[IC] Gem Stones

seeing the response of the others with two not saying anything and the other finally speaking. He saw a flash of a nightmare flinched back a little thinking it weird to just have shown up from nowhere. he listened to what Gem was saying as he started chowing down. he didn't care how people felt about him. He's a team player and would like to get to know his hopefully future team.

Avary looked at Zo when the flash of recognition of seeing the nightmare come across his face. He looked over to him and pulled up his sleeve, pointed at the stone, at himself, then at Zo. Meaning 'I did that with this stone.'

Avary walked over to Gem. He pulled up his sleeve showing his stone, then pointed to Eve's shoulder, meaning, 'Why does this let me see the thing on her shoulder?'

"Each stone has an ability attached to it. Yours is darkness and nightmares. The dragon must be someone's nightmare. Though I don't see how that is possible but who I am I to judge. Everyone fears something." Gem explained.

Avary nodded to Gem. He then cocked his head, to ask why they chose us. None of us seem to be that special.

Charles would sigh "it doesn't matter much as to why we was chosen anymore" he states as he stands "It is simple fact that we was chosen... what are we suppose to do with these powers?" he asks as he puts his hand into the air palm facing up. "ID Escape" he says and the air would crack then shatter like an invisible wall and everything would return to normal. "to be frank I enjoy my power sense it is something I always wished for, instead of playing games my life is a game now" he states. "and I'd rather not lose it for some idiot reason as well" he says.

Avary looked at the boy inquisitively. He gave him a look, 'Thabks for bringing the food back.' He ten went back to the table and grabbed a burger.

"I can not say why you were chosen only that something about you drew the stone to you. It could be something in your past, something on your personality, a talent or a skill you have. Think about the power you have and uourself. Maybe you can find the link. Personally I don't think the whys matter. What has been done can't be undone. You need to learn how to live with the ability." Gem announced

Eve blinked, only the slightest bit shocked at the food reappearing. Paying no attention to the dragon as it clambered on top of her head, she stared at Gem, not that that helped her comprehend anything. "So what now then?" She asked, "Are you offering to teach us how to use these powers? Can you do that? I assume you didn't summon us here simply to tell us the gem gives us powers, most of them seemed to have that figured out already. So. What are we here for?" Finishing her minor tirade, she shrugged, it seemed to be becoming her favorite visual cue, and reached for some of the food.

"Your here because you need to understand and learn to control the powers you've been give. The power you know about is only the beginning. Plus you need to be here for your protection. There are those in the world who would want kill you or cause you. While you are stronger now but your nor indestructible. " Gem explained.

Charles would sigh "Then I guess we might as well begin immediately" he states "otherwise things are going to pass us buy... my power changed many things for me even with my body..." he states then looks to Gem "What is suppose to be the powers related to the gems? if these been around as long as I'm guessing... the power I have isn't necessarily the one my gem used." he states standing up.

Zo was done stuffing his face and didn't really listen to what everything was said but he acted as if he understood everything. "So when are we gonna get this shit started?"

"We can start whenever everyone is ready. Each of you have a room assigned to you. The rooms have a picture of the gem that you received on it. The rooms are pretty basic. They have a closet, dresser, bed, and a nightstand. Anything else that you want or need will have to be earned. I would suggest taking some time to settle in. The peace and quiet won't last long." Gem explained.

"Alright then, cool! I'll get myself settle now if you're done explaining everything so far."

"You can go to...." Gem was about to dismiss them so they could get settled when alarms went off. He sighed. He had been hoping that he had they would have time to get settled before they were attacked but it looked like that wasn't going to be the case. "I was hoping you would have more time before you had to fight but it looks like I am not the only one who noticed your arrive. Follow me. We don't have time to go to the armory. You will have to fight with your powers."

Zo smiled as he heard the alarm go off. This was his oppotunity to show what he could do. A little action to start off his time here. He cracked his knuckles "My kind of music....lead the way man" he smiled while heading off to take care of whatever followed them to the building. He turned to Eve "Ready to fuck something up?"

Charles raise a brow then nodded as he was ready to go, "Party create Gems" he for some reason says then one by one looking above each person's head saying party invite than their name which he shouldn't know yet, in front of them a little pop up appears asking if they wish to accept the party invite.

Avary accepts the party invite. What is this, a video game? He follows them, time to go see who's going to fight them.

Eve scowled as she heard the alarms, she'd been gunning for a nice snooze after her long day of being holed up on a scrappy bus. Watching Zo, she let the corners of her mouth tug up in a small grin, right up until what Gem said had hit her, they would have to fight with their powers. She didn't know how to fight with a 'not so imaginary friend' …sure it was a dragon, but only just the size of a kitten. It was the sort of thing you 'awwwed' over, not ran away from screaming in fear. Biting her lip she nodded in response to Zo's question, wondering what she could do to fight, but ready to try anyway.

Blinking in surprise at the party invite, she accepted, hoping she didn't just sign her death warrant. Finally in an attempt to calm her racing thoughts, she pulled a pair of almost-elbow-length, deep purple, fingerless gloves out of seperate pockets and tugged them on, cracking her knuckles and grinning, "Lets do this."

Roxy was glad that they had something to do. She didn't want to go to her room. She didn't want to get her hopes up. She had never really belonged anywhere. She doubted that she would belong here. She wasn't going to act like she did. She wasn't going to allow herself to get comfortable. So an attack was perfect. She followed Gem to the front. She saw a dozen dark forms approaching. She wasn't sure what they were until she could see them. Once they were in sight it was clear that they were giant wolves.

Charles seen the wolves and groaned some, they didn't really have weapons, and his power at the current time didn't have any offensive skills or spells so he had to be more careful, he would stand up near the front and stood prepare for a wolf to charge waiting for the perfect moment to leap to the side and concentrates heavily on wanting something that can hurt the wolf when he would Strike it's side trying to hurt it. an alert would pop up 'You have Gained a new Skill' 'Power Strike (active) Mana Cost: 25 Level 1 - Using all of your strength you strike a target with incredible force, Attack power increased by ###%' (letting you decide the % the original did 200% so x3 to current strength).
