So, I think it's pretty much been established (by the fanbase, simultaneously) that the two corrupted gems that Jasper poofed were corrupted Jaspers. I think it's safe to assume that Rose knew them.

Sidenote: Does anybody know what episode Bismuth is appearing?

I don't think it's known for sure, but the common opinion is that her first appearance will be in "Bubbled", as Bismuth is the name of the special, and not the episodes themselves from what I can tell.
