They have some technology that can suppress some of the half breeds powers, that is why they take half breeds and do tests on them. It's so they can develop new tech, as half-breeds powers vary widely.

Well Sonya has a tazer that uses electricity and radio waves that disrupt a half-breeds powers, though if used on a human it would cause extreme pain or death.
Bullets dipped into holy water can weaken a half-breed demons powers if the shots where not meant to kill. Also bullets dipped in demon blood will do the same thing to angel half-breed's.

Basically I am giving you guys free rein to make stuff up. (World building) :)

Subject’s past is unknown. Her first appearance on our radar was the initial incident two years ago, when she was found in the center of a large explosion. Agents pursued her across the globe for nearly six months before successfully capturing her. During interrogation, Subject claimed to have no memory prior to that incident, and also expressed a need to “find someone”, though she didn’t seem to know the identity of the person she was looking for. She seemed to believe that she would recognize them when she found them, and that it was very important she do so. Her actual identity is also unknown; “Tamara” was the name of one of the agents interrogating her, and she subsequently adopted it.

Due to the nature of the Subject’s power, she has been deemed too hazardous to experiment upon until a more effective means of suppressing her powers can be found, or more durable protective gear can be made. Because of the potential for collateral damage, the Subject was placed in isolated containment. She has remained there ever since, a fact that she is extremely resentful of.

Notice that We have more half-Demons than half-angels, I think I might consider playing a half angel, Is biological "mating" the only way a half angel can be created? I was thinking of being born in a lab full of occultists and scientists who altered a human embryo with angelic song or something like that.

That seems interesting, though it would have to be the Axis that did the experiment..... they try to keep a hold on anything that deals with that kind of science.
I do like the concept of it though. It would mean that both angel half-breed's have been raised by the Axis.

About how old is the axis? Is it possible that the experiment pre-dates, or was at the very early period of axis's existence, perhaps the research project eventually became envoloped within Axis. I was actually thinking that the character is an Axis sympathizer, not necessarily with the culling of the hybrids, but with the other things they have done.

The Axis is very old, bordering on ancient. the experiment could take place near the early days of the Axis.

Though mind you, half-breeds can die of old age but the exact age varies.

It takes place in modern times (so roughly around now), though the Axis has technology that is ahead of what we currently have.

No one knows who's blood it is and it's not toxic. Also half-breeds will notice, something "blocking" their senses.

They can't really sense it and all they can see is figures, but no definite form. It is powerful, most likely more powerful than our characters.
What it's powers are exactly, well that's where world building comes in :)

In other words, how would it affect Tamara's thermal vision?
