The gunman laid unexpectedly observant eyes on Angela before yelling out. Knowing it would take impeccable aim to hit her with a bullet she could easily dodge, she kept her red beak out, watching. The white tiger shifted into a pretty female with short but voluminous red hair and blood around her mouth. A cheetah Angela hadn't spotted came into view and sat at the scene. The gunman threatened to shoot. The girl and the cheetah tried to negotiate, saying they meant no harm and just wanted to eat.

The boy turned towards James. There was a sort of emptiness in his blue eyes, but not the mournful emptiness James was so familiar with. Interest piqued, he walked up to the boy, hoisting his full guitar case up onto his right shoulder. "Hey, kid. You alright there?"

"You don't understand... When night falls, you won't be hunting prey. You will be the prey. I'm warning you, the only thing that's stopping me from killing you right now is the sun. Leave the forest. Leave the whole city if you can. Nobody is safe while I exist." Roger grimaced, revealing that he had slightly sharper teeth than a usual human. The monster side of him was getting close to completely taking over. "Please, for you own safety, leave." @arca9 @Alisdragon911 @Letmehaveone2

Kaiden decided he had enough trying to reason with him and shifted to his own human form. He would go back to his den no matter what. "I can't just leave, I have a home out here." He turned to the tiger. "Just leave him." With that, he walked away from the man and headed in the direction of his den. He entered it upon arrival. This is my den and he can't force me to leave it. He was still very hungry though. He decided to go towards the very back of the den and lay down.

The man walked to him and asked if he was alright. Honestly, he wasn't sure what to feel considering all the strange things he's been experiencing for as long as he could remember. Alexander shrugged and decided to give his best answer. "I guess."

"I don't have a home, I go where the wind takes me." Mihoshi says as she slinks off to the gravel path to the cemetery. She is thinking we survive once before we will survive again. She reach the back door of her small house and enters the kitchen. She starts cooking some deer, to her it is much more fun stalking a deer then cooking it. She sighs as she be busy later tonight with her job.

Sighing to himself, Roger walked back inside his small wooden cabin. Why did no one listen. He could vividly picture the scene that would come later. A winged beast descending down on them, ripping flesh and breaking bones. Roger, feeling hungry, decided to check his lard. Nothing. He cursed silently to himself, and then headed out to find more food, his shotgun held once again in his hands. Hopefully a deer would be found, but a wild boar would do nicely as well. He wandered for a while, and then a smell penetrated the air. Cooking meat? Roger was confused. He followed the scent until the trees stopped and he came out into a graveyard. A small house stood at one side. It seemed to be where the food smell was coming from. Maybe he could steal whatever they were cooking inside. He wandered up and paced around the house, his feet making loud footsteps on the ground. Finally, he reached a window, he peered inside, only to see the girl from earlier. Kaiden sighed while in his den, he ever wanted a drink again, he would have find river that was closer to where he lived. He slowly got up and walked up to the entrance, but didn't exit. I might have to settle for a small critter for now. He went into his cheetah form once again. He chose to lay in wait for a raccoon or something similar to pass by his home.

Mihoshi heard heavy footsteps and smell the scent of a wild person. She guess the crazy guy found her place, she rather end up with the cheetah sniffing her out. "You are a bit loud to steal my meal," she sighs as she takes a bite of deer meat. She should have know better than to cook something as she did not know what will attractive any creature who is hungry. She guess she could save some deer for the guy even though he kicked her out of the forest.

"Why the hell are you still here?" Roger asked, angrily. "I told you to leave the forest, for your own damn safety! You think I'm crazy, don't you? I'm trying to keep you alive! When the Winged Death enters the forest, you and that werecheetah will be the first ones dead"

As the cheetah-turned-human and the tiger-turned-human left, Angela decided it would be best to leave too. With her back against the tree, she squeezed her eyes shut and meditated intensely, morphing into her human self. She was worked up, and too excited to go home now. She decided she'd go to the city and find a party to crash. She had so much to talk about. She turned around and started walking out of the forest.

The boy gave an overly-simple answer. James looked into his eyes, itching to probe him but knowing to respect his privacy. He wanted badly to know what used to be in the place of the emptiness, an artistic desire to tap into the doom and gloom of the world. "What's your name?"

He looked at James and just said, "Alexander." He couldn't remember the last time he'd been around others, but still listened to whatever this man was gonna say next.

The she-wolf looked at the girl, wondering why the female smelled like felines, though as she looked at her flatly she noticed the other girl check her out. She raised an eyebrow in intrigue before her lips curled at the side in a half smirk. "Thalia." She said her name casually, waiting for the male to respond to them. He seemed lost in his thoughts, letting his dog do the talking for him. Remarkably, the dog was slightly more intelligent than the average domesticated mutt; perhaps the owner was as well.

Joey listened as Thalia introduced herself and then decided to give his own name. "Joey." He then pointed to his dog. "and this is Ash." He then look back at the other girl who seemed to be lost in thought. Deciding not to question it, he turned his attention to Thalia for now.

Aila shook her head pulling out of her own mind. "It is nice to meet you Thalia" She said. Taking a deep breath and stopped breathing for a few seconds. She smelt more then one canine scent in the air. She looked in between Joey and Thalia. If I can smell them, they can smell me too She thought to herself. She got a bit nervous and took another deep breath. I am a snow leopard and not just a normal feline. I am a predator as well. She straightened up a bit. She looked over at Joey again, "Do you ever like to go to a night club Joey?" She just blurted out. She didn't mean to ask that but she would like to see him again and she would have to be getting to work soon. "That question goes to you too Thalia" She add trying to seem a little less weird.

James knew the emptiness of eyes that had seen something terrible, eyes that had lost someone close, eyes under the influence of drugs... but here he was, staring into eyes that were atypically empty. "Alexander. I'm James. I don't know what you've been through, but you're still alive, you can still make things better. You can't make things better once you're dead." With that, he turned around and walked away, guitar case swaying as if to wave goodbye.

"When the mood strikes me." The girl shrugged, smelling the hint of fear in the girls scent, well aware that she must have figured out who she was by now. Thalia herself didn't often venture this far into town, since she lived in a cabin not far from the woods. "I'd go more often, there's just never any suitable company." She threw a side-long glance at Joey. Deciding to get a little playful she nudged the man gently with her elbow, giving him a coy look. "Maybe we should go sometime."

Joey looked at Aila as she asked if he ever went to a night club. "Not really." He then turned to Thalia who elbowed him and smiled. "Yeah, sounds great." He knew he would have to check his calendar when he got home though. That way, he could see when the best time to go would be.

Alexander listened to him for a bit before watching James walk off. He turned around to continue his walk while thinking about what the man had said.

"You are acting crazy but your words make scenes. No offense, you don't know how to control your were self and fear it. You discard everything that makes you human." Mihoshi says as she hands him some deer meat through the window. She is thinking what would happen if this guy ended up with the wrong person. Her dad told her not everyone is a good person were nor human.

Roger took the deer meat out of the window. "You say I don't know how to control my were self. I used to be able to. Everyone can at first. But it consumes you after a while. By 100 years it's a little spiky, by 200 years it's more apparent, by 300 years it can take over any time you want, and when you are 400 years it has a hold on you. A hold which you cannot control at all." @Alisdragon911

Deciding he was safe for now, Kaiden padded out of his den as he was still in cheetah form. He didn't wander too far though and finally seemed catch scent of a raccoon and stood very still until it came into his sight. He put a paw on the little creature, his claws digging into the skin as the raccoon struggled a little before going limp. Kaiden removed his paw and picked up the critter before heading back into his den. He went as far back as he could before dropping the raccoon in front of him. He layed down to eat it with his back to the entrance of the den. Since the raccoon was a tiny thing, it didn't take Kaiden long to finish eating it. Let's hope that'll hold me off for a bit.
