Round 0

And so we begin. On an icy planet, slowly decending into an ice age. But on this seemingly barren ice ball is life. Single cell orginisims, drifting listless in the slowly freezing ocean. This is where you come in, can you bring a species to survive the coming hardships? Or will you be yet another failure in the evolutionary ladder? Let's find out.

P.S (player species)

The Beks:These rest in the twilight zone of the ocean, floating listlessly hoping to run into food. They are slightly poisonous, giving predators a reason to leave them alone for easier prey. Their population is steady. But with declining temperatures and other species disappearing they may soon find themselves facing crisis.

Boros:A blank sleight. They drift directionless in the twilight zone, hoping for food. They are a prime target for predators, and their population is slowly declining. They face crisis if no action is taken.

-No unique behavioral choices-

Paracellium:One of the most numerous species, these guys have undoubtedly done the best in the recent global snow-takeover. They may be small but their need for less and fast reproduction makes for a powerful survival combo. They, like the others dwell listlessly in the twilight zone. Drifting through whatever it needs. The population is steady but predators make it so that it grows at a very small rate.

Ichoricus:A parisitic orginisim, these guys drift along in the twilight zone until they come across another species then they latch on, and drain it of nutrients for the foreseeable future. They are small in numbers but steady. No current threat.

Karn:One of the few remaining plant species. As one of the few who's clinged to life so far they aren't doin so well. They live near the surface, turning what sunlight they can get into food. Their numbers are steadily declining.

Acidium Vorax:A unique case, it lives in the twilight zone of the ocean, floating around aimlessly passing through food. What has made this species the second most numerous is how effectively they manage to use what they have. Their population is steady and there are no threats of note.

Nps (Non player species)

Preditori: (feel free to suggest a new name) A small orginisim, they live in large hunting colones and trap prey before devoting it. They traverse all throughout the zones.

Round 1
[center]

The Beks:In order to try and make more use of the surrounding resources the Beks develop their process of breaking down food. Slowing them a to get more out of what they used to eat and being able to eat a wider variety of nutrients. They also experience a small population boom. (Stable population, small boost.)

-Nothing unique-

The Boros:Like an incredibly luck roll of dice the Boros harden their defenses by hardening their cell walls by a dramatic degree. This, combined with a small boost in population puts their population on the rise!

-Nothing unique-

Acidium Vorax: They develop eyespots, and a weak flagellum, capable of short bursts of speed. This gives them a slight advantage, but things don't change much. (Pop, slowly rising.) though there is a small burst in Pop, giving them that much more distance from extinction.

-UNIQE BEHAVIORAL TRAIT DETECTED- (1.Swim towards detected light- 2. Swim away from light.

Ichorius: No changes, pop stable. For now

Karn:Seeking to stabilize their population by taking a more active role the Karn develop a weak flagellum. Capable of propelling them for a couple of seconds. They attempt to head to the surface, luck is aparantly on their side and their bassicly as close to the surface as they can get. Their population manages to grow a bit, but it's still going down, albeit slower than before.

-Nothing Uniqe-

Paracelium:These hardy buggers bodies elongate into spherical shapes, requiring even less for them to survive off of. Even more so they become capable of attaching themselves to passerby. Using small tendrils. Though the tendrils are under formed and have a tendency of losing their grip. Population continues to rise.

NPS-

Preditory-The predatory remain unchanged and unchanlegend as the top of the Uniceliur food chain.

Round 2

The Beks:Missfortune finds its way to this budding species. While they remain evolutionary stagnant local predators take an interest in them. (Pop takes damage, reproduction rates stay stable. But takes a hit)

The Boros: With an unseen mercy the Boros began to drift together, forming by chance large colonies. (Pop stable, rising slightly.)

Acidium Vorax:Nothing to report.

Karn:Seeing the need for less expensive taste the Karn shrink in size, requiring less to survive. With the waves and wind interfering so close to the the species distance between eachother greatins. (Species beginning to stablize. Barely any Pop loss per year.)

Ichorius: With the competitive evolutionary area the Ichorus's population is slowly starting to dwindle.

Paraciliam:The Paraciliam's tentacles evolve, now able to grasp onto another creature for unprecedented umounts of time. Unfortunately a failed mutation kills a large portion of the population. (Pop stable and growing fast. But numbers took a hit.

Preditori: begins to wait in places where the current lags, with hopes of ambushing prey.

1.Payer choice! This ones sticking around as long as I'm lazy enough for it!

SPECIAL EVENT

For this time only you have the chance of forming rudimentary colonies, though you must get a higher role than usual for these "colonies" to succeed. So how about it? Feel like taking a risk and potentially wasting a turn?

Round 3

Paraciliam:These grabby little fellows begin to develop basic eyespots. And are now able to tell when light is present or absent. And as if with the urging of some strange being they devolop a rudimentary camouflage, able to turn transparent. Which they use to their advantage when hitching a ride. (Pop, same.) their atempt to form a colonie, which meets some success. But these are temporary formations that are broken easily.

-NEW ACTION AVALIBLE!-1.When detecting light move towards it. 2.when detecting light move away from it.

The Beks: Seeing the uptake in predictors the Beks advance their poison in leaps and bounds! Any predator taking a bite out of them find themselves facing a quick death. (Pop growing! Large lapse in predators.)

-nothing unique-

The Karn: Seeking to take in more energy and as a byproduct begin emitting low amounts of methan. With this uptake in resource production the Boros population is begining to rise!

-nothing unique-

The Boros:They develop eyespots and are now able to tell between the absence and presence of light. The Boros colonies begin to drift closer to the surface. But with the recent elimination of the Beks from the food chain the predators have begun to take an interest in the Boros. (Pop stable...for now)

-nothing unique-

Ichorius:The stagnant Ichorius face crisis. (Pop in decline.)

-1.Pop boost-

Acidium Vorax: Nothing new.

-Swim towards light. Or swim away from light.

Predatory-The begins to decline, thanks to an unfortunate reliance on the Beks.

Round 4

The Karn:Taking an aggressive turn the plant species develop to the point where orginisims and nutrients that pass through them are digested. (Pop stable.)

-nothing unique-

The Beks:A turn of fate it seems! Lady Luck has deemed the Beks unworthy of her fickle attention. They stagnate, though the Pop. Remains stable.

-nothing unique-

The Boros: it seems these lucky fellows are going up! Seeing the advantages of a highly advanced appendage. Allowing them to grasp on to passing prey with lethal abandon. Their colonies turn the path of the Preditori, trapping prey inside of colonies and tearing them apart. (Pop rising fast! For now.)

-Nothing unique-

Paraciliam:Nothing to report.

1.When detecting light move towards it. 2.when detecting light move away from it.

Ichorius:The population of the Ichorius are dwindling! If action is not taken in the next turn extinction will come.

-Pop boost! Last chance!-

Acidium Vorax:Nothing to important. Though a stagnant species is assured death over time.

-nothing unique-

Preditori:seeing the increased population the preditori colonies begin grouping together! Forming large hunting swarms.

-nothing unique-

Round 5

The Boros:Seeing movement become a priority the Boros develop cilia which completely cover the orginisims "body". These can be described as thin hair-like structures. Acting as both rudementry touch sensors and as a means of propulsion. One could think of them as a rowing system. Moving in sync to propel the Boros.(Pop continues to grow at a steady rate!)

-nothing unique-

The Karn:The Karn go green! Which is to say in order to develop a more advanced way of producing energy. To add to this the Karn begin to fallow the Boros around when the light is weakest and feeding on their scraps. (The Karn are now on par with the average species. And have successfully put evovled all other plant life! Pop stable and growing!)

-nothing unique-

The Beks:With a turn of fate the Neks develop a weak flagulam, able to propel themselves for short periods of time! Other than this not much has changed.

-nothing unique-

The Ichorius: The Ichorius now face extinction! Their population is barely scraping by and the next turn will mean certain death.

-nothing unique-

Paraciliam: Population is slowly declining!

1.When detecting light move towards it. 2.when detecting light move away from it.

Acidium Vorax: The population begins to decline!

-nothing unique-

Preditori:The hunting swarms develop a strong flagulam! Able to propel themselves in frantic bursts! Usually used to blindly charge into prey.
