@arowne97"Going somewhere?" Jake spoke in the same even tone. He would rather not be the only silent one in this sort of group that had somehow formed.

@Im a huge messJames closed his eyes for a moment. "I...don't do well around people. Especially more talkative people." He looked at Jake with his purple eyes that seemed to glow. "They tend to cause me stress. That is something that I must avoid."

"Wait, seriously, like the real god?" Ashley asked Loki, shaken. If she didn't think she was in the presence of titans before she certainly did now. Maybe this guy was trying to pull her leg too. "You're not just, you know, doing a character. No offence, there are just guys that do that. Act all different when they put on the costume, like a professional wrestler."

Loki smirked and scratched the side of his nose while again placing the crown on his head. "Yes, totes seriously. On a side note my magnificent repertoire of skills includes shape changing, illusions, teleportation, reacting to being shot like someone threw me with a milk dud... Oh and energy projection too! Also I can play through Super Mario Bro's with my eyes closed." He demonstrated his shape changing by briefly changing his coat to a green t-shirt with a funny face and the text 'wot? Loki!' and then back again. "So no, not a character. Though all of us are just characters in our own stories. You know, heroes and all that - though some are just comical side characters in the stories of others they are still very much the heroes of their own."

Tanya gave out a lighthearted chuckle at Ed's performance. "Well, would you look at that. You've got quite the mobile mane over there, Ed" she said, smiling politely as she crossed her arms in front of her chest. Shifting the weight of her body from one leg to another, the dragon girl decided to simply stand there and listen to the ongoing conversations as to learn the most about this group of persons.
There was, for example, this guy dressed in a fancy suit who actually seemed to be an actual god instead of some kind of 24/7 cosplayer. She arched her eyebrow and smirked at his small show when he spontaneously changed his clothes. "Wait a minute..." she said, holding a hand in front of the trickster "Did you just imply that you can actually change gender just like that? That's pretty sweet, to be honest."

Good, now that their attention is elsewhere, we'll just move on our merry way. Come ON Ace, move, on, our, MERRY, way! Ace stares at the fellow who identified as Loki. He had an impressive array of titles and powers, hell, he could easily be the strongest person outside right now. That was a cool and scary thing to think about. Getting on the bad side of this fellow would most definitely be a bad idea, and since we begun so well with the other ones, now would be the perfect time to- "Aren't you also adopted?" He asks out loud instead of just thinking about it. Well, isn't that a fine how do you do Ace. Grand job. "I'll show myself out now." He states and departs from the suddenly even smaller group.

Ed smiled as he relaxed into a more comfortable stance, every seemed happy enough and that was all he could really want from a group. Loki looked like a genuinely fun and nice guy, a good change from what he'd skimmed when studying mythology all those years ago. He got the feeling the closing his eyes to beat a game did not mean the same thing to The God of Mischief as it would to most of the other teens here.

"Aren't you also adopted?"

Stunned for a moment Ed watched the creepy guy make his leave after that bombshell of a question was dropped. He offered a sympathetic look to Loki "ummmmm, are you feeling alright there man?" he said knowing that the prince probably wasn't.

Loki glanced at Tanya and shrugged his shoulders and winked. "Well it does have it's uses in some situations." He was obviously going to say something else when he heard Ace's little comment.

"Aren't you also adopted?

For just a moment all color disappeared from the green clad god's face, the smile also was gone from his face, but only for a very short moment. Then he smiled again and actually laughed dismissively while glancing at Ace's back. "Well, thou art not wrong about that." He turned his attention to Ed and flashed a little smile. "Oh, I'm quite alright, quite alright."

@arowne97 He frowned and looked down a him with his own deep blue eyes. "Oh really?"

@Im a huge messJames let out a sigh. "Let's just say my abilities are...slightly unstable, and influenced by my emotional state. The more stressed I am or any negative emotions can cause it to affect those around me."

@arowne97 "hm..." Jake looked towards the others and tilted his head. "well they seem pretty distracted with each other. Wanna sneak away?"

@arowne97 He took a hold of James's wrist and quickly pulled him away from the others. "lets go"

@Im a huge messJames blinked, letting himself be pulled away. Well, this was certainly better than being around all the talkative people.

Alex pulled up to the school and parked his car, with a sigh he got out to join the herds of students. Looking around he noticed most them seemed to be normal teenagers, but he knew differently. These are the children of hero's and villains, but also the monsters that he and his father have spent a life time killing. A shudder went up his spine at the thought of, "What if I killed someone's parents?" So lost in his thoughts he bumped into something, sorry, someone scaly. "Fuck, I'm soooo sorry. I'll just... be on my way. Sorry again," he apologized before walking away.

The group seemed to be falling apart, at least from what Ace could tell from a bit father. Man, you really screwed that up didn't you? And here I thought you were the master of social interaction. Nope, far from it, and this little event did not help one bit for that matter. Well, time to move onto the greener pastures. He turns his head and steps away, only to bump into someone right away. What happened next, marked the beginning of the greatest school year he had heard of. On the contrary, that wasn't much.

Bump. Grunt. Sound that indicates someone just dropping their glass bottle of soda onto the yard, causing it to shatter.

"Oh what the hell now?" The bigger student groans and turns around to face Ace."Watch where you are going clownboy!" He seems clearly angry. Over a soda? Man, some people. Ace opens his mouth to apologize. Just a tad bit too late as one of the student's acquaintances spoke before him. "I don't think he needs to watch where he's going. He needs to learn how to behave. It's a clown fanboy, see the make up? I'm pretty sure he did that on a purpose. Isn't that what they do? Cause chaos? Man, if he did that to me, I'd teach him some manners." The bigger student frowns deeply and seems even angrier, his hands clench into fists. "Yeah, that's what they do. I'll knock some sense into that head of yours clown!" Well, look at that. We found the brain and the brawn. How much will you bet that these two are the best of friends? Ace lifts his hands slowly."Listen, uh, bud. That was not something I planned on do-" Well you tried your best.

Definitely a fist slams on his right cheek and dropped him down on the ground, the big student snorts and grins. His grind fades as Ace gets back up from that hit and turns. His face twists ad he bends over as Ace's sneaker greets his groin with a sharp kick. Make a call kid. You have a few moments before the adrenaline kicks in, see what I did there, and his pain fades and turns into more pissyness. Run, or gun. Ace lowers his foot back down quickly and plants it on the ground firmly, lifting his fists up and winding right one up before delivering a devastating, well trained haymaker on the side of his head.

You know, I was really thinking about the whole "running" thing over this one. Well, he was down now. Unfortunately, that little scene could not go unnoticed. And to think that took less than three minutes to happen.

Loki shook his head slightly and more or less chose to ignore the others for now. Instead he casually walked after Ace and soon found the kid in some kind of a fight - a fight that was about over by the time he reached it - a fact that kinda miffed him, after all Asgardians did like a good fight every once and a while. Still he had to admit that the 'Ace' fellow had good form, the punch had been good. "If thou dare to think about continuing the fight further I'm joining in." He smiled very politely and motioned at the fellows who were in the receiving end of the beatdown while casually placing his crown on the ground. "I doth think it dishonorable to fight against someone with greater numbers. Thus I dare thee, get on thine feet." Though the Asgardian did not sound in any way actually threatening he did crack his knuckles in a very calculated manner while glancing at the ruffian still standing - the one that had goaded the bigger fellow - as if inviting the fellow to do something stupid. "Doth thou feel lucky, punk? Please, do make mine day."

"Oh, I'm quite alright, quite alright." Even Ed couldn't be taken in with a lie like that, the laughter came off as hollow and the smile was more like a porcelain mask. Though shattering that lie would probably do more harm than good so he decided not to press any further.

"So..." he began breaking the silence hoping the right words would follow "...the biker gear, that a look you're going for?" he let out a great sigh, those were not the right words. He couldn't really blame Loki when he left the group, its not like there was anything he could say. That Jake kid had snuck off with one of the other blokes leaving him with Tanya and Ashley, it had been some time since he'd been unable to get a conversation going but he felt a little put out by the way the last one had ended.

"Well, do you guys have some happier news to share?" he asked hopeful

"Oh, this." Ashley said, pointing to her head. "Not, this is just an alternative to a hazmat suit. Not that I'm sick or anything!" She added quickly. "Just, I give off this dust and it gets everywhere if the wind blows through my oh my god what a dick."

Some guy slammed the clown kid and he went down. The guy got it right in the nuts soon after that and then the clown kid laid him out flat. Loki was posturing at the other guy, but she decided he might need a little help. She whipped off both he gloves and placed them under her arm before raising us her dusty hands toward the other guy. She didn't clowns more than anyone else, but this was a hero school. You should act like it. It boiled her blood.

The ash flaked off her hands, then seem to suddenly build up. "It's not very impressive," she said to Tanya and Ed. "But everyone else is showing off so I should get to, right." With that the ash around her hands seemed to implode before rushing forward in a jet like spray across the yard, leaving a little trail under it as it went. It passed near Loki and caught the big guys friend square in the face. It wasn't enough to hurt him, being more like a fire extinguisher than anything else, but the rolling cloud was sufficient to coat him tips to toes.

After a few seconds a spray she lowered her hands, cutting it. "Cool off jackass, act like you deserve to be here." she shouted.

Jake noticed the fight going on and decided to investigate it, leaving the other. "hey, whats going on?"
