: - Is secretly afraid of flying. Just dont ask.
- Hold sentimental value to a chain he wears around his neck, which has a small black stone dangling from it.
- Can always use a hug.
- Truly, Jason doesn't want to fight. But it's better than turning tail and running. And the Scientists are actually probably cool guys once you get to know them... M-maybe...
