Fantasia Heirloom

Estoria City, Pokemon Lab

@AbysmalDemon

Charlie lectured Fantasia for a moment before storming off, shoving past the crowd with his white Belum floating shortly behind him. She rolled her eyes, pulling out a frilly folding hand-fan, fanning her eyes to get them to water. Fantasia had a feeling he wasn’t going to help her willingly, so she’d have to create a scene. She waited a moment before creating the most overly-dramatic display of tears to gain the attention of Professor Cedar. She clicked her heels over to the busy Professor whom was very confused by the theatrical display of agony.

“Professor!” She cried out, fanning herself with every step. “Oh, Professor Cedar he was awful!”

“Hmm?” Professor Cedar turned toward her, “Who? Slow down Fantasia, what happened?”

“Mrs. Cedar... -May I call you that?” Fantasia took a moment to gather her thoughts, “Oh, he was simply awful to me Mrs. Cedar! He told me that my Budew was simply a ‘receipt’ bought with my father’s money, look at how upset he made my sweet little rose bud!” She pulled Budew out of her purse, showing the shaken up Pokemon to the Professor - when in all actuality Budew was more upset about the spooky Pokedex that seemingly floated away what seemed like only minutes ago. “Of course, after his rude comments I showed him my Pokedex, and to my surprise now it is missing! He was the only person I showed Mrs. Cedar, I don’t think it is coincidence, he wouldn’t even help me look!” Fantasia brought her hand to her head in a dramatic effort, pretending as if she were completely mortified by the whole ordeal. “He just took off running out that door with a floating white rock, it would be a shame if my father were to hear about this theft - wouldn’t it? If he didn't take it, all I ask is that you'd help me recover this item. Please, Mrs. Cedar.”

~Lucile Geroux, Pokemon Sanctuary~

@LokiLeo789 - Shush's Ray

Lucy moved quietly through the sanctuary, looking for any hints of that Purrloin she wanted so desperately. She could just imagine herself now, lounging around with the adorable thing napping next to her with her petting the cats soft fur. Really, she wished the universe would hurry up and give her what she wanted. She didn't really want to put more effort into this than was needed, and at the moment it was proving rather troublesome and annoying. She wasn't exactly one to like doing difficult things. She liked her instant gratification, after all.

Of course, it was possible they were all being scared off by the other trainers. She turned her head towards the sound of someone running towards her. She of course, seemed totally unfazed by the guy despite him running at her with speed of a pervert fleeing the scene of the crime. She knew what that looked like, as she was admittedly a bit of a pervert who fled the scene of many crimes. Still, he was making a lot of noise. Which meant he was making finding her perfect little Purrloin that much more difficult. So when he finally stopped in front of her and caught her breath, she knew the perfect way to have a bit of fun with him and possibly get him to shut up.

She walked close, barely an inch between their lips before she placed a single finger on his and with the most deadpan expression, spoke.

"Shhh. Some of us haven't found our pokemon yet." After staring rather intently at him for a few moments with the same deadpan expression, Lucy removed the finger, before giving him an actual answer to his question.

"Nope. Sorry, wasn't really paying attention." She said with a shrug, taking a lighter demeanor. "To find the rarer pokemon, you have to end up getting lost after all." It was sort of a true statement, at least. A lot more rare pokemon were likely to be found off the beaten path. "So I guess that means, If I were to do something to you, no one would know!~" A somewhat suggestive smirk formed on her lips as she gave him a wink. "You're lucky I'm more interested in finding me a darling little Purrloin than playing with you, though." She continued, completely ignoring any rebuttal he might have towards the comment.

A flash of purple fur caught Lucy's attention...it slammed against her bag and she immediately knew what had just happened. Purrloin were notorious thieves after all.

"And speaking of Purrloin...try not to ruin this for me, darling or I might just end up playing with you after all~" She giggled, and turned to the ball of soft purple fur peering at them from the edge of the bushes. In its mouth...one of the few Pecha berries she had taken with her here. Ignoring Ray, she approached the cat pokemon slowly. The Purrloin had stopped moving a few feet away, giving her a mischievous look as she stopped a few feet away.

"Aren't you just a beautiful thing." She said to the Purrloin, holding out a hand towards the cat, hoping it would come a bit closer for her to be able to pet it. For a moments, the cat seemed somewhat confused at being approached, however it quickly decided Lucy didn't mean any harm...plus, free pets. So the purple furred cat walked over to Lucy's hand, and she promptly started scratching its ears.

"Aaaah, aren't you just precious~" She picked up the cat, seeming to completely forget about Ray for a few moments as she discreetly pulled a pokeball out of her bag. "I think, I shall name you...Laira." Without warning, she pressed the pokeball against the Purrloin's head, who quickly realized she had just been duped with the promise of free pets and another possible berry. Unfortunately, try as the cat might have it wasn't able to free itself. Walking over she picked up the Pecha berry it stole, releasing her new pokemon from its pokeball.

"No sense in keeping you locked up in there, dear. Now, lets see if we can find our way out of here, hmm?" That sentence was directed towards Ray. Laira, didn't seem to mind so much at suddenly becoming a pokemon, and was content to stay near Lucy's legs, staring up at Ray.

~Lynnette Crawford, Pokemon Sanctuary~

@Savo - You really are an idiot, Alex~

And suddenly I see that I can't break free--I'm Slipping through the cracks of a dark eternity With nothing but my pain and the paralyzing agony...

Suddenly, the girls singing was stopped as something tugged rather sharply on her head, though it definitely wasn't because of her singing. She liked to thing she had a lovely voice after all. Khata agreed as well, on most occasions. So why had the Yamask got her attention? She turned her head into the direction of a certain individual that she was...acquainted with. Her grin wavered for a moment as a brief anger filled her when she laid eyes upon him.

Alex.

"My, Khata...lets go see what our old friend is up to...hmm?~" She giggled, giving an unsettling, tooth grin to no one in particular. It seemed he had lost her, which meant it would have been more than easy to pull off a little trickery. Disappearing further into the sanctuary, she silently followed after Alex. Quiet as a ghost, some might say. Eventually after letting him wander for some time, she decided it was time to make her presence known. The fun thing about Khata, her Yamask? Well, its golden mask looked eerily similar to her own face, a fact that was not lost on her or Alex. In fact, Alex would likely get more than a little frightened by it.

So she pulled the golden mask down over her own face, wearing the pokemon like a mask. She approached Alex silently from behind...and poked him on the shoulder.

"Looking for me, Alex?~" She giggled. "You really should give up on old ghost stories, you know. That's only going to end in tragedy for you~"

Hotaru smiled as Rylen said yes to her offer. She stood up straight and nodded. She then looked to the Larvitar and then back up to him. "Have you registered yet? You should probably get the attention of one of the officials. They will have all you need. Pokeballs, potions, and a pokedex as well." She said. She then looked over to Zed as he took the final toss of the sandwich into his mouth. Something got his attention and when she traced his gaze she could see the same two people having yet another conversation. Once more it was not going well. The boy ended up charging off in a bit of a annoyance as the much more fancier dressed girl began to look like a cherry. She sighed and was curious as to what had happened between them. She felt perhaps it was best to not get involved.

She felt her stomach began to react to the fact all she had was a slice of toast for breakfast. She looked back to her new friend. "Let's get you registered Rylen,... and then we can go find something to eat. I didn't eat much for breakfast." She said. She quickly began to direct him towards one of the lab assistants. "Just show him your trainer card and he will do the rest. It's easy as pie." She wondered if they were going to by chance get anymore friends to go with them. That would be nice if they were joined by at least one more person. She would feel much safer with added protection. Besides father told her to make a lot of friends and that was what she aimed to do. Well except friends with that one lady. She seemed rather angry at anyone.

Rylen | Pokemon Lab

@EWillden

"Huh? Register?", his mind blanked for just a few moments, and then it dawned on him. He hadn't registered yet, and he was so excited getting his trainer card just a few days back too. The entire thought process could be shown on his face.

"Oh... Well, that slipped my mind haha, thanks for reminding me, yeah let's go, then some food. It should be almost lunch time too", he responded. He was suddenly back to his smiling self, he certainly recovered quickly. He noticed there was a bit of a commotion in the background, he wanted to see what was up, but as he and Hotaru walked past towards the place to get registered, he overheard it a bit...

"Pokedex...? Huh...", maybe he should keep an eye out for it, especially if there may be a thief nearby. She suspected the boy earlier, and so did Rylen... Because he didn't give it much thought, his Larvitar seemed to be much sharper than he was in these situations it seems as it didn't look convinced. Still, probably get this done first... Hotaru brought him over to a lab assistant and as she said would happen, he showed his trainer card to him and in a few moments he was deemed registered, and given some necessary equipment.

"Well, now that that's done. Should we get something to eat? If there's a thief afoot, maybe we should hunt him down too. Just not right taking someone else's things you know?", was strange to suggest head hunting and lunch all at once, but that's what he just did.

Deneb Astrologian

@AbysmalDemon@Whimsicott

Deneb continued to run away from the swing-happy Maractus that seemed to have taken a liking to him...or at least that's the closest description he could come to in the situation. Maractus seemed happy enough, what with the Pokemon laughing the entire time it's been chasing him. At this point, Deneb didn't even know how long he had been running. His legs were strong from traversing the sands, so he wasn't quite tired, but the longer this went on, the further away from his goal he'd wander.

Suddenly, the sounds of shaking maracas, and almost maniacal laughter stopped. Noticing this, Deneb slowed to a halt, and turned around. What he saw was a somewhat familiar sight. A Pokemon, in this case Maractus, had stopped to the delicious smell of Casteliacones. Apparently someone had come and set up shop here.

Maractus had a look of hunger and awe on her face. The sweet, mouthwatering scent drew her in like a Venomoth to a Charmelion's tail-flame. The only problem was that there was no way she could get it without getting in trouble. She could beat the vendor into submission, but they probably had a plan for that, and even if they didn't, the humans weren't so keen on Pokemon attacking their kind. She could steal it, but they weren't so keen on that either. There had to be some way to get that treat.

Then, something happened. Something that an outside point of view could see coming from a mile away. Deneb bought a Casteliacone for Maractus. When he offered it to the Pokemon, she accepted without hesitation.

- Alexander Furst : Dead or Alive -

As the duo continued searching for Lynn, though the little Gastly was a little nervous. Whether that attribute was because of Alex not being as benign as he was previously or the forest now filling up with a few kids and teenagers. Alex began grumbling as he continued moving through the foliage, though he couldn't get the strange sense that he was feeling watched off of him. The noise the others made didn't exactly help him detect the said source, or if he was just being paranoid about it all.

"Hey check out what I caught bet it's a lot better than your Rattata!"

"Nuh uh, no way! I bet my Rattata is in the top percentage of Rattata! So it trumps your Spinrak!"

"Imbeciles," he growled, rolling his eyes as he passed the two excited 'children' who dashed to show off their new allies to their peers. Slouching over, he sighed, the area becoming slightly a bit louder as he came to a complete halt. The Gastly didn't expect this and ran right into Alex' winter white hair, becoming startled. Noticing this, he frowned and looked at the ground, somewhat embarrassed.

"Erm, sorry about that Henry," he mumbled, rubbing the back of his hand as the Gastly floated to the front of him and gave the boy a reassuring smile. Noticing this, he smiled back, giving an affirmative nod before continuing the quest to find a possible illusion. Passing by another trainer who was bemoaning at his loss of catching a Joltik versus a Scyther or Pinsir, he could only furrow his eye brows and give a dismissive frown to the person as he uttered a stock phrase.

"Good grief..."

The uneasiness of having incomplete control of the situation was somewhat jarring, but he couldn't exactly afford to lose himself... nor lose track of the time... speaking of which.

"... crap, The Sanctuary is only opened for a set amount of time!" Looking for the way out, Alex knew he had to escape this forest scene to see how many minutes were remaining as he quickly analyzed the way out... which took not too long thankfully.

What he didn't notice was his Gastly curiously bobbing to the side, as if he had found the mysterious person they were pursuing. "Gasssss," it murmured, its movements slowing as it got closer and closer to what it though was the source. Of course, when he thought he had said people pinpointed, it phased through the trunk. Henry patiently bid his time, before bursting out, tongue in full view.

... yet there was no one there.

Alex noticed his partner had... departed from view. While he didn't look too affected, he began searching behind every tree within three to ten feet of him before discovering Henry was circling over a certain area, confused as it began to hang around upside down. "... you ok," he said flatly, catching the attention of Gastly who turned to see Alex' neutral visage. Alex took note of the nod and the down trodden look. Defeated but not beaten back, he beckoned his Gastly to come along.

"No need to get so beat up, I'm sure we'll find her," he spoke, stating it in a rather cold manner. Henry got the gist and forced a wider smile as the duo began nearing the entrance. Both of them began getting closer and closer together. Alex' movements had been slowed down to a simple trudge as he felt a burning sensation behind his hair.

It was if the person he felt watching him was suddenly breathing down his neck. Henry froze as he rotated to be caught off guard by the expression, but not at all jarred by what he saw. Alex deciphered the look on his face, but alas, he was too late. Before he could catch the stalker, he felt something tap his shoulder before hearing a smooth, yet familiarly adorable voice.

Alex' eyes widened, his pupils dilated for a moment. His throat became dry and there were no words that could come out. His shoulders became tense as he began his slow 180. This was definitely not an illusion, it-

...

...

...

Ok, what the hell. Alex came face to face with a familiar golden face as he looked down at the shorter girl. The teen didn't want to move or rather, he couldn't move. Every single part of his torso down to his feet was completely immobile. It felt like his legs were jello along with the possibility of the floor caving under, swallowing the giant whole. It felt like a nightmare become true again as familiar thoughts flooded his head as he managed to hold back a flurry of tears and breakdown completely due to being in public.

But still, just looking at the mask.

Looking at the face.

Looking at his best friend...

... it hurt.

Henry seemed worried as he circled around to the front of the boy and began tapping his forehead with his gaseous body, making sure not to engulf Alex' head whole. Suddenly his bodily functions began returning to him and his pale face was returning to the regular creamy color it usually was. His fingers were the first to move as they all kept in sync like a Spinrak. His unblinking eyes began to move again as his lips trembled for a few moments.

Alex heard the rest of her statement as he frowned, composing himself as he readjusted his long coats collar; he has an icy glare that could easily pierce the mask if it could, but just stood there, now solid as a Machamps frame. There was silence between the two... before Alex completely ruined it.

"... if I wanted to, I would of let those stories go when I left Unova," he grumbled as he leered at the girl, almost trying to discover her intentions. Henry held his tongue out, almost ready to lick the mask as he nervously kept his distance. He may of been timid, but he was not adverse to fighting back.

Huffing, he continued talking, his voice becoming a little harsher. "It's been a long time... though I am curious..." Alex closed the distance somewhat as he got even closer.

"Lynn... why are you here?" He wasn't snarking off, he wasn't being rude to get a point across, he was being completely earnest with wanting said reason. There's no way something this random could occur... though he wasn't complaining.

... then again, she did have a peculiar way of dancing around the point, which in no turn would agitate him to no end...

Rolf Bannian

Whistling an old sea dog tune, Rolf stopped a few feet away from the professors. It looked like the same up dressed girl was angry about... something, and in general, he was too embarassed to walk up to the professors in his soaking wet attire. He'd never get any credibility if anyone important found out he was molested by a group of tiny poliwag! He was missing a shoe, his arms were tinged red from being slapped, and mud was caked around his pants and hands. He looked like something that had crawled straight oUT of the Castelia Sewers, like a messy muk or a mangy ratata. Thinking of the city gave his stomach a squeeze.he couldn't help but worry that the entire situation was just highly unusual. His boat goes missing and he happens to wash up in a town having what is pretty much a pokemon giveaway?

The soaked young man stopped immediately in front of a strange little kiosk. There was a long line, and there was a sign that held the motif of an ice cream shaped pokemon. Vanillite! But... wasn't he in the Fordis region, not Unova? Intrigued, or perhaps a little downtrodden, Rolf walked over and stood in line, still dripping though he had walked a few blocks from the sanctuary. The golden-eyed sailor noticed that some of the people in line had pokemon with them and looked to be teenagers. Maybe they had just come from the sanctuary as well. Realizing that he had a pokeball containing a buizel still, Rolf pulled it out, and tried to release it by pressing the button.

No, that didn't do anything... the button was to recall the damn thing. How did he call it out? All those trainers made it look so easy. Wait. He was a trainer now! That meant that he couldn't blatantly ignore other trainers when they challenged him to a battle! He even had a trainer card with his name on it, as well a picture he was grateful was only shoulders-up. Otherwise, it would be a lot less exciting to carry around.

The line was moving pretty quickly, aND before he knew it, Rolf was at the beginning of the line. He walked with a little bit of a limp, because he was only wearing a single shoe and thus didn't stand level. He took the opportunity to simulate what he had always seen, and tossed the pokeball at the ground. It worked, to an extent. The pokeball opened and the buizel popped out, not looking too happy about being trapped in the ball without even getting to know it's trainer. But they both had a bigger issue. The metal ball ricocheted off the sidewalk and hit the vendor flat in the eye, causing her to curse aloud. The ball landed on top of the glass sneeze guard that held the cones, and Rolf quickly picked it up and put it in his pocket. "One, please."

The vendor rubbed her eye, but grumbled and made him a cone. He watched her closely, wary she would spit into it. "That'll be 300, sir." He froze, knowing that he didn't have any money.
"I'm sorry, I don't have that much-"
"Than get out of my line, wet Willie!" She cried aloud, tossing the cone at him and hitting him square in the eye, but not before she spat into it. Rof quickly shook it off of his face, and knelt down to pick up his buizel so they could go somewhere else, hopefully somewhere hot where he could dry up. If anything, the sailor expected his pokemon to lick the ice cream off his face, but the sea weasel instead flew out of his hands, over the counter. Almost as if he had thrown him. The purple haired young man could only watch dumbfounded as the free spirited pokemon splashed around in the tubs of ice cream. When the vendor shouted, the buizel stood back up on the counter- and spun its tails, splattering her in a flurry of ice cream.

"HEY, THAT BOY USED HIS POKEMON TO DESTROY THE ICE CREAM!"

"What? That's not at all what... happened." Slowly, Rolf rose a palm to his face. That... was glaringly correct. But he'd be damned if he was going to jail in a foreign country for public discrepancy and theft! But all he could think of while feeling the heat of other trainers' glares -those that were behind him in line anyways- was that a good name for his pokemon would be Pinwheel.

Ace Walker

Estoria City, Sanctuary

Work was never fun for Ace, but it had it’s moments. He never asked to be a con man, but throughout the course of his life it had been one of the only things he was good at. He patted his shoulder with a whistle, triggering Zorua to hop at the precise spot Ace had commanded. Ace turned around, walking into a less populated area of the Sanctuary, pulling out the Leaf Stone encrusted Pokedex to get a closer examination.

“You think it's real bud?” Ace shot a sly look at his Zorua whom was nuzzling Ace’s head in delight. “You did good, just keep a sharp lookout for the rent-a-cop security this place is bound to have. Her highness surely has alerted the staff by now, we have to make a clean getaway.”

Zorua hopped back into Ace’s coat, only his eyes and blue fluff peeking out the top - scanning the left side of the room while Ace scanned the right. As the two inched toward the exit, Zorua noted a security guard walking toward Ace.

“Ruff! Ruff!” Zorua barked up at his owner, who kept a calm and collected poker-face as the guard drew closer.

“Hey you, stop right there!” The guard demanded, walking toward the two as they made their way out of the sliding glass doors and down the marble steps, making the guards anxious walk into a sprint as he tried to apprehend the mysterious fellow in the trenchcoat.

Zorua looked up with trusting eyes at Ace, whom returned the look with a wordless nod and a sly grimace. Zorua got excited, the Pokemon loved to use it’s illusion to trick people. Zorua slid down and out from the backside of Ace's trench coat as his trainer continued to walk, barking at the security guard with intent to distract him. The guard curiously approached the oddly colored Pokemon, shooting a confused head scratch at it.

“Subject on the move, abandoning a Pokemon along the way.” The officer spoke into the radio strapped to his shoulder, “I am going to need backup on the corner of-”

Suddenly, as the man picked up the Zorua it transformed into a massive Red Gyarados. The security guard screamed loudly, dropping Zorua on the floor and alerting the bystanders along the streets causing a panic. He chased around the security officer, tormenting him with a snicker waiting for Ace's signal.

Boom. Crash. Shouting.

In the hysteria, Ace rolled a smoke bomb at the transformed Zorua’s feet and called him back into his Pokeball as the smoke dissipated; running sharply into an alleyway undetected, leaving the security guard and the panicking mob of people wondering what in the world had just happened.

“Works every time!” Ace laughed, calling out Zorua as they walked down the alleyway and out toward the next street over, “Did you see his face when he picked you up! Priceless!”

The pair walked a short distance, Zorua darting around and trotting in a prideful manor when suddenly he spotted something. A Casteliacone, which Ace could only assume was here on behalf of the event. The Vanillite on the billboard made Zorua wag his tail in delight.

“Ruff! Ruff!” Zorua hopped into Ace’s arms, giving him what just might be the best puppy-dog eyes in the galaxy. "Ha! You greedy little pooch! Bah, we’ll share one - C'mon!" He ruffled Zorua’s blue fluff as Zorua licked his chin, tucking him comfortably back in his jacket as he walked toward the Casteliacone truck.

She looked to the woman again who had apparently lost a very expensive pokedex. Must be one of those customized ones that were limited edition. You had to be rich just to get one. This lady must have a lot of money. Rylen's suggestion of even helping out on their way to find lunch wasn't too bad of a suggestion. Perhaps the angry lady would stop being angry and might even be nice enough to join them on their journey. Perhaps that was wishful thinking and perhaps it didn't matter. The lady could always be angry and rude to those with less money then her. Rich types were always like that. Her and her father were not all that well off. His paycheck as a scientist was just enough to get them by and give her some what of a allowance. It wasn't much but she didn't complain. It was the thought that mattered. Although the idea of hunting down a thief was kind of exciting. "Good idea Rylen,... this will be so awesome. Here we are just beginning and we are already hunting for bad guys." She replied. Then she was interrupted by the growl of her stomach. Her face went from excitement to embarrassment. She moved a hand to her stomach and rubbed it. Zed turned his way towards her and gave a little chuckle. She then pulled forth what she had for money. It was only 300P which meant she couldn't really do much to help in the food department. Well she could supply herself but not Rylen. She looked to him and sighed. "You got money right?.." she asked as she decided to get them moving towards the exit. They weren't going anywhere just standing there.

Zed did recall what Rylen said about the pokedex and while Hotaru was preoccupied with food on the mind. He decided he would keep and eye out for any thieves. I mean the person can still be here and the angry woman might not become the only victim. Not that Hotaru had anything really of value it didn't hurt to be a little cautious. Then again the thief could be one of those steal from the rich type of thing. To teach the old little lesson that what comes around comes around. Treat others like they are below you and you get robbed by the very people you thought were so beneath you. Hotaru managed to stand up straight again. She sighed at her embarrassment and decided to bring a subject up that would be better suited. Who knows maybe Rylen knows a few places that might be affordable or a vendor.

"So, what are you chasing after? Like a dream I mean. I want to become a pokemon watcher and sketch or take pictures of some of the rarest pokemon. As well as possibly sketch a few others that I might fancy." She said.

Rylen | Pokémon Lab

@EWillden

"Oh yeah. I was given a little bit to get me going, but it's only enough for things like food", he began, he opened up his wallet and peered into it. There really wasn't that much there, but it was enough for a couple meals and some supplies. As he was deciding what he should buy for supplies on his meagre allowance, Hotaru posed to him a question.

"Hmmmmm... I never really thought about a goal... But, I think if I get strong enough, I can protect others, like the dragon masters Lance and Clair. I guess in the end the strongest guy is Champion right? So I guess I want to be Champion", being Champion was a big deal and he spoke of it like it was just another job, but he was quite honest with what he wanted, or wanted to do. There was a moment where he was in thought about it before he remembered what Hotaru had said hers was,

"But like an artist right? But for Pokémon? I think that's kind of neat, I guess that answers why you carry that sketch book everywhere. So... Where should we get lunch around here? I only moved in like a week back so I'm actually still new here", he commented.

Ray Stylo

@Rune_Alchemist

Now, as a guy in this situation, one's first instinct would be to back away quickly. That would have been the normal thing to do. Unfortunately, Ray wasn't exactly normal. Usually, if a guy had come this close to him, he would have uppercut the living shit out the man. Even if it was woman, he would have given her the 'ol fist to chin, if she had pulled a gun on him or something. No, in this situation, Ray thought it best to go with the flow, and take the kiss that was being offered to him. That was what was going on right? Without hesitation, Ray puckered his his lips and drew himself closer.

My first kiss!

Wait till the guys back home hear about this!

Unfortunately, just as Ray expected to feel the pleasure of some lip on lip action, he found himself blocked by Lucile's finger. Wha-. Instantly, Ray leaned back and stood straight, sheepishly attempting to play what just happened off. She hadn't noticed had she? Did that count as a kiss though? It had to. It was close enough. His first day as a trainer and he was already pulling the ladies. What crazy adventures would await him if this was just day one!?

Ray lost himself in thought, opting to live in his imagination instead of reality while Lucile went along bagging her Pokemon. He did hear her say a few things while in his dream like state, like playing with him. Ray didn't exactly know what that meant, but he was pretty sure she was threatening to either rape him, or eat him. Now, Ray wasn't against the latter per-say, as long as she wasn't into any freaky shit. But eating him, yeah that wasn't going to happen, not on his watch.

As Lucy went about capturing a Purrloin, who she duped, Ray glanced at Muay, who gave him a knowing look. "Come of it, be glad I didn't stuff you in a Poke Ball when we met." he whispered harshly. Muay simply turned away, apparently signaling that it was done with the conversation. Ray fumed for a few seconds, before turning to Lucy.

Mentally, he took to praying, hoping that her first inclination wouldn't be to eat him. "So you don't know the way out?" he huffed after analyzing her words. Ray raked his green hair back, he couldn't he lost in here, he was a worldly guy, who enjoyed the sun, outside metal walls.

Exasperated, Ray chose to take the next logical step . . . well, the step after that. The first would be to run. "Well, my name is Ray. he began, still turning his head back and forth, searching for a familiar sight. Coming to a stop, he gestured at Muay. "And this is my new partner, Muay." Muay affirmed his statement with a simple, arf!

Turning back to Lucy. "So are you always this touchy-feely when you meet someone new? he jibbed, opting to follow her.

~Lucile Geroux, Pokemon Sanctuary~

@LokiLeo789

"Lucy Geroux, love." She replied with a calm, friendly demeanor. "And this darling little Purrloin, is Laira if you didn't hear that." The Purrloin in question meowed cutely as it looked up at Ray. The silver haired girl reached into her pocket, pulling out a pecha berry and handing it to the cat pokemon who began to play with it. "And to answer your question..." She took a quick look around, laying her eyes on another trainer who had the misfortune of walking by the two of them, heading deeper into the sanctuary, likely trying to find a pokemon of her own.

Lucy walked over to the unknown trainer, tapping her on the shoulder just to get her to turn around.

Before planting a kiss right on her lips. It lasted only a few seconds, with the unknown trainer briefly recoiling in surprise, but couldn't bring herself to break away from her. After she was done, she walked away, giving the unknown trainer a pat on the head as they struggled for breath, muttering something about 'such technique' as Lucy walked back over to Ray.

"Does that answer your question? If not, I can happily demonstrate again~" She mused, a smirk forming on her lips. "Or would you rather...experience it for yourself? Or would you rather go all the way, hmm?~" Judging from her tone, that wasn't just an empty teasing offer, either.

~Lynnette Crawford, Pokemon Sanctuary~

@Savo - Do I need to repeat myself?

"Oh my, I'd say you were stunned from my beauty. Does little Alex have a crush on me, I wonder? Head over heels maybe! Hehe, that's funny! Falling in love with someone you think is a ghost. How adorable. Perverted, but adorable, aren't you, little Alex?" The girl dressed in black teased, ignoring Alex's question about what she was doing here. Indeed, it seemed she wasn't going to answer it. At least, not easily or in the manner he was expected. "Wouldn't you agree, Khata?"

Upon hearing her name, the golden mask lifted off her face, two shadowy black arms forming from behind it as the Yamask made its presence known. It simply stared at Alex and Henry with an impish gleam, the same as its master was giving him. Lynn simply looked at Alex with a haughty smirk, eyeing him with obvious disapproval.

"More importantly, I wonder if that's you're entire reason for being here? Really, chasing after ghosts all the way from Unova! What a silly little detestable idiot you are." Her voice carried no small hint of arrogance and disapproval in it, and judging from her smirk she meant every single word she was saying. "Then again, maybe you do have another reason for being here? Maybe you just ran off here to try and run from your problems? Wouldn't be surprising." She giggled harshly.

She completely ignored his question for now it seemed, instead of turning this into her own questioning session of why he was here.

Charlie Cedar

Casteliacone Vendor

@Whimsicott

"Two Casteliacones, please, with chocolate sprinkles." The girl still didn't look too amused from the guy who had came in soaking wet and dirty, but she handed him the Casteliacones. "That'll be 640 Pokéd-" She was cut off as a Buizel launched itself towards the ice cream cart, splattering the girl with the chilly Casteliacone cream. Charlie and Beldum ran from the seen as ice cream was being splattered all over the people in line. He offered a cone to Beldum, who made it float in front of himself. He then ran towards the broke, wet, dirty trainer and grabbed him arm with his now free hand, leading him towards an alley. Charlie sighed. "You better hope that no one saw where we went, because all those people are probably pissed. Here," he said, offering his Casteliacone to the other trainer, and took the one he handed to Beldum and ate some, and then handed it back. Beldum didn't really know how to eat the strange new food, so he tried to mimic his trainer. He made the ice cream float towards his head, until he buried his eye in the frozen vanilla goodness. He recoiled at the sudden cold temperature, before doing the same thing again. With no success in getting a flavorful sensation out of it, he tried again, this time harder. When that didn't work he made the Casteliacone float towards his, this time continuously beating the ice cream with its face, until it was a cracked cone on the floor. Charlie facepalmed. "That was a good use of money..."

Professor Cedar

Pokémon Lab

@MissFortune

"Fantasia, look, my son wouldn't do that. He's been... Distant lately, he hasn't even really conversed with his father, and I doubt he would steal something, especially something that he knew was handcrafted by his mother and her team. Look, I'll have my best people look into it, but I have a call to get back to." She looked down at her phone and picked it up quickly, but if someone looked earlier, they could make out the last name Heirloom. She pointed to two of the people at the front desk and then pointed to the microphone. They nodded in response as she fled back to the back room. A thick voice could then be heard over the speakers. "Excuse me, if anyone has seen a Leaf Stone encrusted Pokédex, please report to the front booth. I repeat, if you have seen a Leaf Stone encrusted Pokédex please report to the front booth," The voice went off the speakers but then continued to the guard next to him, "Erick, check out that shifty magician guy." The man nodded as he went to go look through the crowd. Then the events happened. The running the shouting, the Gyarados, the panic, and then... He was gone. The guard spoke into his com, "Target is on the move. Last seen on the corner of Dale and Prospect, wearing a frilly magicians costume and has a shiny Zorua. Keep distance from the Zorua."

"We're sorry Ms. Heirloom. We'll notify you on this when we've found something new." He said, handing her a PokéNav Generation 27, complete with Phone Call capability, a PokéRadar, and electronic region map, and other features.

Jackson McQueen

Jackson grinned as he was handed his equipment and began leaving the town but after realizing how hungry he was he wandered over to what looked like an ice cream place and bought a cone. Turning around to see a few of the others all hanging around but what caught his eye was what looked like a white clawed foot barely hanging out of an alley. Well Isn't that interesting he thought to himself as he wandered over cone in hand and came around the corner to see a Beldum smacking itself in the face with a cone. Jackson couldn't help it he started laughing at the whole idea. After a moment he looked up chuckling.

"I'm sorry that was just too funny." That was the moment Jackson realized that the Beldum was shiny. "Woah okay talk about a lucky day for your trainer, Oh I'm Jackson by the way." he added with a chuckle.

Fantasia Heirloom

Estoria City, Sanctuary

@AbysmalDemon

"Excuse me, if anyone has seen a Leaf Stone encrusted Pokédex, please report to the front booth. I repeat, if you have seen a Leaf Stone encrusted Pokédex please report to the front booth.” The thick voice rang, you’ve got to be kidding me. Fantasia could feel the anger bubbling inside her, imbeciles! Letting everyone know over the intercom that a near-priceless Pokedex meant surely she’d never see it again.

“Ugh! You! Who even hired you! The whole blasted place is going to be looking for it at this rate!” She clenched her fists, shaking in rage. “Do you think that they are going to return it once they see the Leaf Stone accents? Do you have any idea how much a Leaf Stone cost!?”

"We're sorry Ms. Heirloom. We'll notify you on this when we've found something new." He said, handing her a PokéNav Generation 27, which only seemed to trigger Fantasia even more.

[color=f49ac2]“Are you kidding me! A Generation 27?” She threw it to the ground, shattering the device. “I don’t want a bloody Generation 27, how do you think that is going to make me look? I’ll be a laughing stock, people will call me cheap!”

She breathed heavily, taking Budew out of her purse for a brief moment to take out her cellular device, encased in a Leaf Stone. [color=f49ac2]“You’ll never work in this region again, once my father hears about the ameteur security this place has.”

She called her father, whom neglected to answer which sent her to voicemail. “Daddy! These incompetent swine are running amuck here at the sanctuary, they tried to give me a Generation 27 Pokedex and can’t find my new one! I am in tears, this is the worst day of my life! I hate everyone!”

She threw her phone back into her bag, causing a scene for the whole Sanctuary to behold when suddenly the attention had shifted to outside - people swarming to the window, small whispers turned into a roar of conversation. Fantasia made her way over to the doors, perhaps someone had found the Pokedex?

She shoved people out of her way, making room for her enormous dress to behold a huge Red Gyarados blocking traffic. She ran toward it, pulling a Great Ball out of her purse - it wasn’t a Leaf Stone pokedex but it sure was bragging rights to that snob Charlie.

“Out of my way! It’s mine, I want it!” She marched past the security officers only for a huge cloud of smoke to erupt in front of it. She screamed for a brief moment which quickly turned into coughing, by the time the smoke dissipated the red sea dragon had vanished quite completely.

“Tell me what just happened, now!” Fantasia demanded to the nearest officer, throwing the ball past her frightened Budew into her purse. “Well, Miss Heirloom - that was a diversion by the man who stole your Pokedex.”

“And which way did he go?” She rolled her eyes and tapped her foot impatiently. “Uh... He couldn’t have gotten far - we have dispatched all units to scout the area, don’t concern yourself with it; why don’t you go get a Casteliacone with the other trainers? We will notify you if anything changes.”

“For your sake it better…” Fantasia said with a menacing look on her face as she clicked her heels in the opposite direction toward Casteliacone, “I’ll be at Casteliacone; I have a few questions for Charles.”

Hotaru Tomoe

@Sho Minazuki

She nodded and listened to why he was here. He wanted to be a champion, not just a normal champion but someone who helped people. It was a very selfless dream. To achieve a victory not for one's self but for others. She was even more grateful to have picked him as her traveling companion now then she was a little while ago. She then thought a little to herself and then looked to him. With his help she could full fill her dream and he could full fill his. I mean all she wanted to do was capture pokemon on paper or with her camera. She did not really have interest in catching them with a pokeball. Well not forcibly of course. Perhaps her team would get bigger then just Zed. He then asked where she would like to eat and that made her scratch her head a little. She was never really adventurous when it came to the city. Not many pictures of pokemon can be taken in a city. She sighed and as they moved towards the exit and she saw a ice cream cone stand, perhaps they could get a ice cream cone?... Then again that doesn't make for a good lunch really. Desert maybe but not a lunch. Not like it mattered because some man who lacked personal hygiene screwed that idea up for anyone. Zed kinda laughed at the situation though. She wasn't too happy mostly because it created a lot of chaos. She looked to Rylen and then down at her pokenav. She pulled it out and activated it. Using it's mapping feature to find a good place to eat. That she could afford. If the lab served lunch she would just go there but that was unlikely.
Sadly there wasn't much that 300P could afford. She then looked closely at it and then looked to right to see some diner that had a few things she could afford. "I suppose we could go to that diner over there. It has a few things that are cheap enough for me" She said. Even though she was hungry she felt a little discouraged at going there. She wouldn't have enough for supplies really. Then again... perhaps Rylen can do most of the battling if any occur, but that would make her look bad if he handled all the bills because she had no money. Zed would have to battle too... problem was he was a ghost type. Other then confusion there wasn't much he could do to fight others unless they were a type that wasn't normal or dark type. She sighed and looked to Zed. "We are going to need more friends,... I mean pokemon for our team. You can't do all of the battling." Zed felt like shrugging at her words, but he remembered he doesn't have shoulders, he sighed at the thought and simply wished in his head that he would evolve into a Haunter soon. At least with that he would have floating hands. It would make things less.... weird.

She looked over at Rylen and his Larvitar and smiled. "Some day your going to have to let me sketch the two of you. Perhaps when we are out of the city."She added. The two did look good together. Zed was a good friend but she would like a pokemon she could hold like he did. Yeah she could hold Zed in a way but with his purple flames it was just not the same. Zed was very good at hide and seek games though. Being able to go through the floor and walls made it pretty cheatsy.

Ace Walker

Estoria City, Casteliacone

@Whimsicott

Ace and Zorua stood in line, pulling out a wad of dollar bills Ace had made earlier from his performances. The line was decently long, so Ace took the downtime to scan the area. There were many tables situated with striped umbrellas to beat the heat in the vacant parking lot as well as some limestone restrooms that looked seemingly immaculate. Suddenly, a loud clatter was heard and the first person in line was drenched in water and iced cream. Ace looked ahead, the man clearly embarrassed and distraught - he couldn’t help but take pity.

"HEY, THAT BOY USED HIS POKEMON TO DESTROY THE ICE CREAM!" The woman at the counter heckled, calling for security. Shit. Ace needed to act fast, he ran to the front of the line where the young man was trying to explain himself. “Woah, woah, woah! What is going on here!?”

“I’ll tell you what’s going on here! This man’s pokemon just destroyed what was left of my inventory, how am I going to make a profit now!?” She continued her calling out to the guards, whom were inching closer to the food truck. “Hey c’mon now, I’m sure it was just a misunderstanding - how much money are we talking?”

“Roughly speaking, 300 dollars.” She shot a suspicious eye at Ace, whom kept a calm and cool demeanor. “Why are you askin’ anyhow?”

“I just don’t wanna see an innocent foreigner punished for circumstances out of his control.” He smiled wholesomely, pulling out a wad of twenty dollar bills, handing her the whole stack. “This should about cover the damage, right?”

“I suppose.” She counted the bills, making sure they weren’t counterfeit. “Good, then we will be on our way.” He said, putting an arm around Rolf’s shoulder as he escorted him away from the officers and toward the restroom; The man looked as if he was going to say something, but Ace cut him off.

“Alright, I helped you - now you are going to help me.” Ace looked back, covering Rolf’s mouth the moment he was about to speak. Ace directed Rolf’s eyes toward the guards who were interrogating with the vendor woman, “We don’t have much time, I need you to distract those cops for me only for a moment while I make a costume change.”

The drenched and sticky man looked very confused, “Ugh, okay so clearly you aren’t an expert at this so I’ll walk you through it. Simply put, you are going to fake a bad fall in front of those guards, slip on the wet puddles you made, the iced cream or something I don’t really care - just do it and do it well. If they ask about me you tell them I took off running in the opposite direction, got it?” The man nodded his head while Ace took off his magician hat and mask in a short lived attempt to blend into the crowd. “One more thing, don’t cross me because trust me you’ll regret it - I’ll be back in a moment.”

He made his way to the pristine bathrooms and into a stall. The men were undoubtedly going to interrogate him, all Ace could do was hope that he didn’t ‘spill the beans’ so to speak. Ace proceeded to change into a spare set of clothes he had planned in his bag, which was hidden behind a limestone brick - which Ace hollowed out earlier that week for this purpose. He slipped into casual clothes, a zip-up jacket and some stylishly ripped jeans that would blend seamlessly into the crowd. Before he left the restrooms he commanded Zorua to hop inside his bag after squishing his magician garb to the bottom of it. Without even having to ask, Zorua took control of the situation by transforming into an inconspicuous Eevee - poking it’s head out of the bag. In a final strategic move, Ace placed the encrusted Pokedex behind the limestone brick and without a moment to soon the two made their way out of the bathroom.

Now was the moment of truth, could the water and ice cream doused boy be trusted?

Micky

Micky had woken up earlier today than he usually did. How couldn't he. The level of excitement he had for beginning his journey was through the roof. Despite his not being under a roof at the moment. He was outside finishing his last chores he would have for a long time while also saying goodbye to some of the current Pokemon residents. He poured the pokefood into some bowls and whistled. Suddenly, many tiny young Pokemon ran out of their various hiding places and started chowing down on their early breakfast.

The young teen looked at all the little friends he had and said, "It's finally time guys. I'm heading out. Get big and strong for when I come back with some new friends." At that many of the young Pokemon called out as if they were saying good luck. Micky was gonna miss helping out here, but having his own adventure was not something to pass up. As he started heading back to the small house his family called home he could hear a powerful Pokemon announce it's presence. It was Blaziken, Alex's first Pokemon for his journey, which meant the older brother was somewhere nearby.

Micky followed Blaziken to the front of the house where his family stood. Alex was the one that spoke up, "So now it's your turn. Are you ready?" That was a silly question. Of course he was, but all Micky could manage to do was nod his head, and hug his family. "Well, come on. Let's head out. Me and Blaze will walk you there. I'll give you some extra advice on the way."

It wasn't that far from the Daycare to the lab so the walk wasn't to long. Alex really just gave a few extra pointers as they made their way. Luckily they arrived after all the commotion just a few moments ago. What was unlucky about that was how Micky was very late and had little time to get his Pokemon. He, however, didn't realize this. "Alright, I'm gonna give you some extra spending money for meals. Keep a constant note of how much you have on you at all times." As the older brother said this he produced 750p and placed it in Micky's hand. "Thanks Alex. I'll do my best." He said as he gave his brother a hug. "Don't worry about it. By the way you are aware we got here late. You should hurry."

Once the fact of time was brought to Micky's attention he mentally said crap and bolted to the doors as he heard his brother say goodbye one last time. He darted through the room past everyone, quickly grabbed a pokeball and pokedex, then ran into the sanctuary. He ran for quite a while before stopping having noticed the beautiful scenery. The place was magnificent. He looked all around taking in all he saw when he suddenly tripped over something that felt a little squishy under his feet.

Micky crashed hard face first into the mud. "Ow, what the heck?" He flipped over onto his back to see something jammed into the mud with two tiny blue legs and a blue tail thing. Micky pulled out his PokeDex to scan the tiny little headless creature. After a few seconds the PokeDex spoke revealing the identity of the stuck Pokemon to be a Poliwag. Just as the PokeDex finished the tiny Pokemon finally freed itself from it's muddy stockades. The tadpole type Pokemon looked furious. That didn't stop Micky from pulling out his pokeball to throw at the minute creature. However, Micky messed up the throw and the wrong end of the pokeball hit the Poliwag knocking it over with a loud thud.

"I don't think that's how it works." He then stands up picking up his pokeball and the dazed Poliwag. He is about to tap it with the correct side of the pokeball only to look up and see a mass of other Poliwags staring at him from the water. Micky doesn't realize the danger he is in and proceeds to capture the Poliwag he was holding. As he puts the pokeball on his belt he notices more Poliwags even closer and almost surrounding him. He then puts his hands up and slowly starts to back away. Then the crazy starts to happen. All the Poliwags scream as loud as they can and more leap out from the water straight towards Micky, "What the heck."

The young teen quickly starts running only to have the horde of Polywags to chase him. He didn't have a Pokemon around to save him due to most being captured by this point so he ran screaming at the top of his lungs for help. That's when he saw two other trainers standing to the side talking and he yelled to them, "POLIWAGS!!!"

Rolf Bannian

Deciding that the buizel would be called Pinwheel at least made him feel like there wasn't a group of pissed off trainers in line behind him. He didn't want to get in trouble in Fordis- ha was sure he already stuck out like a sore thumb, the only one who had a pokemon but also looked visibly dirty. How was it that trainers could spend every waking moment outdoors and still look so sick and span? His parents hated the way he smelled when he had been out at sea for a few hours, and even then he liked to carry a change of clothes with him. Being wet in the water was a completely different situation than being wet in a city. It wasn't the stares or the scoffs and scorn that bothered him, it was the frustration that he couldn't seem to get anything done lately. He had never fallen overboard and the one time he did, he lost everything? He had no money, no idea how to take care of Pinwheel, no friends, and, by the looks of it, wasn't going to get any ice cream, either.

Or so he thought. He wasn't even aware his feet were moving on their own, like leaves in the wind, but they were strung along as much as the rest of him when Charlie took him by the arm. His first thought of being pulled into a shady alleyway was that the other boy was going to beat him up, or at least try to- Rolf was sure he cold fight the other kid off, though he wasn't sure about the sturdy looking beldum he had. Clenching his hands into fists as he watched his calm buizel follow them- on two legs, no less- fully prepared to make a run for it, the damp sailor's eyes widened from their threatening glare when the other offered him an ice cream. His first reaction was to bite into it- he hadn't eaten anything but the hospital mush for a week, and there was still sand lodged in his throat- but he saw how Pinwheel stared at it curiously. He took a lick, and pointed it at the pokemon. "Go on, Pinwheel," He coerced, "it's real good."

Rolf turned to look at the helpful benefactor. He smiled a little, "Thanks. I don't have any money... or anything, really to repay you with but- thank you." He was about to introduce himself when he thought about just leaving the ice cream stand without doing- something. Wasn't that technically theft since Pinwheel destroyed what could have been potential profits? He frowned, staring at the other boy who couldn't be much older than he, but already appeared to have a bond with his ice-cream eyed beldum, and maybe he was being presumptive thinking so, but Rolf had a feeling that the two had met that day.

So what separated him from being a good trainer? Pinwheel didn't seem to dislike him by any means, but he had no idea what to do about the buizel's attitude. Hell, he had just given the damn weasel what could be interpreted as a reward for trashing the Casteliacone stand! That wouldn't do at all. If Pinwheel couldn't control himself in front of sweets, how would Rolf ever ensure that it would be safe to take him on excursions if- no! When! - he found the S.S. Summer Wind? He picked the buizel up with one arm, causing the furry pokemon to cry out. "There's something I gotta do."

When he arrived in front of the stand again, though, he had no idea what his plan was. Apologizing wouldn't be enough, so maybe he and Pinwheel could just pay the bill with hard labor? The surprise was evident on Rolf's face when the magician apeared from seemingly nowhere and covered the bill, even though he had never seen him in his life. Pinwheel couldn't care less, but he tagged along all the same when Ace whisked him off to the men's room. Well... Rolf supposed that now he wasn't in trouble, but Pinwheel still didn't understand why jumping into a tub of ice cream wasn't proper behavior. Still, it would be rude not to thank the other boy, and the sailor was prepared to do just that- for all his misfortune, it seemed that others were in very generous moods today- only for the other young man to finish talking and Rolf quickly realizing that the other wasn't as generous as he had thought. Plus the other had covered his mouth- enough grounds to pick a fight, in Undella Town. Only minor rage and confusion flashed across the sailor's face as the other finished speaking, even giving him a crash-course on how to distract law enforcement. Any sentiment that Rolf might have had, quickly vanished. "Hold it! You want me to help you run from the cops?" He demanded in an angry whisper.

Shooting a look to Pinwheel, hoping the pokemon would understand the situation was unusual, Rolf was disgusted to see the buizel was all but smirking at him. Great. All the pokemon he had met today had giratina's blood running through their veins, expect maybe the beldum, but beldums don't have blood anyways. Rolf would have been fine to tell the other boy to go into a stall and flush that stupid magician getup into the toilet, but he took a deep breath. Criminal scumbag or not, this kid had owed him nothing and helped him out. And, perhaps on a deeper level, Rolf was happy someone finally saw some use in him in his arceus-forsaken region. "Alright. You saved my sorry hide, I'll return the favor. But don't expect this to be a regular thing! I'm bailing you out because you helped me, that's all." Rolf's eyes were sharp with stubbornness, jabbing his finger onto the other's chest. He then paused and looked at Pinwheel. "And there's no way I'm gonna fall."
-
Pinwheel tucked back into his pokeball, Rolf walked out of the restroom, still soaking wet, and receiving some disgusted glances for walking out of a bathroom with everything soaked. It was pretty gross, but he'd been throught way worse on the high seas. Rolf wasted no time in meandering over to the officers, both of which he recognized from the hospital. One, the taller one with a mustache, had been part of the patrol unit that found him lying on the sand. Upon seeing Rolf, the ofixer brightened up. "Hey, it's John Doe! What happened? I thought it was a whole week ago when you washed up onshore!" There was laugher, and he sailor faked his. The vendor seemed to be more comfortable, now that the buizel was nowhere to be seen and it was clear that Rolf was on good terms with the law. Well, that's how it appeared. "Yea, I just had some issues with the bathroom. Plumbing's a mess." The officer raised an eyebrow. "Really? We should go fix it up, before someone else gets drenched!" The officers began to walk towards the restroom, and Rolf shouted,

"Wait! What are you doing here anyways? Did the vendor really call the police?" The officers stopped in their tracks. "Of course not," one said, "but we got a call to secure the area. We've got men to secure the entire city, everywhere but the Route 17 gate. There's been a theft of some sort, and no one's to leave the city without being checked." Rolf's eyes narrowed at this. "What kind of a theft?" The officer with a mustache laughed. "Citizen, you don't need to worry about that. Now, please leave us be to fix the bathroom-"

"I was just wondering, because I saw a shady character." The officers once again turned around. "He was headed east, toward route one," He was glad all that map study was finally coming in handy. "And, I think he had a pokemon with him."

"Great! What kind of pokemon?" Damn! Why couldn't he just have left it at 'headed east'? Well, he had to say something, and the first pokemon that popped into his head was, "Poliwag. I seen him headed with a real mean looking poliwag." The officers nodded, and saluted. "Thank you for the valuable info." They then marched off leaving Rolf to sigh in relief. He then walked away from the vendor, not wanting her to possibly ask him any questions. But his mind was overflowing with questions, even as he stood at the streetcorner. Who was the man he had just helped, and what did he steal..?

Ian Kendrickson

Ian exited the taxi without a word after paying his fare. He wasn't given very much money, but his grandparents agreed to send him enough to keep himself fed so long as he kept in touch. He really didn't mind being late as he wasn't exactly planning on catching anything there. His egg had been extremely lively today, so he was simply hoping it would go on and hatch. He decided it just needed some sunlight and motion, so he took the incubator out of his backpack and cradled it in his arms. Not much longer now, c'mon. Ian thought to himself as he watched the egg slowly wobble from within the small device.

After waiting a few minutes, he sighed and decided to attempt to go on and get registered. What were the odds that a Pokemon so close to hatching wouldn't be eligible? Would they try to make him wait a few more days? No, no. He knew that the egg would be a Sneasel, he didn't exactly know the gender or anything, but what would that matter? But if it hatched now, it would really be great. Most of the Pokemon Ian had even encountered were owned by the elderly people of Agate Village, so for the most part, past their prime. A freshly hatched Pokemon would certainly take much more care, care that Ian was more than ready to give to the Pokemon that he had worked so hard to hatch.

"Are you alright?" Came a concerned voice from behind him. Looking around, he realized he had been staring intensely at an open door with a clock over it.

"Yes." Ian answered automatically. As much as he appreciated the stranger's concern, he was busy...then again, directions would probably be nice. "Excuse me." Ian said turning around to face the person only to see they were in a black suit with sunglasses and what appeared to be an earpiece. An explanation on all that could wait though. "Trainer registration. Where?" He asked simply.
